More Misdirection From CDC About Covid

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence has released the declassified COVID-19 origins report to members of Congress. The nine-page report on the “Potential Links between the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the Origin of the COVID-19 Pandemic” analyzed the U.S. intelligence community’s understanding of the Wuhan, China-based institute at the center of the theory that the pandemic could have come from a lab leak, including its capabilities and actions of its personnel, the summary of the report said. 

This report does not address the merits of the two most likely pandemic origins hypotheses, nor does it explore other biological facilities in Wuhan other than the WIV,” it said. The report was declassified in response to the COVID-19 Origin Act of 2023, which President Biden signed in March, requiring government information on what may have led to the pandemic to be declassified. 

This document looks to me like it has been designed to be highly misleading.The report states that ODNI “released the declassified COVID-19 origins report”. This language would seem to be telling us that there was an existing classified report which has now been been declassified and released. But when documents are declassified, they don’t edit the content of the document, they redact the classification markings and any remaining classified content.

But this document is dated June 2023, indicating that it did not exist prior to June 2023. Did someone created a classified document in June 2023, and then immediately declassified it? Not likely.If this was a pre-existing document, it has been edited. But if you are going to edit a document for re-release, why not edit out all the unnecessary classification markings as well? These inconsistencies tell me that the document is a fake, and was created to have the appearance of being a declassified document.
