Why do so many Hollywood actors think that appearing in a movie or a television show suddenly qualifies them to pass judgement on topics they know nothing about?
Like politics.
Far left actress Patricia Arquette, upset over Putin’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, sent out the following tweet on Friday.
Who’s gonna tell her? pic.twitter.com/vSwm71cCTF

Okay, while Arquette obviously feels empathy for the Ukrainian people, which is admirable, she might want to brush up on her knowledge of history and current events.
She doesn’t need to recite each member of the alliance, but she should at least know that NATO was formed because western nations were suspicious of the Soviet Union’s expansionist ambitions.
Even though Europe and the U.S. had been allied with the Soviet Union in their fight against Hitler, western leaders were mistrustful of Stalin who had turned his country into a socialist state. Their suspicion of the dictator continued through WWII, but they needed him to win.
After her error was pointed out to her, Arquette once again took to Twitter. She attributed the mistake to her dyslexia. She wrote: “I’m dyslexic. It’s in my bio and has been for years. A couple 14 hour work days laters and I flipped NATO and UN. You will live.”
If you thought that dyslexia involved mixing up letters and having reading issues, Arquette wants to know it also includes forgetting key historical facts.
