Part 2 updated my article from May 2021 to acknowledge that our IC leaders who signed the Hunter Biden laptop memo have been confirmed as political hacks-although not really “new” news. I left off with somewhat of a tease based on my premise that it is not Ms. Farkas or the fraudulent 50 we should be concerned with.
My thoughts and concerns are increasingly with Joe Girardi-long ago reputed to be the greatest salesman in the world-and his famous principle of 250. Were these nifty 50 average citizens, their influence would have encompassed some ~12,500 people: these were not average people. They likely hired-or fired-that many people in the span of their careers and a likely conservative number of their influence is more in the hundreds of thousands of people, perhaps millions that they influenced. Numbers can be fascinating or distracting, but just linger over the thought that if these 50 influenced 250-who then just influenced 250-that gets to be a big number quickly (like>3 million.)
The fact that these experienced leaders penned the letter in the first place is still somewhat mind-blowing to me. If you look at the years of experience of the top several IC signatories to this letter-and just for a moment consider their actions in relation to any memorable act of conscious, patriotism or public service effort throughout our history-Brennan some 25 years plus contractor time, Hayden ~42 years (38 military and ~4 Civil Service,) Clapper ~51 years (32 military, 14 civil service, 5 or so contract,) and Leon Panetta-who I usually wouldn’t include since he is not a career IC member like the others, but he did head the CIA for over two years when the CIA was stiff arming the DNI on a number of key issues (particularly PDB responsibilities, country leads)-has over ~40 years (16 years as a CA congressional representative, OMB Director, Clinton WH Chief of Staff, Obama SECDEF)-you would think these four alone would be the epitome of selfless service-politically savvy-not go out on a limb for such a crackhead problem child: how could it be otherwise?
The addition of Panetta included as a member of this group stands out a bit in comparison to the others. The conclusion you would have to draw is these 50 weighed-in to ensure Biden won, motivated to protect the 8 October 2020 FBI announced Michigan kidnap plot surprise that was strategically launched about a month out from the election to give time for the LSMBTG* to blast it to the far information reaches and start the echoes and reverberations that would take it into November.
Just these four have over a hundred-and fifty-years’ experience in various government capacities. Farkas didn’t have 10% of the experience of any of the fantasy fifty, was not an intel person-and as somebody with the lofty title of a “Deputy Assistant”-so there was a Deputy leading the office (we had several iterations over at least a dozen years in civil service-pretty much started after the DNI stood up-where titles were finessed to “discriminate or distinguish” leadership levels-so not a Deputy-but a principle deputy…) she was what used to be referred to as staff-but you must meet the civil service title and authority descriptive requirements to qualify for the rank and pay step that merits having an Ph.D as an assistant deputy-so she was somewhat of what we refer to in the business as a “glorified Pentagon staff person”-a valuable asset-but you can’t swing a noodle without hitting one in the Pentagon.
This letter was no harmless aside or misstatement or careless idea. Some of these folks worked diligently-each in their own way-to smear a presidential candidate on social media and to develop and propagate a coup against an American president (this is somewhat of the “Reader’s Digest” version written by Margot Cleveland.) With the Hunter laptop letter, they continued their seditious activity with the veneer of legitimacy that carried forth from their government positions-that set them up to be songbirds for the LSMBTG-where they fit in very nicely indeed, lying about stuff they had sworn to having no firsthand knowledge about-singing the doowaps when prompted to in support of even crazier conspiracy theories-they fit right in with the rest of the stooges and witting dupes and talking heads spewing nonsense about things they knew nothing about. Trading on their IC chops like years gone by medicine men-only without the fancy accoutrements-just smoke, mirrors and razzmatazz.
This lack of any tangible evidence on DJT and Russia collusion was known early-on by our congress, as Schifty Adam Schiff-under the auspices of his HPSCI Chairman position-took sworn affidavits while interviewing most of the key Obama administration principals (52 of them in total) behind closed doors. Schifty led a select group out of the select committee-with the addition of Trey Gowdy, a renowned prosecutor prior to being elected to congress. Schifty conducted the effort using a technique best exemplified by stories linked to Goebbels and NAZI propaganda, where you bring in those you need for the harrumphs, add token representation from those who won’t-but you classify everything and then threaten participants with House ethics investigations should anyone but the BOSS-Schifty Schiff-leak anything to the press.
There was precedent for the credibility of these threats, as HPSCI Chairman Devin Nunes had already previously been placed in the “Russian investigation penalty box cooler” (I chose this article because there are myriad LSMBTG lies and distortion muddying up the search responses-and I don’t want to support any of them) for the better part of a year during a critical time period through use of these tactics. Nunes originally believed this action stemmed from left-wing democrat activists-but I-much like Farkas’ fact free convictions-believe-with no evidence whatsoever-that he should look within his own house (that’s a funny) and no further than the Schifty one or maybe Feng Feng’s guy pal Shillswell to find who played rat in this instance.
After all, Schifty would later subpoena Nunes phone records-as well as DJT attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Jay Sekulow-apparently no concerns about attorney-client priviledge if you are in congress-publish it unredacted in an HPSCI report, and brag about it to the LSMBTG: such an audacious, bodacious and chutzpah laden egregious act among congressional members they will likely have to recalibrate the scale. I’m not sure what if anything this action contributed to Schifty’s narrative, other than proving what an absolute scurrilous and rotten human being he was. This is almost high-school stuff…
By this time post 2018 elections, any veneer that this was “gentleman doing their congressional duty” had long ago gone out the window. While all this Russia, Russia, Russia hysteria hoaxery and impeachment creation magic was ongoing, was the HPSCI paying any attention to world affairs? Is the HPSCI now the Permanent Select Committee on Domestic Political Issues Relating to Perpetuation of Democrat Power?
Who can forget the dueling memos released by Nunes and Schifty-one derided as partisan lies, the other touted as a sober and measured review of the facts. Schifty’s facts turned out to be so much-horse manure that you rarely hear anything about this action that dominated the news for weeks and weeks. The LSMBTG painted Nunes in the most unflattering and unfavorable way imaginable, while playing up the Schifty memo like he was some rock star-a Michael Avenati-like or some other LSMBTG adored and spotlighted love-crush, anti-Trump stooge of the moment. This is a good accounting of the emerging import of the memos by Andy McCarthy in National Review (which I have currently given up because of rubbish pieces that would make Buckley sick.) McCarthy’s detailed look has the added benefit of putting the “jack” in the “azz” of idjiot David French’s partisan take on the matter that talked of nothing but “sparkles, unicorns and rainbows to see here” in describing Schifty’s BS.
You just want to channel Sam Kinison here: “Hey ya imbred morons, they were in the same meetings-owww, ooh, one of them is a big flipp’n liar-they can’t both be right-one of them is named Schifty for a reason” (hard to do his rants justice in print, but you get the drift without the profanity!) Schifty was free to play hide the potato on what was coming out from the affiants, while he leaked selective tidbits to fan the collusion and Russia flames. So this stalwart of virtues and protecting America against the Bad Orange Man-who could have been one of the 50 with his challenging ethics and moral bankruptcy-classified largely innocuous testimony-threatened his colleagues with investigations if they leaked the information-and then dosed the public with leaks starting as early as January 2017.
He crossed the line and was now colluding against a US President-from inside the halls of congress (I forget what they call that-sedition? Treason? Scummy lies and other duties as assigned)-in an ultimately vain quest to discover something that wasn’t there.
It is interesting to think of Schifty and most of the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoaxers as Farkas’ in a position of power. Whether motivated by hatred, pure politics, opportunity, stupidity (or fill in your view,) we can easily see someone like Farkas pursuing things in a similar way if afforded the opportunity through position. What Schifty did was not very different, in that she was stating things she “felt” were true with nothing to back it up but apparently believed her own lies, while Schifty was saying things he knew to be untrue and had the evidence to prove it-and he lied about it anyway.
As much as this says about the nifty fifty, I think the bigger stain is on the person who put and maintains Schifty in that position-despite the total embarrassment he made of himself with the dueling memos with Devin Nunes-where Schifty’s viewpoints were near 100% debunked-given that both sat in the same meetings and heard the same things-and his continued lying on the evidence he had that ultimately proved it (his continued lying.)
Our constitutional republic is at somewhat of a disadvantage in dealing with folks like Schifty, because much of what the Founders envisioned based on a belief in God, Christian values and communities policing their own. When we do have dishonest people in our government-like somebody who professes to have an opinion-but it is in actuality a conviction-in that no amount of countervailing dispositive information will change their mind, we have to rely on peers and the process to rectify that situation (I’m reminded of the Army saying that a man with an opinion can be swayed by logic and reason, while one with a conviction-shot!)
Would it be that peer pressure would crush Schifty in his tracks: he was not the lone democrat in those dispositions, nor at the podium when he was insinuating, he had evidence that simply was never there. It was a strange, fixated quest to find information matching his false claims that he increasingly embellished to all who would listen to him-and it was the bulk of the LSMBTG-to find the “Russia collusion evidence that was hiding in plain sight.” He most effectively spawned dozens of Saturday Night Live-like jokes about Schifty in the psychiatrist’s office and some version of hiding the baloney-“Is this Russia collusion evidence in plain sight in the room right now? Can I see or touch it?”
This information (about the 52 Obama Russian Collusion and Pee Pee dossier hoaxsters who sounded the alarm but had nothing to alarm about) did not get publicly released until Schifty was forced to do so by the threat of declassification by interim/acting DNI Richard Grennel. Those who look for righteousness but are willing to settle for justice within our government received neither from our congress-responsible for providing oversight on our elected officials. But who provides oversight of them (yea, I know, the congressional ethics office: wish in one hand and poop in the other-see which fills up first considering the odds on Schifty being referred to the ethics committee for lying about this issue for years and years???)
Just consider the endless and countless-thousands-of appearances with the LSMBTG who then touted and repeated the things he told them that he knew were lies, knowing he had the exculpatory information all along-and wouldn’t declassify it-release it-let his colleagues release it-nothing.
The people from California must be very proud to have elected one of the premier liars in congress, a representative who would take sworn testimony from Trump haters in the Obama administration-who to a person disavowed having knowledge of any collusion-and then insinuate the opposite to the public while dropping the names of the affiants as if they were the source for his lies. What chutzpah-gall-utter disregard for his oath of office, the stature of his position as Chairman of the HPSCI, the reputation of our congress-and a disgrace as just a Schifty human being.
The only other possibility is he is simple-minded-should not have a clearance, nor be a representative. But like our nifty 50, its one or the other (and the other already left town.) Is lying a disqualifying trait to hold a security clearance?
My point may seem to be focused on some of these rat basswiches and the rat basswichy things they did to get DJT. But the bigger point here is these grizzled veterans of great experience-who were willing to lie, cheat and steal, and not only tolerate those who do-but encourage, recruit, and mentor them into positions of influence, are the real story and alarming trend signaled by this event.
These “gentleman”-who doth protest a lot-with nothing to back it up-pretty much oversaw much of the building of today’s Intelligence Community-having influence and sway over a great many of the 17 agencies that comprise the Director of National Intelligence (DNI.)
The leadership, the senior leaders in the pipeline, the policies, culture-all the things we look to senior leaders to do as part of the enormous trust and responsibility we place in their hands-these leaders shaped, influenced and created in the 21st century-particularly the DNI and the Department of Defense Under Secretary of Defense-Intelligence (USDI,) both of which offices stood up in the 21st century: and these leaders had a major role in shaping all of it.
It does not bode well for America that these “stalwarts” who were given the ultimate trust and responsibility that we the people cede our government, turned out to be such political hacks: many were at the helm for decades polluting the gene pool in their likeness. It seems crazy to observe that Brennan-in particular-left government service somewhat like he entered it-being perhaps best known for voting for the communist party for president in some kind of immature response to the Nixon Watergate debacle and closing out his career singing for his supper to get the candidate elected who had trampled our security protocols-largely promulgated by his agency-because she was likely to nominate him for the DNI position-later becoming an LSMBTG and social media DJT hating troll.
The potential numbers of people influenced by this group over the years is staggering.

One thing is certain. Trump exposed an awful lot of the vipers. If he hadn’t done that, I wonder how many more “Shiftys” would have been outed? Also, how many more would have been added to the “Nifty fifty”?
I must have been asleep about John Brennan, and James Clapper. Brennan first surfaced, to me, in the 9/11 Commission report. Clapper just seemed to pop up out of nowhere. Both are complete embarrassments, making the Intelligence Community an overall embarrassment, for all to see. My question is when will the IC get righted? Adam Shiff is just an unashamed bald faced liar.
Clapper somewhat necked out of the pack as a USAF career intel geek in a USAF that was promoting fighter pilots out of Vietnam. He and best man Rich O’Lear made a name for themselves as “iron Cols” through Pentagon program battles-he proved very adept at the infighting. He was the “A-2” for the gulf war-later elevated to DIA Director when it was a 3-star billet-where he confesses that he discovered that “government civilians can hold their breath for 3 years”-his attempt to reshape analysis away from country specialist to a weapons focus was a disaster-it wasn’t how the IC was set up at that point based on country specialists. He contributed to the Rumsfeld Commission-he had deep expertise on detection aspects from his time at ATAC-and was on the Khobar Towers Commission, after which he led a succession of organizations he railed against setting up-NIMA/NGA, USDI, and DNI. He was notably fired from NGA for insinuating that there would be no loss of support if NGA came under the DNI-drawing the ire of USDI Cambone-who he had been feuding with for several years over NGA’s GEOSCOUT Acquisition that was pooping the bed, and eventually Rumsfeld. It was a crappy thing to do short of his 5-year contract that had been agreed upon, leaving him short of qualifying for a government retirement. His work after NGA was for Geo-Eye, which was a bit controversial because it had been selected to receive a huge influx of government money to build satellite mitigation options to potential issues with the NRO FIA program-while Clapper was director. The Obama team called him back into service as USDI-the rest is history.
“Our constitutional republic is at somewhat of a disadvantage in dealing with folks like Schifty, because much of what the Founders envisioned based on a belief in God, Christian values and communities policing their own. This is a pretty good summary of the primary problem and the potential solution.
