Musk’s evolving bromance with Trump has seen them engage more frequently, with Musk reportedly helping to spearhead a project to thwart voter fraud—a perennial issue in Trump’s rhetoric. Musk’s endorsement came hot on the heels of the assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania, where he lauded Trump’s toughness and resilience, drawing a parallel to Theodore Roosevelt.

Adding a layer of philanthropy to his political maneuvering, Musk donated $100,000 to a GoFundMe campaign sanctioned by Trump, aimed at aiding the victims of the rally shooting. The grim incident left one attendee dead, having heroically shielded his wife and daughter, and injured two others.
