A man is well judged by the company he keeps. We need to keep asking Pete Buttigieg why he keeps the company of a pedophile.
The objective media </snicker> has a habit of praising radical Democrats as the greatest thing since other radical Democrats. FDR, LBJ, etc. History has shown reality is not needed for this praise.
In 2004, an unaccomplished former Illinois state senator and community organizer made the keynote address to the Democrats in Boston MA. The fact Barrack Obama took two Ivy League degrees and could show nothing of accomplishment with them denotes how deeply the Ivy League has fallen. In all honesty, getting into them is not for education, but for connections. His incompetence was irrelevant, Obama was the future of the Democratic Party, “the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.”
Naturally the 4th Estate commenced its idol worship on him, rarely asking any substantial question of the man, his qualification to be president of a HOA, much less the United States, and his plans for his presidency. They needed to support the party and they did, helping to put forth a disastrous two terms of Obama (the current third term is making a run for the worst of the three).
Therefore, after two terms of Obama, it was Mrs. Bill Clinton’s turn as the Dear Leader of the United States. I rarely recall anyone asking serious questions of Mrs. Clinton’s Carpetbagging into New York or her complete lack of accomplishment in eight years as the “junior” senator from New York. A friend did some quick research and found Mrs. Bill Clinton introduced all of three bills in eight years as a senator. Not exactly a legislative juggernaut.
Someone actually did ask Mrs. Clinton of her accomplishments as Secretary of State. With a serious deer in the headlights look, Mrs. Clinton could only mumble about flying “over a million miles” (I am sure a large number of them were intoxicated) supporting thinks like women’s rights, etc. AFNN Editor Mike Ford made the point perfectly, “The only person that’s an accomplishment for is the pilot!”
Fortunately, Mrs. Bill Clinton actually believed the bull put out by her sycophants and though she would walk into a Blue Wave election. Thankfully for the United States, and the world, she let her hubris get the better of her and she will never be close to the Oval Office. Now who is the next Great Leader to bring us to a socialist paradise? Why, it’s none other than the Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. He fills all the boxes. Buttigieg the next “First” in the presidency. Obama was the first (half) black president, Mrs. Bill Clinton would have been the first woman (Is that true? How do they define Mrs. Bill Clinton as a “woman?”), but we dodged a serious bullet with that. But Pete would bring a refined man’s discriminating taste with a great lady’s view of the drapes.
You know the 4th Estate is ready to organism over the first “First Gentlemen” being married to another man. Can you image the softball interview they would get. The fact Buttigieg accomplished little as mayor of a small city did not stop the Obamas (excuse, Biden…) from bringing him in as Transportation Secretary, in spite of having almost no experience with transportation issues (he was a consultant on logistics for McKinsey & Company, a managing consulting firm). His most famous accomplishment as Secretary of Transportation so far is being out of his office after he and his husband adopted two boys.
But as Joe “Come on man!” Biden’s mental and physical facilities decline (like they were actually there to begin with), Buttigieg is being hosted as the next great thing. With that in mine, why isn’t this being questioned. His relations with a convicted child porn distributer.
Patrick Wojahn, the former mayor of College Park, Maryland, and a favorite of leftists, was forced to resign in March as child pornography allegations swirled around him. He claimed he did so to address “mental health” issues…
…He was arrested the next day. This week, he learned his fate when he was sentenced to 30 years in prison for possessing and distributing child sex abuse materials…
…In August, Wojahn, 48, pleaded guilty to 140 counts related to possessing and distributing child sex abuse materials, according to court records. The charges contained in the indictment included both misdemeanors and felonies, some of which have penalties of a maximum of 10 years in prison.
Prince George’s County Circuit Judge Karen H. Mason sentenced Wojahn to 150 years in prison, suspended after 30 years when he will have to serve a term of probation of five years. If he violates probation, he could return to prison for the additional theoretical 120 years, the Baltimore Sun reported. Wojahn will also have to register as a sex offender.
It isn’t expected that Wojahn will have to serve anywhere close to 30 years in prison since those convicted of “non-violent” crimes are eligible for parole after serving only 25% of their sentence…
Agreed. By federal law, convicted pedophiles must be kept in segregated population for their own protection. Everyone knows they are dead men in general population. From the article, the former Democratic mayor had over videos and images of over 500 children on his cell phone. With Democrats these days, that’s just a resume enhancer.
Mr. Wojahn was in his “second term as mayor before being charged and had previously served eight years on city council.” He is also “a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center.” Again, the Ivy League has gone down.
In a gushing description of Buttigieg as his mentor, Wojahn said:
“I actually met Mayor Pete Buttigieg shortly after I was elected mayor in 2015,” Wojahn told the Washington Blade, a gay news site in 2019. “I went to the U.S. Conference of Mayors’ Winter Meeting in D.C. in January, and he was assigned to be my buddy.”
“I now serve in a leadership role as vice chair of city livability and bicycling in part due to his mentorship,’ Wojahn told the paper.
Now should we give Mr. Buttigieg the benefit of the doubt he knew nothing about Mr. Wojahn’s criminal behavior? Well, how about we extend the presumption of innocence Democrats like to extend to others, namely Republicans.
“Objective” journalist and other leftist activists continually tried to tie Donald Trump to David Duke, former KKK officer in Louisiana, and candidate for governor in 1991. Trump was in the Reform Party for a time, but left after they allowed Duke in. “The Reform Party now includes a Klansman, Mr. Duke, a neo-Nazi, Mr. Buchanan, and a communist, Ms. Fulani,” he said in his statement. “This is not company I wish to keep.”
“Objective” journalist and other leftist activists continually said President Trump had “colluded” with the Russians to steal the presidency from the “woman” (dammit, I keep forgetting we can’t use that term anymore) for whom the presidency was hers by the divine right of kings. Even after tens of millions were spent on an “investigation” that showed nothing, at most less than a million dollars spent on computer bots. If that was enough to override Democratic cheating in 2016, Mrs. Bill Clinton was a more pathetic candidate than I thought.
“Objective” journalist and other leftist activists continually call any criticism of Obama racism, any criticism of Mrs. Bill Clinton “anti-woman” (dammit, there I go again with that term) and misogynistic, any criticism of militant Islamic “Islamophobia,” and support of Israel being against Palestinians or Palestine (although they can’t define what those two terms are themselves).
I don’t recall Mr. Buttigieg being asked to defend his association with Mr. Wojahn. Well, seeing if the current Secretary of Transportation was a Republican and had pictures of himself with a GOP mayor recently convicted pedophilia, that would be the only question asked by every news agency out there. So in the interest of equity, let us ask Mr. Buttigieg why he supports pedophilia.
It’s only fair. Or should I use that four letter “F” word?

If the distinguished Mr Buttigieg ever becomes the Democratic nominee for President, the Republican candidate will not have to mention his hobnobbing with a pervert, but you can bet your bottom euro that it will be publicized on blogs and social media — if, of course, we still have our freedom of speech and of the press by that time — so it won’t remain a secret. I would hope that there are opposition researchers scouring every scrap of paper and every computer connection the Secretary of Transportation has ever touched.
25% of 30 years is still 7½ years, and if Mr Buttigieg is anywhere close to being a candidate, and the Democrats have any say over the matter, Mr Wojahn will not be paroled, at least until after the 2028 election. That way, anyone who brings it up will meet the obvious response, “Not only did Pete not know about his acquaintance’s child pornography habit, but Mr Wojahn is still in prison, and will be for decades more.”
This is the part I do not get: Judge Mason certainly knew that Mr Wojahn would eventually become eligible for parole, so why did she impose the huge 150 years, but suspend so much of it that he might still be able to get out when he’d be only 55 or 56 years old? If she hadn’t suspended all but 30 years, and he was eligible for parole after serving 25%, he’d still be able to eventually get out of jail, but not until he was 85 years old, and, at least in theory, no longer a danger to anyone.
More, why limit the post incarceration probation to just five years? This
manperson should never be off probation if he ever does get out.
