Has Fox News thrown former President Trump under the bus? It sure seems that way, starting back in 2018 while he was still President. Brian Kilmeade is the latest Fox News Host to turn on former President Trump. When in the beginning he was all about the election being stolen by the Democrats for Joe Biden on his talk show ‘Fox and Friends.’

The “Fox & Friends” host told Howard Kurtz on “Media Buzz” about his experience interviewing Trump at West Point where he watched the Army-Navy game after the 2020 election.

“The president was unhinged during that period,” Kilmeade recalled. “…As soon as we were done, he just stormed off. And you know how long I’ve known him, for 15 years or 20 years prior to him going to the White House. I’ve never seen him so angry.”

He’s convinced he was robbed, Kilmeade said, referring to Trump’s baseless claims of voter fraud.   “msn.com

Just this month on the 24, 2022, Fox News anchor Bret Baier praised on Thursday hailed the Republican election officials and members of Donald Trump’s administration who stood up to his bogus efforts to overturn the 2020 election as “patriots.”

In commentary during the latest House hearing on the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, Baier disputed the select committee’s “premise” that the country was on the brink of losing democracy, citing the efforts of those officials, including leaders of Trump’s Department of Justice.

“If anything, this testimony shows … all of the state officials, these officials in DOJ, who again were working for President Trump, stood up saying, ‘We have an oath to the Constitution,’” Baier said.

“Even though the president wanted to keep on trying to overturn the election, there were patriots along the way who said we can’t do this, and so I’m not sure that that premise sells with all the witnesses they are putting forward,” he added.    “yahoo.com

Fox News has been turning its back on Former President Trump as far back as March 2021. Fox News host Laura Ingraham cut Trump off he was trying to respond to the election being stolen from him in a phone interview.

In the phone interview, Ingraham asked Trump about the Biden administration’s plans to expand voting rights as Republicans try to tighten access to voting.

“If you look at the last election, it was disgraceful. It was a third-world election. It was a disgrace. Legislatures didn’t approve much of what happened,” Trump responded.

“If you look at the numbers, the numbers were vastly in favor of us in the presidential election. It was disgraceful that they were able to get away with it. The Supreme Court didn’t have the courage to do what they had to do,” Trump said.

Ingraham cut in. “Speaking as a lawyer,” she said, “we’re not going to relitigate the past.”    “businessinsider.com

With the facts coming forth from the Jan. 6 committee, how long will it be before Fox News owned By Rupert Murdoch totally turn its back on Trump? Rupert Murdoch seems to be putting himself ready to back Desantis if he decides to run for President. I like Desantis myself, but that’s another article to come.

  1. Bret and Brian seem to be having difficulty remaining unbiased, lately. Bret appeared more to be outright hostile towards Trump, and for no discernible reason, other than letting the left control a narrative, and Brian? Well, who knows what side of the bed he will wake up on? I think Brian is more into selling his book, right now, anyway.

I really pay little attention to either of them. Tucker is the only one left who will not bend or break his own knees.

  2. I’ve never liked Kilmeade, he’s always come across as too rino-ish to me, like Guy Benson. They both seem to belong more in the Bush camp than the MAGA camp. I wasn’t aware he ever was much of a Trump supporter, he certainly never seemed like one the few times I listed to him.

    • Bowing to the direction the wind blows against that wet thumb. Kinda like the faux architect in the Fountainhead.

Of course, one could apply the same principle of having no principles and add them to the growing list of Bill Mahers, Joe Manchins and many others who live in the world of fooling most of the people most of the time but failing eventually.

Instead of calling them RINO-ish, how about tooting their own horns too much? That’s rampant in the news biz, and growing more every day.
