Penn State’s necessary correction

For years, Penn State wanted to forget Joe Paterno. The statue outside Beaver Stadium was removed. His name disappeared from places where it once stood prominently. Public discussion of his legacy became so uncomfortable that many simply avoided the subject. In the aftermath of the Jerry Sandusky scandal, Penn State understandably sought distance from one …

Flock Cameras Violate Our Constitutional Rights To Privacy… Or Do They???

Twenty-three years in an Army uniform, a decade running an ambulance, four kids, and a piece of mail from the City of Cleveland accusing me of a hit and run I did not commit. I am not retelling that story here. I already spent an entire article on it, and if you missed it, go find it. What I will tell you is what happened after that article went up.

Good Bye Reagan National: Convenience Is No Longer Worth the Risk

Reagan National was a perfectly reasonable airport when it opened in 1941. Eighty-five years later, we’ve packed commercial jets, military helicopters, presidential transportation, restricted airspace and national-security missions into the same tiny patch of sky—and the warning signs are getting difficult to ignore. After 67 deaths, an emergency airspace redesign, repeated communications failures and a Marine One separation incident, perhaps the problem isn’t the latest procedure or antenna. Perhaps Washington’s convenience has simply outlived the acceptable risk.

The Greatest Generation Didn’t Have A Port Call Scheduled

The Greatest Generation didn’t have Wi-Fi, DoorDash, FaceTime, scheduled port calls—or an expected return date. They had a war to win. Today’s sailors aren’t the problem; they’re products of a culture that has become extraordinarily good at eliminating discomfort. The question isn’t whether young Americans are “soft.” It’s whether America still teaches resilience before history demands it the hard way.

The Pacific Ocean doesn’t have an HR department, and the enemy doesn’t care about your deployment schedule.

Trump Administration Domestic Policy Accomplishments: October 2025 – July 2026

Last November, an article was posted that summarized Trump Administration Accomplishments in 2025 through October. At that time, President Trump had just signed the One Big Beautiful Bill into law, brokered a string of ceasefires, and was 9 months into what was shaping up to be one of the most consequential presidencies in American history.

God’s Divine Hand of Protection

Another year has gone by. I had another birthday August 21st, and I’m feeling my age, as chronic pain has now seriously limited my mobility. I’m seeking medical help, and of course, praying for direction as to how to deal with it. And I recently had a procedure done that I’m hoping will help. But we’ll see. God Himself is the only real healer, and it’s up to Him as to whether or not this “thorn in the flesh” of mine will be removed.

The Worms………

THE WORMS

Without eyes to see or ears to hear
The worms have only hunger.
They have a single purpose
To gorge themselves on plunder.

You think they care if they destroy
What others gave their lives to build?
Or that they respect the flesh they eat?…
Now – watch them take their fill.

Without logic, without love,
The worms will simply eat.
When all is fallen and consumed
Their work is now complete.

All worms are not beneath the soil.
In our midst, they will despoil
What is good and what is fine,
What is true, what is divine.

Don’t seek to reason with the worms,
It is a futile task
– Just decide if you will fight –
Or be consumed at last!

California’s Stop Nick Shirley Act Aims to Outlaw Fraud Investigations by the Press

"Stop Nick Shirley Act" Will Protect Foreign Nationals, NGOs Who Steal Tax Money

I don’t know many journalists who have been so effective at uncovering government fraud that lawmakers in one state are going to extraordinary lengths to pass a new law that would essentially criminalize investigative journalism and make it illegal to investigate fraud there. Then there’s Nick Shirley

Fixing The Golf Rift Between The Professional Golf Association And the Renegade LIV/Saudi Arabia Sovereign Wealth Fund Imbroglio: A Solution For The Supporting Public Part 3

Which Arnold Palmer wanted nothing to do with. In truth it was an ill-thought-through idea that would not demonstrably benefit the members of the most dominant tour in the world that all golfers aspired to that Palmer had been instrumental in building, the PGA tour: Why mess with a winning formula?
