I just completed a drive from Orlando to Lancaster County, PA, and back. Every time I tried to listen to the news, Savanah Guthrie was all I heard about. Nothing about talks with Iran, Fascist extremism in Minnesota, or any other important world events. This kidnapping is sad, but kidnappings happen all the time. If my wife had been kidnapped, the world wouldn’t care, but someone because it involves a woke celebrity, it dominates the news for over a week. That’s shameful.
