As the 2024 Presidential Election approaches, it remains to be seen if former President Donald Trump still has the support of the Republican Party. While some members of the House of Representatives have said it is time to move on from Trump, he has remained relatively quiet on the matter.
However, top Republicans have not come out to defend him from his latest blunder: meeting with white supremacist and holocaust denier Nick Fuentes. Trump took to social media to give a reasonable explanation for meeting with Kanye West, but he insisted that he did not know who Fuentes was. This raises questions about Trump’s honesty and whether he disrespects the American people.
It’s disappointing that Trump can’t seem to move on from the 2020 election. Yes, it may have been stolen from him, but nothing can be done about it now. Trump needs to focus on what the American people want and need today. They’re concerned about the economy, healthcare costs, and Congress bickering instead of governing. If Trump wants to win back support, he must listen to the people and give them what they want.
It’s important to remember that Trump did a lot of good things while he was in office. Times are changing, and we need a leader willing to change with us instead of against us. I don’t agree with Biden’s policies or our country’s direction. Returning the House was a significant step in the right direction, but we almost lost it. The House Republicans are already talking about their agenda for the next two years, and it seems like all they want to do is investigate instead of governing. McCarthy is making deals so that he can become Speaker of the House. It feels like a revenge agenda.
There’s a good chance we could lose control of the House again in 2024 if we’re not careful. Trump’s time has passed, and we need new leadership. We lost the Senate because of poor candidates who Trump endorsed. If we ignore what happened in the House elections, we’re headed for another loss in 2024. I’m hoping Desantis will get into the race; he’s as strong as Trump without all the baggage. If Trump does win the nomination, I’ll vote Republican because I want what’s best for my party.
God Bless the United States, and God Bless Our Veterans

Takes an awful lot of hate to try to blame all the woes of our country on Trump’s back. You might take a ride on the wayback machine in your mind, and go back to the time that it was just old style Tammany Hall corruption before you go and blame Trump for what “happened to the people” who voted for him in 2016 and 2020. Those last two elections were taken from the people who voted, not the politician who ran. History is full of examples that many have let go by the wayside, for their moments of expedience in hatred of more recent events that will have so much damage to all of us. One man is not what saves the world. Not Trump, not DeSantis, nor anyone else. That is now in the hands of those who seek to understand and worship our Creator, who will come back and make everything right, and destroy the rest. It has been in His hands all along.
Casting the blame on Trump is not too far removed from blaming original sin on the serpent. Friend, who put the serpent in the Garden of Eden? Have you ever wondered why?
We both want what’s best for our party and our country. We might eventually get there, together, but not until we come to agreements we have not discussed, like how we are to stand up against evil, hubris and vanity.
This is much more than one man.
Sorry, I meant to say “To those who voted in 2020 and 2022”. This not about Trump. This is about truth, and it is something we are too meek to face up to.
I understand what you’re saying, Mark. I believe the Lord will come back and do what we can’t. I also believe no one gets any power unless given to them by the lord, meaning he picks who the President will be. He needs to get things done before he can return. Donald Trump was elected President in 2016 because our Lord gave him that position. Trump did things no other man would have been able to do. If he is to be President again, then he will be. If another is chosen, that’s who the lord gave it to. No matter what we do his plan will go first. Thanks for the comment.
Cant argue with that.
Thank you!
” If Trump wants to win back support, he must listen to the people and give them what they want.”
Trump started building the wall to stop illegals crossing and reduce drugs smuggling across the border. Now we have an open border, or no border.
Under Trump we had 1% inflation, booming economy, energy independence, and low gas prices, three conservative Supreme court justices, and NO WARS.
I assume most rational people want these.
So what are the people saying that Trump must listen to?
“Yes, it may have been stolen from him, but nothing can be done about it now….”
Actually, what can be done is admitting what you just said- there were irregularities, largely engineered by democratic officials in democrat jurisdictions, that call into question the legitimacy of the election. As it currently stands, legacy media almost exclusively attach the word “false” to Trump’s claim of election fraud.
Only Dems can claim that an election is not valid.
They did it with Bush in 2000,
And almost every Dem said that Trump’s win was because of Russia. Hakeem Jeffries, the new Dem majority leader, and many other Dems called Trump an illegitimate president.
