Biden Administration Dogged by Concerns of Committing Human Trafficking

Governor Pete Ricketts brought up concerns about the Biden administration’s retreat on human trafficking of illegal immigrants on “Your World” on Friday. At a press briefing in the Capitol, Ricketts declared January “Trafficking Awareness Month.” State Attorney General (AG) Doug Peterson discusses the state’s efforts to stop trafficking with Gov. The governor also updated the state’s ongoing response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Attorney General’s Office’s website provides an annual report on trafficking across the U.S. Before 2015, certain types of human trafficking-related crimes were not covered under Nebraska’s federal laws. Fortunately, legislators took action in 2015 and have passed several specialized pieces of legislation for states dealing with trafficking in subsequent years. Working together with the State Senator, community groups made essential contributions to Nebraska’s human trafficking struggle.

A Tennessee senator shared the frustrations of Representative Marsha Blackburn over threats by Big Business and the NCAA to penalize states that refused to adopt a woke agenda and be significant trade partners of the Chinese genocide game; Rep. Ann Wagner noted a record number of signatories stepping down as part of the Protection for Congenital Abortion Survivors Act. Pete Ricketts, Nebraska governor, expressed his opposition to the vaccine passports and called for the Nebraska education department to pull proposed sexuality education topics teaching children about content outside the “safe harbors.”

Oklahoma senators give eyewitness accounts of the border and warn of Democrat’s efforts to eliminate the filibuster to pave the way for the Equality Act and federal takeover of the electoral system; Missy Thomas Irwin, Arkansas state senator for District 18, urges states to break their silence on complex transgender issues as Arkansas passes the Women’s Sports Equity Act; and Rt. Gen. Mike Pompeo contrasts his administration’s priorities as they reverse former President Trump’s policies to protect human life and religious liberty.

The State of Michigan recognizes its support of the Cuban people and urges the President of the United States and the Federal Government to uphold the Cuban people’s fundamental human rights and refer the matter to the Committee on Armed Services.

It is directed to send copies of this resolution to the President of the United States, the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Speaker of the U.S. Senate, and to members of the Congressional delegation from the State of Michigan, the Congressional delegation from the State of Michigan. May the Secretary of State of Nebraska send copies of this resolution to the President of the United States and every member of Congress from the State of Arizona.

May the Clerk of the Legislature prepare and transmit copies of this resolution to the President of the United States, to the Vice President of the United States, as Speaker of the U.S. Senate, to the Speaker of the U.S. House, to every member of the Congressional delegation from Nebraska, to the Secretary of the U.S. Air Force, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and to the Secretary of Defense.
