A few years ago I was talking online about Chinese software defined radios. (SDR) These are cheap, flexible, programmable devices, already widely available on ebay or Amazon (Baofung is one brand)
They operate on pretty much any band, and aren’t restricted to licensed frequencies via simple and intentional hacks.
Because of this, and because they are intended to allow encryption, and easily incorporate frequency hopping, spread spectrum (FHSS), they can be difficult to detect, intercept, decrypt, or jam.
Bring in the drones…

Over the last few years, numerous American sites have been subject to “drone storms” involving advanced devices…Air Force bases, Naval bases, ships at sea, nuclear power plants and more.
Well, these things weren’t operating on normal, licensed, drone frequencies, bore no identification, and their actions were intentional, provocative and organized.
And they were operating with motherships + trailing small drones. This suggests dispersed control and an ability to act even if the ground control station was disrupted.
Who is doing this? Well, it could be domestic defense contractors operating in secrecy, but local responses and subsequent investigative efforts suggest otherwise.
All those military age male chinamen streaming across our southern border aren’t here to work at Panda Express.
Their links to the CCP may be denied, but consider that to leave China, they require money, an exit permit, passport, and visa to an arrival nation…none of which are granted without both they and their family have adequate “Social Credit” and are in good standing with the CCP.
Add to that highly organized Chinese government supported operations to move Chinese illegals from Peru and Colombia, across the Darien Gap far north into Mexico.
And, of course, the CCP is deeply partnered with the Mexican drug cartel controlled government for importation and distribution of Fentanyl and precursors for methamphetamine.
Illegal Chinese in the USA are often hosted and based at widely proliferating Chinese dope farms…often in rural areas within drone range of Military bases.
Offutt, Altus, Whiteman, NORAD, Beale, Eglin, Hickam, Barksdale, Andrews, Tinker, Norfolk, San Diego, Miramar, Bremerton, Lemoore, Whidbey, and other sites including major defense contractors and nuclear power plants have experienced drone incursions and most had nearby Chinese dope farms raided.
How do we counter this?
Round them up, obviously. Extract information by any necessary means. They are CCP spies and sappers, not subject to Geneva Convention protections.
And establish widespread, basic anti-drone protection over critical sites.
If you’re familiar with “Top Golf” facilities, you’ve seen the huge nets that backstop their driving ranges. This would stop almost any smaller drones, and likely even larger ones.
Time to start stringing nets, distributing EMP guns and shotguns to 247/365 security at high value sites, military, industrial, infrastructure, and civil.
Don’t underestimate this threat…many sources state there’s 10,000…YES…TEN THOUSAND…drones airborne simultaneously over Russia/Ukraine at any particular time. And that’s in an area not much larger than North Carolina.
Imagine a coordinated, simultaneous, drone attack here, with little more than grenades and modified artillery shells as used widely in Ukraine.
Target Air Force bases, Naval and USMC Air Stations, ships and submarines in port, communication facilities, electrical substations, powerplant transformer yards, bridges, river locks, port facilities, industrial sites, water supplies and your first strike “death of 1000 cuts” has done incredible damage that cannot be quickly recovered from.
And, of course, China is already proven unopposed and willing to deploy biological warfare agents they co-developed with Fauci and his cronies.
It is time to act.
If every office, store, hotel, and hospital in the country could erect plexiglass shields at every door, desk, counter and podium within weeks of covid striking, basic droneproofing is equally attainable.
Beyond that, every piece of critical infrastructure should be protected.
During WWII, aircraft factories in Long Beach and Burbank had fake “neighborhoods” on their roofs, camouflaging the facilities.
Local “panic button” GPS Jammers, EMP emitters, and kinetic devices should be widely distributed at these sites in addition to the quick, easy and inexpensive addition of netting to deny drone access.
Consider that the loss of just one F-35 is a $100m “hit” that cannot be replaced in a timely manner.
Imagine a mortar round hitting the top of a SSBN docked in port.
A swarm blanketing Barksdale with grenades, damaging almost every B-52 we have in inventory.
Norfolk or San Diego? You don’t need to put holes in the hulls of ships…just a bunch of shrapnel hitting antennas, arrays, cables and deck-mounted weaponry will do the trick.
Lastly, today this really is all Chinese. Every battlefield drone in both Russia and Ukraine, even if the chassis is built (assembled) locally, uses electronic controllers designed and built in China…sometimes with key components sadly made in USA.
ONE CHINESE COMPANY DOMINATES OVER 75% OF THE GLOBAL DRONE MARKET!!!
