Is Putin Getting Russians Ready for War With NATO?

I know everyone is familiar with the first nuclear threat from Putin. Now, he thinks it’s time for another nuclear threat. The US and its Nato allies have seemed to call Putin on his bluff to use his nuclear arsenal. Let’s be very clear here if Putin isn’t bluffing we may be headed for World War III. Scary right?

 

In addition to the many dangers posed to the millions of innocent people involved in this disaster, the war could lead to a more serious, even unintentional, spiral of escalation involving nuclear-armed NATO and Russian militaries.

The Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine could increase the risk of an imminent nuclear catastrophe, which Russia and the international community as a whole must avoid. For example, a proposal by Russia’s vassal state Belarus to possess Russian tactical nuclear weapons, if pushed by Putin, would further undermine Russian and European security and increase the risk of nuclear war.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a chilling reminder of the nuclear dangers in this war. In a televised address announcing the war against Ukraine on 24 February 2022, President Putin reminded the West that Russia does not exclude using nuclear weapons first in a conflict: “A few words to those who might be tempted to interfere in the unfolding events from the outside. Anyone who tries to hinder us and… creates a threat for our country and our people must know that the response will be immediate and will lead to consequences.

The Biden administration knows the risk of nuclear war, and yet, they are still arming the Ukrainians. The US and its Nato allies have again committed themselves to aid the Ukrainian Military with the so badly needed heavier weaponry. Biden has already made remarks as to Putin will not win this war.

Washington has been focused on the controversy surrounding the “nine words” in President Biden’s Warsaw speech about Russian President Vladimir Putin: “For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power.” But the real problem was the words that were missing: “For God’s sake, Russia cannot remain in Ukraine.”   “washingtonpost“

Either Putin is trying to scare the US and its NATO allies to stop arming Ukraine against the Russian army and airforce by using nuclear war as a deterrent. or he is getting the Russian people ready for a war against the US and its allies (NATO).

Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a Wednesday address that any countries who “create a strategic threat to Russia” during its war in Ukraine can expect “retaliatory strikes” that would be “lightning-fast.” Days before, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview that “NATO is essentially going to war with Russia through a proxy and arming that proxy.”

Various experts who spoke with Newsweek recently said Russian officials have increased the amount of threatening rhetoric as a way of stoking fear in NATO allies. Some experts also feel it’s an effort to win over the hearts and minds of the Russian public.

“All along, Russian domestic propaganda has emphasized that Russia is at war not with Ukraine, but with NATO and the West,” Yuri Zhukov, an associate professor at the University of Michigan, told Newsweek. “Behind every Ukrainian military success, in this narrative, there is a NATO officer telling the Ukrainian where, when, and whom to shoot.”    “msn.com“

It is scary to think that the Russian President (Vladimir Putin) would actually risk a nuclear war with the US and its NATO allies is just absolutely insane. If The Russian military can’t even take a small country such as Ukraine which was supposed to fall within days of the invasion. I would only hope that if he has plans to do so, one or more of his high-ranking generals would step up and refuse to fire nuclear missiles.

It was a year ago at the Geneva summit President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin both agreed that the threat of nuclear war Cold War relic. Now, Putin is so irritated (embarrassed) that his invasion has become more than just personal, it has become an embarrassment to him. Now the threat of nuclear war has become a reality.
