The Left is Winning; Trust is Gone

It is clear to see that the goal of Soros, the Marxists, the Leftists, the Woke, academicians, school boards, teachers’ unions, race baiters, and other assorted America Haters has been to erode all trust, confidence, and respect for the Constitution, our institutions, our culture. In this regard, they have won. The Left has eroded trust in ALL our institutions and the Republicans have done little to counter that except to lose gracefully. This lack of trust makes it easier for fascists like Soros, the Dems, Newson, BLM, ANTIFA, and others to roll in with attractive-looking alternatives. Last week Republicans and pundits were crowing about the low regard of the American people for the President (36%!). Less widely proclaimed was that support for Congress and the Supreme Court was worse and nearly as bad, respectively. While those of us who think Biden is a fool and a tool might be happy to see trust in the Presidency plummet, we are seeing similar numbers for Congress and the Supreme Court. What does this mean for the future of the Republic? We must somehow separate the enemies of the Constitution in DC and the media from the institutions themselves.

Our elected “representatives” (a.k.a., elitist ruling overlords on both sides of the aisle) have contributed greatly to this erosion in trust of our institutions. Every action, initiative, decision, or group that does not conform to the approved Leftist religion is a “threat to our democracy.” First, MY democracy doesn’t look anything like the Democrats’ brand of fascism passed off euphemistically as democracy. Second, very few things other than 90% of Federal laws, most regulatory agencies, packing the Supreme Court, and intentionally loopholed elections are truly threats to our democracy. All other claims merely eroded confidence in… everything. The Left is winning.

As reported by the Daily Wire, the man in the White House did his best to erode confidence in one of the three branches of the Federal government. In a diatribe laced with prevarications,

President Joe Biden took aim at Supreme Court justices in an unpresidential attack in which he declared the justices are “out of control.”

Biden said the court is “playing fast and loose with the facts” because of its decision to overturn Roe v. Wade last month and return abortion legislation to the states. 

“We cannot allow an out-of-control Supreme Court, working in conjunction with extremist elements of the Republican Party, to take away freedoms,” Biden said. 

This was after Democrats did nothing to protect Supreme Court Justices from illegal harassment and intimidation, even after the attempted assassination of Justice Kavanaugh.

It is one thing to argue that you agree with a court decision. It is another to call the institution out of control and radical. And it is still another thing to throw a petulant tantrum and actively advocate to pack the court with Leftists, which the Biden administration and the America haters in Congress and elsewhere are doing. The Left is winning.

Politicians on both sides of the aisle have eroded trust in our election processes. Whenever an election is held the losing side doesn’t merely ask for a recount, they assert that the entire election was illegitimate. The media has made a big deal of Trump’s assertions of irregularities in the last election, and the number of (largely unreported) arrests and convictions in battleground states bears some witness that those irregularities and illegalities took place. The Leftists and the media, but I am being redundant, rarely admit that Gore and Clinton asserted the same things in previous elections. But they are Leftists and America haters, so it is okay for them to question the legitimacy of the electoral process. That helps erode trust in our institutions.

Efforts by states to tighten voting loopholes and require proper identification to vote have been decried by the Biden junta and Democrats as racist, claims so demonstrably false that even Washington Pravda gave Biden four Pinnochios. The results of recent elections in Georgia, for instance, showed that voter participation in all demographics increased despite their recent “Jim Crow 2.0” law. It is racist to require proper identification to vote, but it is not racist to require identification to drive, receive health care, or buy liquor. On the contrary, I assert that it is racist to believe that certain races are incapable of getting an identification card. The Department of Injustice is suing Arizona to prevent them from requiring proof of citizenship, while states like Kalifornia, New Jersey, and New York are passing laws to allow non-citizens, including illegal immigrants, to vote in local and state elections. To the Left, it is anathema to have secure elections. They can’t cheat if elections are secure.

I vote to go back to paper ballots and purple ink on your fingers.

If politicians really cared about election integrity, they would reduce the power of PACs and outlaw contributions from foreigners like George Soros in the campaigns for District Attorneys and Congressmen. But none of them really care about election integrity. It suits the purposes of politicians on both sides of the aisle to challenge the legitimacy of any elections or decisions they disapprove. The Left is winning.

Trust in the media is at an all-time low as well. Several recent YouTube videos feature “journalists” complaining that the people no longer trust them as a source of news. That erosion of trust is predictable and explainable when journalists have become transparently biased in favor of America hatred and when “journalists” openly advocate for censorship of views they dislike. The recent track record for “journalists” is pretty dismal: Russia collusion hoax, Hunter Biden laptop, Ukrainian quid pro quo (for Trump – Joe Biden is actually on camera bragging about his quid pro quo with Ukraine), etc. Part of that movement from objective journalism to Leftist, woke, Marxist, fascist, anti-American propaganda machine can be explained by laws that do not protect us from foreign interference. George Soros has deep influence in American politics, government, and culture through his control over many media corporations. Recently the FCC allowed Soros to purchase a group of conservative Spanish language radio stations in the US. His intent is clearly and transparently to subvert or destroy the conservative outlets, since Latinos are shifting Red. This should be illegal. We should not let foreign investors control our media. At all. Ever.

Trust in our educational institutions is at an all-time low as well. Schools are charging extortionate amounts of money to issue frivolous and useless degrees without providing necessary skills for lifetime success. The Leftists, Marxists, wokesters, and American haters who are largely in charge of our educational institutions from primary school through graduate school (but largely bypassing trade schools, thankfully), have turned our schools into indoctrination camps rather than educations institutions. Recently, school boards have rudely admonished parents for reading into the record pornography that their children are forced to read espousing divisive queer and gender ideologies (see here, here, here, and here). The colossal illogic of the school boards makes it clear why our educational outcomes are well behind most of the industrialized world. The parent cannot read pornography from the school libraries because a child might hear it, but the school can make available – and in some cases mandate – that pornography to the same children. At the urging of the National Association of School Boards and with the collusion and incitement by the Department of Education, the Department of Justice labeled parents protesting wokeness at school board meetings as domestic terrorists!!! In Arizona, the Scottsdale United School District was caught keeping a secret dossier with private information on dissenting, non-woke parents to intimidate them. The Left is winning.

The Marxist teachers’ unions made a cataclysmic strategic blunder by pushing to keep schools closed during the COVID hysteria farce. This gave parents a chance to see for themselves the hateful indoctrination that passes as education in America. When The Department of Education that uses taxpayer dollars to erode the quality of our education and pander to Marxist teachers’ unions exists in violation of the 10^th Amendment to the Constitution and should be abolished. Charter schools, private schools, school vouchers, and home schooling are on the rise as parents seek real education instead of political and social indoctrination, and the Left is predictably trying to eliminate these alternatives to their wokeness. Teachers’ unions are not in any way interested in the quality of education or the future of the nation, and they too should be abolished. Wokesters on school boards need to be removed from office.

A Harris poll recently reported that for the first time in history more parents trust Republicans to manage education than Democrats. The Morning Wire highlighted elements of the study:

The poll also asked parents what they want when it comes to education. It seemed that parents would like less focus on social issues and more on reading, math, and science. Those three subjects were overwhelmingly voters’ top priority, followed closely by practical skills like balancing checkbooks.

Meanwhile, less concrete social goals like “preparing students to be comfortable and successful in diverse settings” ranked near the bottom, while 60% said they aren’t happy with how racial issues are taught. To go along with that, 43% of voters said schools spend too much time focusing on sexual preference and gender identity. In contrast, 21% said they don’t spend enough time on it.

Randi Weingarten, President of the AFT, seemed to address these results at the union’s convention last week. She blamed the negative public perception on the politicization of schools. 

However, on that point too, the poll wasn’t good news for Democrats. Thirty-three percent of voters said they’re more responsible for politicizing education, compared with 28% who blamed Republicans. The largest share though, 36%, blamed both parties.

While the US spends more per student than any country in the world, our educational outcomes are consistently in the bottom of the middle third compared to industrialized nations around the world. A focus on skills and critical thinking must mercilessly eliminate the wokeness, gender grooming, and other topics designed to divide us as a nation.

We must mercilessly expunge political indoctrination, wokeness, CRT/DEI/intersectionality/inclusivity, and gender nonsense from our schools. Schools need to teach reading, composition, rhetoric, critical thinking, grammar, history, civics (just how the government works and the Constitution, not a bunch of Leftist hogwash), math, and science. Period. “History” is the friction point. The zealots of the CRT religion want to paint an entirely negative story about American history, the Constitution, and our institutions. We are the only country in the world that teaches our kids that our country is evil. Leftists have used “remodeling” as a disguise to lie about the legacies of our founding fathers, such as Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. Even Germany doesn’t do this. Young children need to be taught to love and respect our Constitution, our flag, our anthem, our institutions, and our culture. The story of America (until recently) is one of continuous improvement. Yes, we have made some missteps, but we have moved to correct them. There is no freer country, no less racist country on the planet. And our kids need to know that.

Trust in once-trusted Federal institutions has all but evaporated. I have written before about the erosion in trust of the DoD, Department of Injustice, and the intelligence community. One needs to look no farther than the Intelligence Community’s illegal spying on Obama’s political opponents to see once-trusted institutions violating the Constitution. Organizations like the CDC and NIH, have completely discredited themselves through their blatant and transparent politization during the COVID hysteria. Dr. Birx admits in her book that she willfully deceived the President and pushed COVID hysteria. (This article is really worth reading!) Even the AMA has caved to Wokeism. This began with Trump Derangement Syndrome. Nancy Pelosi charged Trump with racism and xenophobia for wanting to close our borders in the early days of COVID, only to claim months later he didn’t act fast enough to close the borders. San Francisco and New York even encouraged people to mass celebrations of the Chinese New Year. The politization of the CDC and NIH has made “follow the science” a punchline to a cruel joke on the American people. The Left is winning.

Law and order are under attack by those specifically responsible for maintaining it. Soros-backed District Attorneys reward crime and lawlessness while punishing citizens and victims. Recently District Attorney Bragg arrested and jailed a bodega owner, Jose Alba, for defending himself against an assault by a violent criminal Bragg had released from jail several times. Alba killed the criminal while defending himself, and Bragg had him arrested for murder; although, surveillance video showed it was a clear act of self defense. As reported by the Daily Wire,

At some point during the fight, Simon’s girlfriend allegedly stabbed Alba in the shoulder. However, unlike Alba, she has not been charged. Simon died of his injuries at the hospital after reportedly being stabbed 5 times… Since there is surveillance footage showing self-defense, it is unclear why he was being held at Rikers. He’s being prosecuted by controversial Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg who requested $500,000 bail for Alba… Keep In Mind: Alba immigrated to the U.S. from the Dominican Republic more than 30 years ago and has no criminal history… New York’s bail reform law and policies have allowed violent offenders to be released to the streets, and Bragg has been known to routinely reduce felony charges to misdemeanors. But for some reason Alba, who has no criminal history, is getting the book thrown at him, even though video shows he acted in self-defense. 

District attorneys in LA, San Francisco, and New York, all backed by Soros, have made law and order a mockery. In New York, the DA recently released drug cartel traffickers. In Kalifornia, DA’s have reduced weapon-related crimes to misdemeanors while simultaneously calling to take guns away from law-abiding citizens. The Left has consistently vilified the police, while trying to disarm law abiding citizens and repeatedly releasing violent criminals into society.

Many have written about Biden’s open border policies that have resulted in millions of illegal immigrants being welcomed into the US with no accountability, responsibility, or ramifications. Cartels freely smuggle arms and illegal drugs into America. The Biden junta has often vilified Customs and Border Patrol agents for doing their jobs to try to protect our borders, like the lies about Border agents whipping illegal immigrants.

Project Patriot reported remarks by Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) regarding Biden’s open border policies and the Left’s intent of willfully failing to enforce immigration and border laws, saying that Biden is on the wrong side of history. (Remember when Robert Gates, former defense secretary in the Obama administration, once put it, Biden has “been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades?” Sound familiar?)

“They are changing the fabric of America by what they’re doing,” Van Drew said. “We know for a fact that there were at least over three million illegal crossings. We’re getting to the point [where] now it’s greater than the population of the state of Nevada. They’re trying to almost create another state or another culture in America.”

The New Jersey Republican, who is famous for having switched parties after being elected as a Democrat in 2019, pointed out that taxpayers are being forced to foot the bills for illegal immigrants, paying for legal aid, food, medical care and shelter.

Van Drew also noted that “some of them are on the terror watch list. Many of them are bringing in fentanyl. Many of them have COVID or all kinds of problems.”

The Republican congressman went on to say that he questions why any president “in his right mind” would allow illegal immigration to the point that President Joe Biden has, and wonders why congressional Democrats have not taken action on the issue, but added that he thinks that they are “out to destroy our country and diminish the United States of America.”

And the Biden junta is doubling down on their America-last policies. A proposed new Biden initiative will make it easier for illegal immigrants to claim asylum online and to invade the US. Despite all this the Department of Injustice is suing border states to stop them from enforcing immigration laws, claiming that is the Federal government’s purview. I agree. It is their purview. But if they refuse to do their job, someone must pick up the slack. All of this has made the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Injustice look feckless, reckless, and untrustworthy. The Left is winning.

Every election since I can remember has been declared the most important election in the history of the universe by politicians and pundits. It is easy to think that’s true when you see the incredible mess the Left has made of our country in so short a time by playing the long game beginning back in the 1950’s. The shotgun blast of examples in this article are meant to illustrate a point. As the Wallstreet Journal asserted, “Wokeness Is Putin’s Weapon: Russia and China capitalize on the West’s moral and political confusion,” and the woke and Leftists within the US are the tools of Russia and China. The goal of Soros, the Marxists, the Leftists, the Woke, most academicians, most school boards, all teachers’ unions, all race baiters, and other assorted America Haters has been to erode trust, confidence, and respect for the Constitution, our history, our institutions, and our culture. Trust in just about every institution and cultural norm has been destroyed. It starts with the Leftist political and woke social indoctrination in our schools. It grows through the words and deeds of most of the people in DC. Any setback from the rampant assault on America by the Left is merely a transitory delay. By eroding trust in our institutions and our form of government, the Left is steadily gaining ground and winning its campaign to destroy the once-United States and replace our republic with a fascist state.
