The Oath of Office for the President in Article 2, Sec 1, US Constitution reads:
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” The part we should be concerned with is “…preserve, protect and defend the Constitution…”
So tell me how these efforts from POTUS uphold that oath.
A lot has been written about Joe opening our SW border to cartels, over 2 million known migrants, human trafficking, and untold amounts of fentanyl poison. NY Post, 3/2022 and 2/2023. But read this article if you think the cartels are only in Mexico.
In Civics we learned the Constitution is the supreme law of the land. Why then does Joe want to sign away our responsibility to manage a pandemic to the WHO, which failed miserably during COVID? Think not? You might want to read this.
And then…you know…the thing that happened January 6. Some call it an insurrection. Really? It was if you only listened to the Select Committee—or Thom Tillis. But Chairman Thompson admitted that no Committee member watched the tapes. Only some staffers.
Speaking of January 6, why do Schumer and McConnell not want the tapes released? Censure from the Senate? Ignoring the First Amendment? “Democracy Dies In Darkness” (Washington Post slogan) Let the American people decide.
And why did the government withhold these tapes from the Jan6 prisoners and their attorneys? A 1963 SCOTUS ruling makes this illegal (Brady v Maryland, 373 US 83). So how is Joe upholding federal law and defending the Constitution’s Sixth Amendment relative to the prisoners held a year or more in the DC jail? If there was proof of an “insurrection” they’d be tried and convicted already. Those who assaulted Capitol Police or destroyed property should be tried immediately. Just as police who used excessive force on civilians should be tried or disciplined. But wasting the court’s time on people who simply wandered around non-violently? Low-level trespass.
C’mon man.

Insightful points,well-written. I like the questions to the reader. Short sentences give a good rhythm. Witty.
