Over the past century, a deliberate and insidious strategy has been implemented to erode the foundations of American society. This transformation, spanning generations, has undermined the core values of private property, religion, and marriage—three pillars essential to resisting collectivist and authoritarian ideologies. Marxist principles, adapted to fit American culture, have infiltrated nearly every facet of public and private life, promoting division, dependency, and moral decay. What was once subtle and gradual has now become an unapologetic movement to reshape the nation’s values, norms, and beliefs. This 100-year war to destroy America has unfolded through a strategic process targeting the country’s cultural foundations, youth, unity, freedom of expression, and historical legacy.
The first step in this strategy was to dismantle America’s traditional foundations, specifically the family and the institution of marriage. Since the 1930s, the stability of the nuclear family has been steadily undermined. Divorce rates have risen, traditional marriage has declined, and society has shifted toward individual autonomy over familial responsibility. Family structure, once the cornerstone of American life, has weakened, leading to increased dependency on the state. This breakdown of family ties is not accidental—it’s a calculated step to create individuals more reliant on government support than on the support of their families, reducing resistance to state power and control.
The second step was to target the minds of the youth. Since the 1960s, American education has increasingly embraced progressive and collectivist ideals, shifting focus from traditional American values toward social justice and equity narratives. Public school curricula now often prioritize identity politics and systemic oppression theories over individual agency and responsibility. Through such programs, students are taught to see society through lenses of grievance and division, fostering resentment instead of respect for differing viewpoints. This systematic shaping of young minds prepares each generation to accept ideological conformity over critical thinking, ensuring a steady transformation toward a collectivist worldview.
A third tactic in this strategy has been to divide society along lines of identity, creating tribes of “oppressed” and “oppressors.” In recent decades, identity politics have redefined American culture, focusing on race, gender, and other categories that foster division rather than unity. This tribal mindset, rooted in Marxist “class struggle” but adapted to modern social identities, pits groups against one another, instilling a sense of perpetual victimhood and grievance. By promoting a worldview in which society is inherently oppressive, this tactic undermines the American ideal of unity in diversity, creating a fractured population easier to control and manipulate.
The fourth tactic in this century-long war has been to weaponize language, enforcing ideological conformity through censorship and self-censorship. In the 21st century, terms like “hate speech,” “microaggressions,” and “safe spaces” have transformed language into a tool for social control, discouraging free expression and labeling dissenting viewpoints as harmful or dangerous. This weaponization of words prevents open debate and fosters an environment of fear, where individuals are wary of speaking out or challenging dominant narratives. By policing language, the architects of this strategy stifle opposition and make it difficult for the public to push back against the ideological shift.
The fifth and final tactic has been to erase and rewrite American history. Across the country, the historical narrative is being systematically altered, particularly in educational settings. Historical figures, monuments, and foundational documents are reinterpreted or removed, and critical reinterpretations like the 1619 Project seek to reshape America’s founding story. By focusing on the country’s flaws over its achievements, this selective retelling weakens national pride and instills a one-sided view of history. This erasure is essential to breaking the nation’s collective identity, creating a vacuum that can then be filled with new, divisive ideologies that lack historical grounding.
Through these five stages—eroding family and marriage, targeting youth, dividing society, weaponizing words, and erasing history—America’s ideological transformation has been gradual yet relentless. The architects of this shift have understood the power of culture and education to reshape society, crafting a strategy that brings about change so incrementally that few notice until it’s nearly complete. Today, this 100-year war has brought us to a point where Marxist-rooted ideologies are not only present but celebrated, creating a society that values collectivism over individual freedom, dependency over self-reliance, and division over unity.
This century-long strategy is a sobering reminder of the power of sustained ideological influence. By understanding and exposing these tactics, Americans can work to counteract this transformation and restore the foundational principles of personal freedom, family, and unity. Recognizing this war on American culture is the first step toward preserving the nation’s ideals and resisting the forces that seek to undermine them. As history has shown, societies that abandon their core values are left vulnerable to authoritarian control—something we must guard against if we wish to preserve America’s legacy of liberty.
