This is the tenth post in the ongoing weekly feature that highlights news and commentary on important geopolitical, cultural, and economic issues that the Democrat-media complex buries because they expose the hypocrisies associated with the continuing Marxist-Democrat narrative. Everything is properly sourced and linked for follow-up reading, whether from legacy media, independent sources, or social media.

The USAID Scandal Has a Domestic Sequel. USAID used development and “democracy” grants to fund leftwing NGOs, media outlets, and activist networks abroad to influence elections, censorship, and local politics, with Brazil under Bolsonaro and Lula cited as a leading case that is in the news lately. South American governments have shifted to the right across the continent now that USAID funding has been pulled. There are no such things as coincidences, and the Democrat-media complex avoid the topic like the plague.
Now we know why because there’s a domestic side to the scandal. A “domestic USAID” sends hundreds of billions of dollars to universities, labor unions, leftwing activists, and NGOs that run the same propaganda at home that U.S.-funded groups ran in Latin America. The Brazil scenario that stole the election from Bolsonaro in October 2022 is the template: federal grants, research money, and nonprofit partnerships are shaping politics here the same way. How many elections have been stolen by Democrats with USAID’s assistance behind the scenes?

Fauxi Exposed Once Again. As a reminder, Democrats and allied media outlets treated Fauci as the face of “the science,” cast Republican criticism as an attack on public health, and Joe Biden capped that defense with a preemptive pardon covering 2014 to 2024. Fauci’s diary has exposed the truth, little by little. Diary pages released 7 October show Fauci disparaging President Trump, praising Chinese health officials, and losing confidential files in a ransomware attack. The notes include a September 2016 line that Trump “made a fool of himself” in a debate, an October 2016 reaction to the Access Hollywood tape that anyone else would be disqualified, and a January 2019 entry during a shutdown saying Trump “should be impeached.”

Senate Democrats Block the Stop Insider Trading Act. Members of both political parties trade stocks in industries they regulate, with only delayed disclosure under the 2012 STOCK Act. However, the trades most often cited as suspicious involve senior Democrats such as Nancy and Paul Pelosi although neither have been charged. So it is no surprise that Senate Democrats blocked cloture on H.R. 7008, the Stop Insider Trading Act, by 53–47, short of the 60 votes needed even to open debate. The House had passed it 232–198 on July 22. The bill would have barred members, spouses, and dependent children from new purchases of publicly traded stocks, required 7 to 14 days’ notice before a sale, and fined violators the greater of $2,000 or 10 percent of the trade plus profits, while still allowing existing holdings and ETFs and exempting the president and vice president.

Democrats Want Illegal Aliens Included in the 2030 Census. It is no secret that the Democrat Party favors open borders for the purposes of skewing elections and the census in their favor. So it is that the same groups opposing Trump’s immigration enforcement are mobilizing against a Census Bureau rule, proposed in September 2026, that would exclude illegal aliens and other non-permanent residents from the 2030 count used for House seats and Electoral College votes. The bureau says apportionment should follow “usual residence.” The ACLU, Make the Road New York, the New York Immigration Coalition, FIEL Houston, and MALDEF had previously moved to intervene against a Missouri suit seeking the same exclusion. Heritage’s Lora Ries and the Center for Immigration Studies’ Steven Camarota say the fight is about seats: Camarota estimates illegal immigrants shifted two House seats in 2020 and about four by 2024, five counting their U.S.-born children.

Paxton’s Estranged Wife Endorses His Candidacy. Democrats and James Talarico’s Senate campaign have used Angela Paxton’s July 2025 divorce filing, which alleged adultery on “biblical grounds,” as a character attack on Ken Paxton, pairing it with his impeachment and whistle-blower scandal to paint the Christian-branded Republican as personally and officially corrupt. One would think the serial sinner Talarico would understand the idiom about “casting the first stone”, but then hypocrisy is one of his character traits. As the below linked X post conveys, a Texas PAC has launched a new ad featuring state Sen. Angela Paxton (R), the estranged wife of Ken Paxton, saying people had asked her thoughts on the election and that she is voting for the Republican ticket on 3 November. Ooops.

Mamdani Bringing DSA Activists into NYC Government. The Democrats have long employed the tactic of burrowing at the federal level: outgoing Democrat administrations have converted political appointees into career civil-service jobs, which are hard to fire, so allies stay inside agencies and keep carrying the prior administration’s policies after a Republican takes office. Thus, it is no surprise that Mayor Zohran Mamdani is folding the Democratic Socialists of America and allied organizers into New York City government, a patronage setup one writer in the below-linked articled called a “hipster Tammany Hall.” An example is the Office of Mass Engagement, staffed with former campaign aides and described by Politico as putting the DSA’s door-knocking machine on the taxpayer payroll while pressing the Rent Guidelines Board into a rent freeze that a former member called a sham and that is now in court over more than 100 City Hall contacts. The Mamdani administration also pays hundreds of influencers and directs them through Signal chats, including amplification of a Tax Day video aimed at Ken Griffin, and the September 7 Mayor’s Office of Worker Power, modeled on a DSA–United Electrical Workers organizing project, which makes City Hall both union organizer and referee.

Newsom Signs Helping Illegal Aliens’ Helpers. California Democrats have enabled and incentivized illegal immigration in California for years by using state tax money to give “income-eligible illegal immigrants” (sic) full-scope Medi-Cal — about 1.7 million people at roughly $10 billion a year — plus in-state college tuition, some housing and food aid, phone subsidies, and access to low-cost auto insurance. The below-linked article reports that Newsom signed AB 2624, which extends a privacy program to immigrant-serving nonprofits, their staff, and volunteers so they can use substitute addresses in public records, and barring online posts made with intent to enable threats against those providers. The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, which got more than two-thirds of its revenue from government grants from mid-2021 to mid-2025 and runs an “immigrant political power project,” co-sponsored and lobbied for the bill. Critics, including California DOGE’s Jenny Rae Le Roux, say existing law already covers threats and that the measure hides taxpayer-funded activity; investigative journalist Nick Shirley, represented by America First Legal, has sued, alleging it targets his reporting.

Amy Klobuchar Panders to Somalis. The governor’s race in Minnesota is tightening. As of mid-September Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D) was leading Republican state House Speaker Lisa Demuth, but the margin has narrowed from the mid-teens to about 2–7 points, with Klobuchar at 47 percent and Demuth at 40–45 percent. Methinks this bit of Klobuchar pandering may come back to haunt her. A video circulating 4 October shows Klobuchar at a Somali campaign event accepting a small American flag handed to her upside down and continuing to hold it that way while she spoke, kissed a Somali flag, said a few words in Somali, and touted her work keeping bank remittances to Somalia open after institutions pulled back over terrorism-financing rules.
Critics tied the clip to Minnesota fraud scandals, which have garnered national news and embarrassed many Minnesotans. No wonder the Democrat media are mum about it. Read more here:

Jack Smith’s Misprision Operation Exposed. Democrats and their allied media outfits have loudly defended Jack Smith’s special-counsel probes as independent, professional, and “squeaky clean,” and treated Republican claims of election interference or a blank-noted Brennan meeting as attacks on the rule of law. That façade is showing serious cracks. The latest are memos released by the White House Government Transparency Task Force showing Smith’s team and FBI agents met former CIA Director John Brennan at CIA headquarters in McLean on 3 November 2023 to discuss “expert testimony” on national defense information in the classified-documents case later code-named Plasmic Echo. The typed summary says no documents were shown. The two agents’ notes are blank except for the date, place, Brennan’s name, and the attendees, despite Justice Manual guidance that witness interviews generally be memorialized. The meeting came months after Brennan’s House testimony that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) referred for prosecution in October 2025 as false, and Brennan has since received a grand-jury subpoena in a Florida probe of alleged civil-rights violations tied to the Russia and Mar-a-Lago investigations.

More Proof the Biden Regime Weaponized the Government. The Biden regime turned the Justice Department, FBI, and intelligence agencies on political opponents — parents protesting school boards, Trump and his aides through Jack Smith’s probes, and conservatives labeled as disinformation — while treating allied causes as outside that scrutiny. The latest confirmation is from a Justice Department Weaponization Working Group report that finds the Biden White House pressed the department into Merrick Garland’s 4 October memo treating parents who protested critical race theory and Covid rules at school boards as a federal threat. The memo followed a 29 National School Boards Association letter, coordinated with the Education Department, that likened the protests to domestic terrorism. The association later apologized, but Garland did not withdraw the memo. Internal emails show career lawyers and even Associate Deputy Attorney General Kevin Chambers calling the premise “ridiculous” and a local issue, and one attorney dubbed the effort an “Anti-MAGA Task Force,” but Biden White House counsel Ephraim McDowell and the deputy attorney general’s office pushed it as urgent. The FBI opened 25 preliminary assessments, six in counterterrorism, and none produced a prosecution.

Investment Boom in the U.S. Continues. President Trump’s administration has focused like a laser on bringing manufacturing back to the U.S. The estimated total to date is an astounding $11.2 trillion. Never mind Obama’s response to a Carrier employee at an Elkhart, IN, town hall in June 2016: “Some of those jobs of the past are just not going to come back,” [and further mocked Trump’s promise to negotiate them home:] “What magic wand do you have?” What would Obama know about manufacturing anyway? He’s a lifelong sucker on the public teat with zero real private sector experience. But I digress.
The latest manufacturing investment good news comes from Bayer which will invest $2.2 billion in a pharmaceutical manufacturing campus in New Albany, Ohio. The company calls this a central piece of its growth plan and is expected to create about 1,500 construction jobs and up to 600 permanent ones. CEO Bill Anderson said the U.S. remains a key manufacturing and innovation base. President Trump credited the project to pharmaceutical tariffs and said those tariffs had drawn more than $600 billion in new drug-industry investment and lower most-favored-nation prices.

Democrat Interventionism Will Strangle the U.S. Housing Market. Democrats and the Democratic Socialists of America favor federal intervention in housing through rent controls or freezes, subsidies, public or social housing targets, and limits on landlords and investors, treating high rents as a problem of owner power rather than a shortage of homes. Spain’s housing crisis is a perfect example of a supply failure has been made worse by socialist intervention. Since Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez took office, rents are up more than 50 percent, about 300,000 homes have left the long-term rental market, and a pledge of 270,000 public homes did not materialize. From 2021 to 2025 Spain added about 1.2 million households and finished only 474,000 homes, a deficit of at least 734,000; the Bank of Spain puts the shortage near 750,000 and possibly above a million by 2028. The 2023 Housing Law’s “stressed zone” rent caps cut long-term listings 40 to 50 percent in some measures, while seasonal listings more than doubled. About 92 percent of market-rate rentals are owned by individuals, not funds. That same mix — rent caps, slower permitting, hostility to owners, and rising demand without new construction — would shrink and raise the price of the U.S. rental market.

Apple News Buries a Blockbuster to Aid the DNC. Money is the mother’s milk of politics. Popular political parties have no trouble raising money; not so much for the down-and-out. Apple News, which uses human editors rather than a pure algorithm, has long been accused of favoring Democrats by burying coverage of the party’s debts and promoting stories damaging to Republicans. A Media Research Center study found Apple News did not place any of 78 stories on the Democratic National Committee’s debt in its top 20 from 1 January through 28 September, five weeks before the midterms, including at least 14 pieces from outlets it usually promotes, such as the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, and Politico. MRC president David Bozell called the human-edited feed a “protection racket” and said a promoted story can draw 1 million to 20 million views. The DNC ended 2024 with about $20.5 million in debt after the Harris campaign, borrowed $15 million in October 2025, and entered 2026 with $17.5 million in debt, while the RNC held $230 million and no debt. The money trouble has fueled calls to oust chairman Ken Martin.

Is LGBTQ a Fad That is Now in Decline? Social-contagion theory holds that much of the rise in LGBT identification among teenagers since the early 2010s, especially bisexual identification among girls, was a peer-driven fad rather than a matching rise in stable same-sex attraction. Advocates of that view point to clustered friend groups, social-media timing, and the recent drop in CDC figures. According to the below-linked article from The Washington Post (a charter member of the Democrat-media complex!), young teenagers are less likely to identify as lesbian, gay, or bisexual than a few years ago, based on Jean Twenge’s analysis of 2025 CDC Youth Risk Behavior data. The sharpest drop is among ninth-grade girls: 30 percent identified as lesbian or bisexual in 2021, and 17 percent did last year.

A DSA Control Act in the Offing? The Communist Control Act of 1954, signed by President Eisenhower, declared the Communist Party a criminal conspiracy rather than a legitimate party and stripped it of the legal rights and privileges of a political organization. In 2026, the Democratic Socialists of America and the Communist Party overlap on replacing capitalism with collective or state control of major industry, expansive public ownership and welfare, hostility to U.S. military power and immigration enforcement, and skepticism of constitutional checks such as an independent Senate and Supreme Court. A bill by Reps. Rich McCormick and Clay Fuller, both Georgia Republicans, to deny the DSA the legal rights of a political party is gaining support in the House. Modeled on the Communist Control Act of 1954, the Communist Control Act of 2026 would apply those restrictions to the DSA. Fuller cites a DSA co-chair’s support for abolishing the Senate, the presidency, the Supreme Court, ICE, and the Pentagon, plus mass amnesty.
The Democrat-media complex are afraid to touch this important issue, too, which reminds mid-term voters that there’s not a dime’s difference between the Democrats and their DSA faction and the Communist Party. Read more here:

The Morals Mid-terms. Lastly, the Democrat-media complex wants to make the mid-term elections all about President Trump and their concocted affordability and fascism narratives. Their midterm case is that Trump is a threat to democracy and a would-be fascist, and that prices and housing are an “affordability” crisis they now fold abortion and health care into. They “buried the lede,” which is that the mid-terms are all about morals – or more precisely, immorality as embodied by the Democrat Party and their DSA faction. Take for example the below-linked article. Democrats are folding abortion into their midterm “affordability” message. On Vox’s America, Actually!, host Astead Herndon asked why abortion sat outside the economic frame after 2024 complaints that the party overplayed cultural issues. Jessica Valenti, author of the “Abortion, Every Day” Substack, called it a kitchen-table issue, citing the cost of an unwanted child, medical debt from denied abortions, and states such as Idaho losing about a third of their OB-GYNs and closing maternity wards. Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer made the same case at the Human Rights Campaign dinner, saying that if abortion is not an economic issue, “you probably don’t have a uterus.”
Never mind that abortion results in the death of a human being! Just how evil and depraved is that? Then there are the views of James Talarico (“God is non-binary”; transgender children are made in “God’s image”; opposes bans on males in girls’ sports) and Abdul el-Sayed (closet terrorist supporter with family members aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR; called Israeli leaders as “as evil as Hamas”). The DSA candidates are all communists (refer to the above), with communism having murdered over 100 million people over the last century. And these immoral people seek to supplant Republican control of Congress? Hard pass!
