Liberal Heads Explode Over Trump’s Tour de Force in NYC

Between the image of former President Donald Trump pumping his fist in the air and telling supporters to “fight, fight, fight” as blood from a gunshot wound dripped from his ear, and the magnificent Republican National Convention that followed, Trump was poised for one heck of a bounce in the polls. Unfortunately, these potent events were instantly eclipsed by the news that President Joe Biden was dropping out of the race. The simultaneous launch of Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign instantly dominated the news cycle, and the assassination attempt and the triumphant convention that followed were quickly forgotten.

After 18 months of campaigning against Biden, Trump had been caught flat-footed. He watched helplessly as Democrats and their propaganda arm, the legacy media, elevated a candidate once considered to be so weak as to be a “drag on the ticket” to rockstar status.

Be that as it may, Trump may have resurrected the magic of the convention week with his tour de force on Sunday night at New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden. From start to finish, the electricity inside the venue, the positive messages of the speakers, and yes, the genuine love for the former president by so many Americans, was palpable. No matter how hard the Left tries to spin this as a Nazi rally, the strength of this powerful, patriotic, historic occasion cannot be diminished.

But they certainly did try.

During the event, MSNBC’s chyron read: “Trump’s MSG rally comes 85 years after pro-Nazi rally at famed arena.” The network informed viewers that “like Nazis 85 years ago, Trump is turning Madison Square Garden into a staging ground for extremism.”

A headline at NBC read, “Trump’s Madison Square Garden event turns into a rally with crude and racist insults.” Another read, “As Trump courts their vote, comedian at his rally makes racist jokes about Latinos and Puerto Rico.”

Not to be outdone, the Democratic National Committee projected the message “TRUMP PRAISED HITLER” outside the Madison Square Garden building. Later, they switched their message to “TRUMP=UNHINGED.”

Naturally, The New York Times hopped on the bandwagon. Describing the event as “A Closing Carnival of Grievances, Misogyny and Racism,” the Times wrote: “The inflammatory rally was a capstone for an increasingly aggrieved campaign for Donald Trump, whose rhetoric has grown darker and more menacing.”

The legacy media even took aim at an artist, Scott LoBaido, who did a live painting at the event while “America the Beautiful” played in the background. The press instantly made a connection between LoBaido and Hitler, whom you may recall, also painted.

Thousands of events have been held at the storied arena since the 1939 Nazi rally. MSG is the home of the New York Knicks and the New York Rangers. “Countless other sporting events, from boxing to rodeo to dog shows” take place there. I recall attending the Ice Capades as well as the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus there as a child.

Apparently Democrats have forgotten that their party nominated Presidents John F. Kennedy, Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton at MSG.

Democrats and the media truly beclowned themselves over this rally. They know that Harris’s momentum stalled at the worst possible time and that Trump has made up a lot of ground over the past three weeks. Trump has also dominated the headlines for the past week. His brief stint as a fry cook at the Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania, McDonald’s last weekend caused a liberal meltdown which kept the story alive for days. Next, his successful and widely reported three-hour interview with top podcast host Joe Rogan on Friday was viewed by tens of millions of voters. And Trump’s rally at MSG was the coup de grace.

As much as the Left refuses to acknowledge it, something powerful, historic, and real occurred at MSG on Sunday night that the Democrats’ desperate propaganda machine won’t be able to overcome. Harris’s forthcoming bitter, negative closing address on the Ellipse will fall flat as she is revealed for the total fraud she is.

Trump needs a decisive victory next Tuesday to drive a stake right through the heart of the toxic ideology that has hijacked the Democratic Party and his tour de force on Sunday night will go a long way toward making that happen.
