Happy Birthday American Free News Network

 

My! How time does fly when you are having fun! As hard as it is to believe, today marks the 1-year anniversary of when American Free News Network went live and began to push back against the censorship of Big Tech and the legacy media.

 

As most of you know, AFNN was created to be a voice apart from the legacy media and social media platforms, all of which were susceptible to financial coercion by advertisers. Except for the occasional “hired gun“ software engineer or legal eagle we contract with to do the things we cannot do ourselves, everyone including yours truly, is an unpaid volunteer.

 

Over the past year we have produced almost 2,000 items of quality, original content. Our volunteer writing team has over 70 members from all walks of life. We have senior military officers, former government officials, oil field and electrical engineers, college professors, attorneys, chemists, mathematicians, farmers, police officers, business owners, CEO’s…and more…all of whom have given freely of their time to make this effort a success.

 

Today is a great day to recognize all our stellar crew who have supported liberty and free communication by writing great content. We also want to thank those of you who read our product and forward it on to other like-minded Americans. Last but not least, we wish to thank those of you who have dug into your own wallets and donated some of your hard-earned treasure to help us pay for web hosting services and the contractors mentioned above.

As you can see, the job isn’t finished. We still have a lot of work to do. With the midterms looming, it is more important than ever that we continue to publish information the legacy media won’t.

This coming year, we are looking to expand the capabilities of our platform by offering audio and video podcasts to reach that segment of America that gets their information through those media. This will require some help from contractors, so your continued financial support will be gratefully welcomed. As always, we are on the lookout for new writing talent, and we respectfully solicit your help in that regard. It’s going to be a great Year Two. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
