This is the eighth post in the ongoing weekly feature that highlights news and commentary on important geopolitical, cultural, and economic issues that the Democrat-media complex buries because they expose the hypocrisies associated with the continuing Marxist-Democrat narrative. Everything is properly sourced and linked for follow-up reading, whether from legacy media, independent sources, or social media.

No Assimilation in Dearborn! The Democrat-media complex hasbeen exacerbating tribalism in the U.S. for political purposes for years. This has included importing Muslims who are not interested in full cultural integration with other Americans. Dearborn, MI, has been ground zero for that tension. To wit, a federal lawsuit filed by journalist Margot Cleveland and the American Freedom Law Center accuses Dearborn, Michigan, Mayor Abdullah Hammoud and city officials of unconstitutional religious favoritism after the city spent taxpayer money on Ramadan banners and Islamic crescent-moon displays while allegedly ignoring or stonewalling requests to give Easter and Passover equal public recognition. The complaint claims this violates the First and Fourteenth Amendments, and it cites hostile official responses, including Hammoud calling a Christian pastor a “bigot” and “Islamophobe” and telling a Christian resident he was “not welcome” in the city.

The Art of the Deal Works Its Magic with Greenland (and Denmark). The Democrat-media complex and the EU have been downplaying President Trump’s past Truth Socials about a “Greenland deal” in the offing because they are reflexively anti-Trump. Thus, the only good descriptions of the September 22, 2026, U.S.–Denmark–Greenland security deal are in independent media. Technology entrepreneur, investor, and conservative commentator Rod D. Martin argues on his Substack that the deal is a Trump “masterstroke” that gives Washington perpetual rights in Greenland independent of NATO or Danish sovereignty, restores broader basing beyond Pituffik, and grants an absolute U.S. veto over non-NATO military access and strategic investment—permanently blocking China and Russia.
Martin says the larger significance is a sea change in American foreign policy: abandoning the assumption that alliances and international organizations last forever, planning instead for uncertainty after lessons such as Britain’s attempted Chagos/Diego Garcia transfer. Martin also suggests the deal could eventually make Greenland’s independence economically viable through U.S. bases and development, possibly via a Compact of Free Association, but insists Trump already secured the core strategic aims without a sovereignty transfer.

Affordability, Los Angeles-Style. The Democrat-media complex has made “affordability” a campaign issue this year while ignoring their own culpability in the myriad problems. Los Angeles is Exhibit No. 123 in that regard, but you won’t read about it in the legacy media! From Epoch Times courtesy of ZeroHedge: Realtor.com’s first Metro Affordability and Homebuilding Report Card ranked Los Angeles last (F, score 12) among the 100 largest U.S. metros, citing L.A.’s $1.129 million median list price, mortgage payments equal to 84.4% of median household income, and a permit-to-population ratio of just 0.47 versus Des Moines’ 1.85 (the top-ranked city). In the article linked below, Joel Berner attributed the gap mainly to restrictive zoning and permitting rather than land scarcity. Imagine that! The Modern Lynching Hoax Debunked. The Democrat Party has been using racist hoaxes for many election cycles to radicalize minority voters. Past examples include the burning of black churches circa 1996; the Jussie Smollett attack hoax in 2019; Obama’s Hands Up, Don’t Shoot hoax in 2017; and the Charlottesville “very fine people” claim in 2017. Perhaps the most enduring is the lynching hoax that plays on real hangings by the KKK but ascribed falsely to MAGA followers in recent years. Since that hoax – like the others – benefits Democrats at the polls, the legacy media amplify the false claims that are recurring this election cycle. In the Epoch Times, courtesy of ZeroHedge, Larry Elder argues that a letter from nearly 60 House Democrats urging the Justice Department and FBI to treat recent hangings of Black Americans as possible “modern-day lynchings” is a hoax contradicted by official findings that several high-profile cases—including Demartravion “Trey” Reed at Delta State University—were suicides with no evidence of foul play. In the article linked below, Elder cites CDC data showing far more white than Black deaths by hanging or suffocation in 2020, compares the panic to the 1990s Black-church-burning scare that investigators found was not a national racist conspiracy, and says Democrat leaders ignore what he calls the real “elephant in the room”: high rates of father-absent homes in Black communities and their effects on outcomes. Racism Exposed Inside the Democrat Party. The last refuge of a Democrat scoundrel who runs out of arguments in a debate is to label his opponent as a “racist.” Turns out that Democrats need to turn their ire in that regard on themselves. In a New York Post article that the legacy media has completely ignored, Former Democratic fundraiser Lindy Li writes that while helping lead Asian-American fundraising for Biden’s 2024 reelection, the party treated her as a racial caricature rather than an assimilated American: it parked her on the DNC Ethnic Council, lumped her with other “AAPI” donors who did not share her views, and at a Mayflower Hotel fundraiser she co-hosted sprung Chinese lion dancers that ate policy time and, she says, reduced guests to costume-pageant “otherness.” In the article linked below, he argues identity groups such as the AAPI Victory Fund, BLM, and similar PACs monetize access—selling $10,000–$100,000 photo-ops while their communities stay unchanged—and that Democrats recast old pay-to-play politics as social justice, excluding only white men from the hustle. Narco-terrorist Interdictions Continue Apace! The Democrat-media complex refuses to acknowledge any Trump administration successes during this campaign season because they are pushing for a “blue wave” this year (like always). One of those successes is summarized as follows, with an article linked below provided the latest tactical example. Since 2 September 2025, U.S. Southern Command’s Operation Southern Spear – now run through Joint Task Force–Western Hemisphere, with Coast Guard seizures and partner-nation help from Ecuador, El Salvador, Panama, and others – has publicly acknowledged roughly 67–78 lethal or mixed maritime actions against vessels it calls narco-terrorist go-fasts, low-profile boats, a semi-submersible, and floating refueling stations in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific, destroying on the order of 70 boats and killing about 227–234 people by late September 2026, plus a growing set of non-lethal boardings that hand crews to Ecuador. Administration officials say the campaign has cut suspected drug-vessel traffic by about 65% in the western Caribbean, 60% in the eastern Caribbean, and nearly 50% in key eastern Pacific lanes, and they credit FY2026 disruptions of roughly 348 metric tons of cocaine by U.S. strikes plus 189 tons by partners and billions in denied cartel revenue; critics note Coast Guard at-sea seizures have not always risen in tandem, street supply metrics are mixed, and the Pentagon has not released a full strike-by-strike evidence package.

Democrats Don’t Want the Crumbling Kennedy Center Repaired. President Trump has been on a tear in restoring Washington, DC, to its former glory. Here’s a list of them.
Completed or substantially finished:
- Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool — Resurfaced and tinted “American flag blue,” with a new filtration system; work wrapped around June 2026 (~$16 million). Some early peeling was reported after refill.
- Meridian Hill Park cascading fountain — Brought back into operation after years offline (White House highlighted this in May 2026).
- City fountain restorations — Broader National Park Service effort to restart neglected fountains ahead of the 250th anniversary (~$58 million in NYT tallies).
- White House interiors — Oval Office, Rose Garden (paved/hardscaped), West Colonnade, Palm Room, Treaty Room, Lincoln Bedroom and related decorative work; exact costs often unlisted.
In process or planned
- White House East Wing ballroom — Historic East Wing demolished; ~90,000 sq ft ballroom plus underground bunker/security work; administration has said the job is well along (one filing claimed ~65% done); cost estimates run $400 million+ and funding mix is disputed.
- Lafayette Square / President’s Park — Fencing and rehab of fountains, landscaping, and approaches to the White House (~$17 million, Clark Construction).
- National Garden of American Heroes — Statues, plazas, and an amphitheater at West Potomac Park (~$40 million); early-stage.
- Triumphal / Independence Arch near Arlington — ~250-foot arch; design approved by a Trump-aligned Fine Arts Commission; excavation discussed, groundbreaking not clearly underway.
- Eisenhower Executive Office Building repairs (~$7.5 million), statue gilding (~$5 million), East Potomac Golf Links rebuild, and a Lincoln Memorial Promenade.
Some of the renovation efforts, including the Kennedy Center, are being held up by court challenges from leftwing Democrats (and cheered on their legacy media sycophants). Congress appropriated about $250–257 million for leaks, systems, marble, and theaters; a full two-year closure is proposed and being legally contested, as described in the below-linked article. Never mind that the building is falling apart. The Democrat-media complex just can’t stand the Trump name showing up on “their” buildings in DC.

Professional Protest Class Recycled to Stop American AI. The Democrat Party has built a professional protest network in recent decades that has been used to further Democrat political objectives. Many of the advocates/protestors are themselves ignorant of the science involved in their arguments; they are also recycled to other issues/topics on demand. The last thing the Democrat-media complex wants is for ordinary Americans to learn that they are being influenced (hoodwinked) by a recycled paid protest network, as the below linked article discusses. To wit, the same professional protest class that cycled through climate, COVID, oil, and Gaza has now adopted AI extinction, marching from OpenAI to Anthropic and San Francisco City Hall (and outside Downing Street) under slogans such as “Stop the AI Race” and “10% chance of extinction? 100% chance of resistance” after Anthropic’s Evan Hubinger cited a greater-than-10% chance AI could “kill all humans” within a decade.
The climate hoax has run out of gas, so why wouldn’t the professional Democrat protestors switch over to another Democrat narrative (“stopping American AI development”)? Read more about it here:

Universities Refuse to Cut DEI. The Democrat-media complex cheered the Biden regime’s DEI policy implementation. It is no surprise that they are silent on President Trump’s policies that return hiring and promotions and college admissions to merit instead of Marxist DEI nonsense. On 21 January 2025, President Trump signed the executive order “Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity,” directing agencies to terminate race- and sex-based DEI preferences, require federal contractors and grant recipients—including colleges in Title IV student-aid programs—to certify they do not run illegal DEI programs, and have Education and Justice issue guidance implementing the Supreme Court’s Students for Fair Admissions ruling.
Schools that keep racial preferences in admissions, hiring, scholarships, or related programs risk investigations, loss of federal funds, and, under later contractor rules, contract cancellation or False Claims Act liability. Despite this EO and Supreme Court’s decision upholding it, universities continue to dodge the Supreme Court’s ban on racial preferences through rebranded programs and essay prompts, with a new example laid out in the below-linked article. Furthermore, Treasury is right to threaten tax-exempt status for race discrimination dressed as “equity,” and federal aid should be cut until universities obey the law and stop treating white and Asian applicants as the residual category.

Javier Milei Barbeques the UN. In Argentina the asado—a long, social barbecue of grass-fed beef over wood or charcoal—is less a cookout than a national ritual of family, friendship, and identity, often treated as the country’s unofficial Sunday mass. And President Javier Milei did an Argentine BBQ roast of the UN for the ages this past week, as laid out in the below-linked article. Milei said the organization had abandoned its founding ideals of peace, freedom, and human dignity and become “a useless organization whose only purpose is to sustain a caste of fatally arrogant parasites masquerading as well-intentioned bureaucrats.” thedailybs.com
He accused the U.N. of failing on security and human rights, indulging dictatorships and terrorism while targeting Israel, promoting pandemic lockdowns he called a “global experiment in social control,” and pushing gender, climate, regulatory, and migration agendas plus empty Falklands/Malvinas resolutions; Argentina will stay in useful forums, he said, but “cooperation” is not “subordination,” and Buenos Aires has chosen capitalism and alignment with the United States and Israel.

Mass Immigration Isn’t Good for Ordinary Americans After All. The Democrat-media complex has argued in recent years that mass immigration is good for America because newcomers fill labor shortages, start businesses, pay taxes, slow population aging, and enrich the country culturally while overall economic studies often find modest gains for native workers and GDP. Thus, it is no surprise that a recent article from Breitbart broke through the fog of that myth in a big way. Breitbart reported that a Brookings Institution paper on the post-pandemic immigration surge – the largest ever under a one-term president – finds the influx may have cut average wages for all workers by as much as 1.5% (as immigrants took lower-wage jobs) while pushing rents up 1.4–1.6%.
The below-linked article frames those figures as confirmation that Biden-era mass migration squeezed housing and pay, citing earlier Dallas Fed work linking unauthorized inflows to roughly 30% of local house-price growth and 20% of rent growth in 2021–24 and a HUD finding of higher costs for low-income Americans without aid. Cleaning Out Lefties in DoJ’s Civil Rights Division. The Obama and Biden regimes loaded up the Civil Rights Division with activist leftwing lawyers hell-bent on jamming DEI and other Marxist and racist policies down the throats of unsuspecting Americans. This was a major Democrat Party initiative that was cheered on by their legacy media sycophants. Needless to say, they will not report that Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon told the Hugh Hewitt Show about 300 of the Justice Department Civil Rights Division’s roughly 400 lawyers quit – “self-deported” – rather than carry out Trump priorities of ending illegal DEI and cleaning voter rolls, after which she hired more than 100 new attorneys.
This news was broken in the below-linked article in which she cited Bloomberg Law and prior Dhillon interviews, saying that the rebuilt office is suing over dirty rolls (reviews that found hundreds of thousands of dead or ineligible registrations), campus race discrimination after the Students for Fair Admissions decision by the US Supreme Court, antisemitism, and church blockades. She said that the old staff refused to pursue those cases because it treated Asian and white victims and election-integrity cases as real civil-rights issues. Read more about it here:

USSC Says Voter Verification System is in Play for the Mid-term Elections. Lastly, an extremely important decision was made on Friday that will potentially have a great effect on the upcoming mid-term elections. Election integrity advocates have been pushing for any and all measures to thwart Democrat efforts to permit illegal ballots being cast. The Democrat-media complex are beside themselves that the Supreme Court voted 6–3 on Friday to stay a D.C. district-court injunction and let states use USCIS’s upgraded SAVE system before the midterms. The approved process allows agencies to upload a name, date of birth, or partial SSN; SSA matches records; and DHS returns a citizenship confirmation or a request for more proof, after which unverified people must document citizenship to stay on the rolls.
The majority said 8 U.S.C. § 1373 likely overrides Privacy Act and Social Security Act limits on sharing citizenship data with DHS. Naturally, leftwing Democrat Justices Jackson, Sotomayor, and Kagan dissented in DHS v. League of Women Voters, arguing the program could disenfranchise lawful voters and that the government lacked authority. They know that it’s a big chink in the Democrats’ election fraud system that targets non-citizen voting.
