Here are some inventions the world truly needs.
1) An instant, portable lie-detector. Surely, if we can ID someone by fingerprints, DNA, eyeballs, voice… some enterprising Shark Tanker, maybe with the help of AI, can come up with an app that anyone can instantly tell if the person they’re pointing their smart phone at is telling the truth.
2) Ever see one of those giant, humongous mega dump trucks they use in strip mining? Perhaps they will make a bulldozer big enough to push all of what remains of Gaza into the Mediterranean. There should be enough to make a significant peninsula. Then a same-scale massive steamroller could squish it down creating new land.
3) States save their taxpayers money when they refuse to prosecute/imprison criminals. In other words, it’s a whole lot cheaper to let ‘em loose where the insurance companies pay for the physical damage and the citizens pay with their lives. Home incarceration with ankle bracelets are plagued with the inability of the courts to keep track of the perps. However, if the bracelet is connected to the internet then anyone (victims, police, neighbors) can check and report the wearer’s location. Only the violators of home incarceration will be sent to prison.
