The Emperor Knows He Has No Clothes

I’m going to make a bold assertion up front:  Joe Biden does not have dementia.  What he has is a built-in alibi for consistently acting in direct opposition to essentially every foundational American principle in order to dismantle and destroy the nation he swore an oath to preserve, protect and defend, while the paralyzed masses sit back in befuddlement, dismay, sympathy and/or embarrassment over how someone this seemingly addlepated and aloof has managed to ascend to what many have called the highest office in our land.  What he will also have is the perfect getaway for his crimes against the United States of America:  Once the permanent damage has been done, he can be declared incompetent due to mental incapacitation, whisked away in a white padded truck to some remote “elder-care” paradise, never to be publicly heard from again, and with iron-clad immunity from any prosecution for abuse of his office as well as his and his family’s clandestine dealings with foreign governments.

One of my favorite childhood stories continues to be The Emperor’s New Clothes by Hans Christian Andersen, first published in 1837 (and based on similar accounts dating back to the 1300’s).  While it would be years after my own youth before I’d truly appreciate Andersen’s profound illustrations of arrogance and groupthink which permeate this tale, I now see a twisted variation of it playing out in our United States.  The ruler of our version is still quite arrogant, and the people still generally cowered into self-doubt and/or fear over taking any real action to deal with what appears to be a royally obvious error.

The difference in our narrative is that the guy actually knows he’s behaving irrationally by traditional American standards, and defying all rationality, as he and his inner circle subliminally perpetuate the facade that he doesn’t know what he’s doing by dropping not-so-subtle hints here and there that he doesn’t (“I’m not supposed to say this,” prematurely cutting broadcast feeds, Generals directly contradicting him in testimony under oath, etc.).  Meanwhile, as we continue to stand in utter shock and awe of this spectacle, we seem unable to reasonably consider that this may be all an elaborate ruse, and taking more immediate personal action to stop what on the surface appears to be a serious mental disorder, and yet upon reflection has been a systematic and quite successful ransacking of the last vestiges of our American republic.

We know we’re being lied to on multiple fronts but, somehow, we are falling hook, line and sinker for this line of propaganda.  We’ve suspected for awhile that we’re also being gaslighted, but have been unable or unwilling to admit that we’ve been royally bamboozled into believing that a guy with a long history of taking liberties with the truth, who has yet to answer for any of his and his son’s questionable activities abroad, and who has been publicly crafting his “that’s just Joe being Joe” public buffoonery for years, now finds himself miraculously elevated to the office of POTUS and mindlessly doing nothing more than reading teleprompters and signing whatever his “handlers” put in front of him.  And his actions as POTUS thus far have been so outlandish and heretical that dementia must be the only explanation.  Or so says the media.

What difference does it make, Jeff, if he’s faking it or not?  The results are the same.  And besides, they cheated to get him into the White House.  I have no arguments with either of these claims; the point here is to expose how insidious the propaganda war we are in truly has become, and how pernicious it is likely to be if we fail to recognize just how easy it is for its purveyors to make just about anything (including “right-wing”-sounding narratives) appear to be very real with the help of modern-day communication media.  Even those who are not part of the “mainstream” are unwittingly disseminating such propaganda:  In the case of Joe Biden’s dementia, I’ve heard and read from multiple sources I’ve considered trustworthy that his symptoms are “textbook,” and perfectly fit the classic psychological profile of an elderly man with dementia.  Hmmm.

I’ve been challenged to provide solutions to the situation in which we now find ourselves as Americans who are about to lose their country, and so have just one:  WAKE UP, and GET UP!  Realize that you’re the subject of a massive psyop, as are the sources of all of your news. Question everything you see and hear through all high-tech media channels, no matter what the source.

We’ve all become so conditioned to largely experience the 21st-Century world outside of our homes vicariously through media that we regularly allow our interpretations and viewpoints to be shaped by the second-hand sources we trust at any given moment, without ever questioning whether we should trust any of them.  Our senses are easily fooled, and those seeking our destruction know it.  Right now, they have control of the tools needed to dupe those sensory perceptions and shape reality en masse.  It is only by training ourselves to be critical of everything we consume via entertainment, news and social media, and rigorously questioning the truth or falsity of all prevailing narratives across the political spectrum, can we become the independent thinkers and actors we need to be.

We must realize that we need to do more to preserve our God-given rights than sitting around feeling good about narratives crafted by others with which we happen to agree, and which sedate us into doing nothing more than voting every two years.  We need to stand up for ourselves, and relearn how to think rather than what to think.  To quote the late Rush Limbaugh:  question with boldness!

We cannot be afraid to claim that the emperor knows he has no clothes

  1. I second your bold assertion.

The joke was on us when he stole the election. Said joke was made worse thinking that the idiot VP he picked is in succession to possibly become the president. The ones laughing about it are the Democrats who had a hand in the theft of the election. They are laughing so hard as to be falling out of their seats.
