When one studies history, one will find that the vast dominant force controlling the people has been dark. Tyrants, despots, human gods – they controlled the masses, and it was easy.
The masses need three basic items – nourishment, shelter and clothing. Without these basic staples of life, man’s existence would end. To further meet these necessities, men form communities for mutual support, they provide for their offspring and enter social contracts to improve their lives. It is Human Nature.
Human Nature also wants protection and order in a chaotic world. The long history of man is based on the promises of tyrants, kings and despots, taking advantage of man, stealing their wealth and harvest while promising that protection. Coups and revolutions have constantly occurred over time, never increasing the freedom of man. There was no thought of the rights of the people, only a constant darkness created by the evil desires of powerful men.
But man had the gift of reason. Greece, Rome, Egypt, and other civilizations created gods based on the nature of man and the observations of the world. Observance of those gods helped control the masses. The god of fire, rain, wind, love, harvest – the creation of so many gods to help explain the life of the people. This higher power helped calm the expectations of man, and the discussions of these gods created the scholar.
The scholar noticed change, the seasons, the stars, life and death. They saw differences in the intellect of people, the demands of the rulers. They asked questions about life, about the societal organization, about the plight of the everyday person. It was the advent of philosophy, the study of human nature. Why were there rulers, workers, athletes? Who gave the rulers the power? What was the purpose of life? Were men the same or different? This was the start of Western Civilization.
Throughout the world, new thoughts immerged. In a faraway desert land, a Messiah was born. He preached about the greatness of His father and the promise of eternal life for all who believed in Him. The Gospels, the recorded word of Jesus, were taught throughout the western world. Basic lessons of life were revealed, the interaction of man was discussed. The concept of how to treat one’s neighbor became a way of life.
The teachings of Jesus led to more thought about the existence of man. Ideas emerged that there were certain rights given to man by the Almighty. The new God was different, people had to act, people had a soul, people could reason, people could think, and there was right and wrong. This thought progression grew during the Fall of the Roman Empire, the Dark Ages, the Middle Ages and into the new dawn of man.
Revolutions still occurred, war enveloped parts of the world, and each resulted in the same outcome – the enslavement of the people for the needs of others. There was never an increase in the freedoms of man.
Meanwhile, the multitude of authors of Western Civilization were attempting to define freedom and liberty for mankind. They came to realize that God blessed mankind with certain rights, yes, God gave man life, liberty, property and the ability to pursue happiness. They realized that governments were not to infringe on those rights.
The scholars continued to think. What is the best form of government and why? What are the basic rules to govern society and why? This group of Classical Liberals believed that government was to respect man’s God-given freedoms, his liberty and his dreams. These Classical Liberals came to believe that government received their power from the people! These Classical Liberals believed that nations formed by man must respect man’s choice of religion.
That Classical Liberal philosophy was adopted by thirteen colonies, comprised of people escaping religious persecution, who wanted respect for believing in the God-given rights afforded all humans. They were not perfect, they made mistakes, but they stood together and revolted against an overpowering tyrannical government.
This American Revolution was the first revolution which resulted in more permanent freedom for the people. A Constitution was created to protect that freedom and those God-given rights. This new government was called an experiment. It was uniquely new and untested. The Founders knew the risk. They had hope. They knew that only moral citizens could maintain liberty under the blessings of the Creator.
Today, many believe that we are currently in the middle of a revolution. Those people are wrong.
This is a counter-revolution. The opposition – the progressives, the socialists, BLM, the anarchists do not want to increase the freedoms and liberties of its citizens. These groups want to drastically decrease freedom and liberty so that they can control the population and steal the bounty created by our God-given rights. These groups have rejected the teachings of the Almighty and have elevated themselves to godly positions. They are driven by the same golden calves that plagued the Jewish people of olden times, but now money from godless China is being used to destroy American companies and corrupt people in positions of power.
This counter-revolution has used the words of a previous President to codify envy of another’s possessions. It is promoting the idea of equity versus the eternal concept of equality. It has replaced excellence with diversity. This counter-revolution is poppycock and it is founded in the seed of satan.
We have the numbers to defeat this evil. We must pull together and return to the roots of our founding, and we must pray. We are all created equal and we are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights and that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
As President Biden once said, “You know…the thing!”

One frustrating theme I see, almost every time I look at a senate committee hearing, where someone, like Ted Cruz, asks a witness why are you leaving out Antifa from your list of domestic terrorists? And the interviewee gives the usual filibustering answer. That happens almost daily, yet nothing appears to counteract the evil force that is behind that interviewee. In this case, it was FBI Director Wray.
Do we rely on the next election, when the last election was for every intent and purpose, stolen? I think that is a question that needs a lot of attention, if for no other reason than to prevent a real revolution, which I see as becoming closer to reality than any other option.
We are either good or evil. I think I know which side I am on, and I think I know which side the Democrats are on. I also think we let this happen because we are the side that follows rules and laws, and the other does everything it can to brush aside rules and laws, for the sake of the win. elections are fundamental to the functioning of a republic, even a democracy, but you can’t have either without fair and honest elections.
Back deep in my mind is an underlying understanding why the New York State Rifle and Pistol Assn v Bruen got decided the way it did, and it has dark undertones, besides it being the correct decision. It is because the decision is somewhat based on the notion that that Armed Populace is going to be taken to task in the correction of the problem, and the decision makes the field more balanced for the challenge, in the not too distant future.
Just how do we fight off the Goths, without this upcoming war, or call it an extension of the first American Revolution. They’re inside the gate, and well past it, when elections get stolen, and the voter becomes diminished.
History will back up times where this problem existed, and the solution ended up in war. The Bible does, as well, and one or two God intervened in. Great article!
In the movie Dr Zhivago, Aleksandr Gromyko, Yuri Andreievich Zhivago’s father-in-law attempts to rip down a sign confiscating his dacha in the Verykino, when Yuri Andreievich stops him, saying that they’ll call him a counter-revolutionary. “They shoot counter-revolutionaries!” Dr Zhivago warns him.
Don’t think that today’s leftist revolutionaries would hesitate to shoot conservatives if they could.
