I am Quitting My Job to Follow My Dreams…

Today, I gave my work notice that I’ll be leaving to follow my dreams as a full-time writer and public speaker.

I started this journey after writing my book “Black Victim To Black Victor” and I had no idea if anyone would buy the book or even like the book. I just wanted to express myself and tell my story.

Since the release of my book in March 2021, I’ve written for multiple publications like The NY Post, Newsweek, Daily Mail, Human Events & The Federalist to name a few. I never saw myself as even doing something like this.

I’ve been on Fox News, Fox Business, The Hill’s rising, Sky News Australia, and Newsmax. Most of these appearances stemmed from my writings. I would have never thought I’d be on television or even feel comfortable enough to do so.

I tend to take things in stride and minimize them but to think about all I’ve accomplished in a year and a half, it’s a true blessing.

I’ve been very blessed to meet wonderful people who’ve helped me behind the scenes and given me enough courage to take this leap.

I get so much fulfillment from writing and people would ask me why I’m not doing it full-time. While on vacation in Europe, my wife and I started talking about if this is even possible. She’s been extremely supportive of this decision and she believes in me.

I have so many things I’m trying to do but my work life was too much of a hindrance. Now, I’ll be able to expand on projects and write more often

Here is what I’m planning on doing…

First, I’ll be getting back to writing my second book which will be discussing saviorism. I have so many directions I can take this book but I need time to sit down and concentrate on it. I’ll finally be able to do this.

Second, I’ll be writing a weekly column for Human Events starting in December. I’m really looking forward to expanding on this relationship and discussing topics in an outside-of-the-box manner.

Third, I plan to keep expanding on Wrong Speak Publishing by encouraging people to have their voices heard through our platform.

I’m also trying to get more people to write books and publish books through us as well. It’s a work in progress but I’m looking forward to it.

I’m also starting to offer my services for writing coaching, more specifically for non-fiction book writers.

I’ll be writing even more on my Substack about all types of topics.

Last, I want to do more public speaking. This has been something I’ve thoroughly enjoyed doing and allows me to meet people and have a great impact in person. Whether it be organizations, universities, or high schools, I just want to impact people in a positive way.

For all my supporters, thank you so much for your kind words. To my editors, thank you for the opportunity to express myself to the public. I don’t take any of it for granted.

In a couple of weeks, I’ll be in London to appear on the Triggernometry Podcast with @KonstantinKisin & @francisjfoster and I’ll be on @Give_Me_TheJist podcast as well. Possibly some TV & Radio while I’m out there.

I’m incredibly excited & grateful.

I feel it’s apropos that my full-time journey will begin on Thanksgiving as I’m incredibly grateful to go down this path.

I believe in myself and I believe God has given me the strength & talent to succeed. Thank you all again.

Editor’s Note: Congratulations to Adam for making this huge leap of faith. Best of luck Sir!

  1. You will succeed, even when you think you might not have. Taking the plunge is half the battle. Sharpen your sword and pen, along with an occasional eraser. Best wishes!
