Most remember the airline hijackings spanning the late 1960s and early 1970s. The peak of hijackings (1968-1972) was dubiously dubbed by history as the “Golden Age of hijacking.” At the peak, airplanes were hijacked at a rate of nearly one per week. The act was termed “air piracy.”
Heroic responses are etched into history’s chronicles, and evil is etched into the narratives.
There is a maddening repetition in civilization. The national rise-and-fall pattern is the common thread. Mankind never learns; never studies; never accepts reality. Mankind always embraces a delusional blindness. This blind eye excuses, embraces, and enjoys a fancied invincible hubris. The cyclical repetition is amazing. A nation’s “rise and fall” is not Rome’s exclusivity.
How does this happen? Why are citizens complacent regarding their nation’s existence?
The foreigner comes with the abominations of his country. The alien brings a determined resolve NOT to assimilate in culture’s dress, religion, mores and ethics. The inevitable consequence is that the “foreigner over” the citizenry, corrupts, disregards, and replaces the nation’s Rule of Law.
