The US is in the middle of a color revolution from within. The Seditious Six and their disgusting video that suborns sedition of serving members of the US military, as noted in this analysis, are just the latest and most visible players.
A color revolution is a coordinated, mostly non-violent mass protest campaign that uses a unified symbol (a color, flower, or fist) to overthrow an existing government and replace it with one seen as more pro-Western or democratic — usually triggered by a disputed election, led by youth movements and NGOs, and heavily amplified by media and foreign funding.
The classic hallmarks of color revolutions are contained in this single sentence: Big street protests plus catchy branding plus claims of stolen votes plus non-violent discipline plus Western-backed training and money will force the regime to step down or flee. Examples of color revolutions around the world include:
- Orange Revolution (Ukraine 2004)
- Rose Revolution (Georgia 2003)
- Tulip Revolution (Kyrgyzstan 2005)
- Black and Red Revolution (US 2016-present)
Let us examine the issue in some detail.
COLOR REVOLUTIONS
The Core Theory of color revolutions is “Politics as War by Other Means.” Political theorist Gene Sharp’s (1928-2018) central idea, as laid out in his 1973 magnum opus “From Dictatorship to Democracy” and the three-volume “The Politics of Nonviolent Action” in 1993, is that all political power ultimately depends on the obedience and cooperation of the governed. If a critical mass of people and institutions withdraw that consent in a disciplined and sustained way, even the most brutal regime collapses without firing a shot. Key theoretical pillars of color revolutions include:
- Power is not monolithic; it is pluralistic and dependent on “pillars of support” (military, police, civil service, media, business elites, religious leaders, youth, etc.).
- Violent repression strengthens dictators in the long run (creates martyrs, alienates pillars).
- Strategic non-violent defiance is more effective than armed struggle because it pulls pillars of support away from the regime and toward the opposition.
- Non-violence is not moral pacifism; it is a weapon system that must be wielded with strategy, discipline, and sequencing.
In 1973, Sharp produced “The 198 Methods of Nonviolent Action,” which is taxonomy for color revolutions ranging from symbolic protests (Method #1: public speeches) to economic shutdowns (#112: general strike) to parallel institutions (#172: establishing alternative government).
In 1993, Sharp wrote “From Dictatorship to Democracy,“ which is the literal playbook that was handed out by Western trainers in Serbia, Georgia, Ukraine, Egypt, etc, to foment color revolutions in those countries. It provides specific guidance for:
- Strategic planning sequence (assess weaknesses, choose grand strategy, conduct tactical planning, deploy cadre)
- How to attack each pillar of support of the targeted government to be replaced (law enforcement, institutions, media, etc.)
- How to neutralize government repression (so-called “dilemma actions” that force the regime to lose either way)
- How to maintain non-violent discipline under extreme provocation by the targeted government
This is a simplified version of the “Sharp Sequence” described in that 1993 book:
- Research and strategic planning (6–24 months)
- Train core cadres (usually 500–5,000 activists)
- Unite opposition under one brand/logo/color
- Mass mobilization plus parallel vote count (if election is the trigger)
- Defy repression non-violently to provoke government overreaction on camera
- Pillar defection (police refuse orders, military stands down)
- Regime collapse or negotiated exit
Here is a table that lists the various color revolutions that were informed by Sharp’s theories described above:
Note the Ukraine-Euromaidan color revolution in 2014. The Obama regime provided strong diplomatic, rhetorical, and financial support to the protesters and opposition during that color revolution, framing it as backing Ukraine’s democratic aspirations and European integration. This included sanctions on Ukrainian President Yanukovych’s regime, mediation in a failed power-sharing deal, and post-revolution aid. The Obama-directed support mirrored elements of Sharp’s non-violent regime-change doctrine (especially the part that emphasized withdrawing consent from regimes via civil society and elite defections) that were integrated into US foreign policy via “democracy promotion.”
Call it a test case that segued into the Black and Red color revolution in the US that began at Obama’s instigation in 2016.
THE BLACK AND RED REVOLUTION
The colors black and red were chosen to name the ongoing US color revolution because they are the two colors that are universally associated with Antifa, who are the “brownshirts” that provide the core foundation of revolution who conduct the street protests and other violence on demand. Black is the dominant color of Antifa aesthetics: black bloc clothing, black flags, black masks, black hoodies. “Black bloc” is the tactical uniform itself (all-black to hide identities and move as a mass). Red is the secondary color, especially found in their flags and symbols. A plain red-and-black flag (usually split diagonally or horizontally) is the most common Antifa flag. The red represents socialism/anarchism, the black represents anarchism/autonomy. Thus, black and red are the “colors of Antifa” and the color revolution in the US in the same way orange was the color of Ukraine’s 2004 revolution or rose was Georgia’s in 2003.
A key foundational component of the B&R cadre is Antifa who provide the “street muscle” in confronting DHS and law enforcement officers in the performance of their duties. As a result, Antifa’s goals of overthrowing the US government, abolishing law enforcement, and using violence to impose anarchist or socialist ideals on American society have been incorporated seamlessly into the B&R Revolution.
At present, the rest of the Black and Red (B&R) cadre are loosely organized, lacking a single leader or unified structure. This is a lesson-learned from the international Antifa activists who evolved into a distributed network instead of centralized organization to minimize coordinated law enforcement operations against them. That said, I believe that Obama’s compound in Washington, DC, is one of the headquarters nodes for the B&R cadre, especially with respect to coordinating the political elements of the color revolution (i.e., Democrats in Congress, Washington-based legacy media, DC-area thinktanks, and Deep State operatives – especially those in the CIA and intel community in general). The rest of the B&R cadre is a loose coalition of probably over 200 organizations that are funded by philanthropies, unions, and dark-money groups supported by Democrat politicians, Deep State apparatchiks, think tanks, academia, and the legacy media.
Per the Sharp Sequence, the Obama regime conducted strategic planning during 2016 for a potential Trump election victory. All the pieces of the process were in place: a corrupted intelligence community, an equally compromised Justice Dept and FBI, and a compliant media that was a-gaga over the possibility of the first woman president.
Many of these core cadres were already trained and functioning, especially in media influence operations. Former FBI Director James Comey is just the first of them to face the music regarding lying to Congress and releasing classified information to the media. Additional cadres associated with Antifa and BLM were brought into the fold throughout the first Trump administration. The BLM street riots in 2020 were intended to demoralize and destabilize Americans, as people watched aghast that Blue state riots were allowed without consequence to the violent perpetrators. Antifa and its organizers and funders now provide the backbone for No Kings protests and violence against DHS officers enforcing US immigration laws around the country, all of which are part of the B&R revolution.
A big part of the color revolution influence and destabilization operations from 2016 to the present was focused on trying to delegitimize President Trump in the eyes of the American people. Democrat lawfare and media cadres in the Black and Red Revolution led a campaign of hoaxes against the president that were intended to distract and “gum up the works” of the Trump presidencies. These hoaxes included the following:
- Russia Collusion Hoax
- Hands Up, Don’t Shoot Hoax
- Jussie Smollett Hoax
- Covington KKKids Hoax
- Very Fine People Hoax
- Seven-Hour Gap Hoax
- Global Warming Hoax
- Russian Bounties Hoax
- Trump Trashes Troops Hoax
- Policemen Killed at Mostly Peaceful January 6 Protest Hoax
- Rittenhouse Hoax
- Eating While Black Hoax
- Border Agents Whipping Illegals Hoax
- NASCAR Noose Hoax
- The Georgia Jim Crow 2.0 Hoax
- Trump Assaulted Secret Service Agents and Grabbed Steering Wheel of Beast Hoax
- MAGA Assaulted Paul Pelosi Hoax
- COVID Lab Leak Theory Is Racist Hoax
- Hunter Biden’s Laptop Is Russian Disinformation Hoax
- Joe Biden Will Never Ban Gas Stoves Hoax
- COVID Deaths are Overcounted Is a Conspiracy Theory Hoax
- Mass Graves of Native Children in Canada Hoax
- Trump Killed All the Fish Hoax
- Hamas Hospital Hoax
- John Fetterman Is Healthy Hoax
- If Reelected, Trump Will Execute People Hoax
- The Alfa Bank Hoax
Then there were the Democrat-orchestrated lawfare actions against President Trump by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, Fulton County DA Fani Willis, and Special Counsel Jack Smith plus the various DoJ frame jobs perpetrated against J6 protestors and Trump electors and supporters in various states.
These hoaxes and the concurrent caterwauling by the Democrat-media complex that “Trump is a criminal” stemming from those lawfare actions were dog whistles to the street cadre (Antifa) in ratcheting up the emotion and violence against Trump, his supporters, and his base. Unfortunately for the Black and Red cadres, all of the above hoaxes were eventually debunked and the two-tiered justice system that pursued only Trump and other Republicans was exposed, all of which served to educate the American people about the nefarious actions of the perpetrators and was one factor in President Trump’s resounding election victory in 2024. Even the “massive mobilization and protests” called for in the Sharp Sequence were exposed as low-number turnouts lacking energy and enthusiasm primarily by a bunch of old and paid white Baby Boomers.
The Black and Red color revolution shifted focus after the election to the US Congress where Democrats voted virtually in lockstep against all of Trump’s nominees and legislation in 2025, culminating in the longest government shutdown in US history because Senate Democrats refused to vote for a clean continuing resolution keep the government operating. But the Democrat resistance was known and understood by many by this time. Despite relentless legacy media gaslighting claiming Republicans were behind the shutdown, Americans overwhelmingly blamed Democrats for the shutdown.
Enter the next phase of the Black and Red Revolution: the video by the Seditious Six, which attempted to suborn sedition by serving members of the US military and ratchet up protests of Trump administration policies and associated actions to gain political advantage by undermining the authority of the President and his team. That video was characterized perfectly by an active duty US Army lieutenant colonel using the pseudonym “InfantryDort” on X:

I want to highlight a few lines from the recent video and the questions they raise. Not as a lawyer (I’m not one), but as someone who has spent a lifetime beside America’s fighting sons and daughters.
1. “Americans trust their military. But that trust is at risk.” This is not a civics reminder. It escalates immediately into urgency. Why is trust at risk? What specific event, order, or directive justifies that warning? From where we stand inside the force, no such threat has been identified.
2. “This administration is putting our uniformed military and intelligence community professionals against American citizens.” This is even more dramatic. It places service members on psychological alert for a confrontation that does not exist. And suggesting it does is profoundly destabilizing. Those in uniform are trained to sense danger in every shadow; planting imaginary threats is not leadership, it’s just unnecessary disorientation.
3. “We have your back.” How? If a service member refuses an order, the burden of proof rests entirely on that Soldier alone. They face investigation, potential court martial, and must personally bear the risk of being wrong. No Member of Congress can shield them from that crucible. This line offers a promise no civilian can keep. And gives a false sense of protection at the very moment when clarity matters most.
4. “Don’t give up the ship.” This is not a legal principle. It is a naval dying command spoken in the smoke and blood of battle. Using it transforms the message from a procedural reminder into a martial warning. As if troops must brace for a fight. How does that apply to a routine reminder about following lawful orders? It doesn’t. It injects fear, urgency, and defiance where none is warranted. When you put all of these lines together, the tone ratchets up again and again. From concern, to crisis, to confrontation, to combat.
And here’s what keeps me up at night, and I’m being serious: Young defenders of this nation are impressionable. They trust their leaders with EVERYTHING. They’re expected to run toward danger, charge machine gun nests, and act with honor in the worst moments a human can face. There is an innocence to them. A goodness that is hard to describe, but unmistakable when you look into their eyes. I fear that innocence is being used here. Not to protect them, but to plant seeds of doubt where no doubt needed to exist. And once doubt takes root in a young Soldier’s mind, it becomes a fracture line in the very institution that holds this country together. My personal opinion is I don’t like what I’m seeing. No flowery language. I just don’t.
That disgraceful video was a dog whistle to the likes of Rahmanullah Lakanwal, the Afghan national who shot two West Virginia National Guard soldiers in Washington, DC, the day before Thanksgiving. And some of the same people who cheered that Seditious Six video (and who are either core cadre or fellow travelers in the Black and Red Revolution) are now claiming that those Guardsmen wouldn’t have been shot had it not been for President Trump’s “illegal order” to deploy them to DC. Just because a radical Democrat judge or two (good B&R cadre that they are) think the deployment orders are illegal, doesn’t make them illegal. We can expect similar violent acts in the future, with B&R political and media cadre cheering them on.
As discussed here, “activist fronts sparking orchestrated unrest in places like Los Angeles through the protest-industrial complex, followed by scripted influence operations like the so-called “Seditious Six,” whose latest messaging pressures military and intelligence personnel to “refuse illegal orders” – without saying what illegal orders” – are part of the constant pressure being applied by the loose network of Black and Red operatives across the country. It will only get worse unless stopped through harsh measures.
CONCLUDING THOUGHTS
The Black and Red Color Revolution is well underway in the US. It’s aim – which has coopted Antifa’s mission to destroy our constitutional republic – is to delegitimize the Trump administration through Democrat lawfare, judicial tyranny, violent street protests, and coordinated Democrat-media influence operations aimed at gaslighting as many Americans as possible to support the B&R cadre’s various actions (“indigenous” street protests, No Kings marches, any and all calls to “resist the evil Trump,” public statements by Democrat political cadres in legacy and social media, etc.).
The dots are being connected about the various B&R Color Revolution cadres. For example, Jennica Pounds (better known as X sleuth “Data Republican”) noted that the Marxist “National Lawyers Guild issued a document about refusing illegal orders on 11 November. And now they have partnered with Win Without War to advertise seditious-adjacent behavior on billboards. And Win Without War has multiple Congressional liaisons on their ‘About’ page. National Lawyers Guild is an infamous supporter of antifa, which of course is now a foreign terrorist organization.
Pounds further noted that “Win Without War … links to EIN 27-0819099. It’s a small 501(c)(4) which seems to have been named New Security Action in the past. Open Society seems to be its major backer.” Note that the Open Society Foundation is George Soros’s main NGO for funding the color revolution actions of groups in the US that are focused on undermining America and the Trump administration, including the No Kings protests.
Finally, let us circle back to the Ukraine-Euromaidan color revolution to connect a few more important dots. The Open Society Foundations has deep ties to Ukraine dating back to 1990 through its affiliate, the International Renaissance Foundation (IRF)—the largest private funder of Ukrainian civil society. OSF’s involvement in Euromaidan focused on long-term support for NGOs, human rights, anti-corruption, and pro-EU integration efforts.
There is a straight line funded by OSF that connects Euromaidan to the B&R Revolution. The lessons-learned from Euromaidan have apparently been applied directly by OSF in its ongoing support for the color revolution in the US.
More to come as other B&R cadres are exposed, including all of the Deep State and legacy media connections, the massive USAID/US taxpayer funding of B&R NGOs like Soros’s OSF, dozens of Democrat politicians and others who are virtue-signaling in support of the Seditious Six, and much more
These people need to be confronted and dealt with harshly as the seditionists they all are.
The end.
