My long-time friend and fellow author, Kip Meyerhoff, recently published Deadly Justice, the 4th book in his series of private investigator adventures. If you like slam-bang cop-type stuff, this is for you. Kip is a retired LAPD Watch Commander, living in Vevay, IN.
For his next book, his P.I. character, Rollo Michaels, will be interacting with the P.I. character, Sander Rachman – the name I used in my fictional private detective stories. In other words, while solving crimes and surviving lethal force incidents, his P.I. will be involving my P.I. Though fictional, the stories are based on our respective police/P.I. real encounters, practices and locations.
Excerpts:
Rollo Michaels:
“On your knees!” one barked! “Hands up!” shouted another.
“Hey guys, I’m the victim here,” I said.
“We’re not all guys,” Officer Hands Up said. “Raise your hands”
Her partner, the On Your Knees guy, asked, “You carrying?”
“Right-hand pocket….”.
Sander Rachman:
I knew the iron bar was coming, knew I couldn’t back away in time, knew I had to get my gun out and that the man meant to kill me. …I couldn’t understand why was it taking so long to extract the 2 ½ inch Diamondback from my hip holster?
