They Hate Us.

They hate us.  Hate.  They don’t just disagree with our positions.  They HATE us.  Democrats, Leftists, and Quisling Republicans hate us.  Who do they hate?  They hate the common American who works hard, pays taxes, and treasures our freedoms, institutions, history, culture, and Constitution.  To those in power, we are the enemy.

President Obama said we “cling to our guns and Bibles.”  Hillary said we are “deplorables.”  Biden called us “chumps.”  Biden also called states that are opening up for business and revoking state-wide mask mandates “Neanderthals.”  Talking heads on CNN and MSNBC use very vitriolic rhetoric to paint ALL Conservatives as evil.  There are open discussions about sending Conservatives to re-educations camps (e.g., Dachau).  Black people who dare to think for themselves are called Uncle Toms.   In classic example of projection, Don Lemmon of CNN said this of Trump supporters, “They like the racism. They like the misogyny. They like all of it because if they didn’t, they wouldn’t support him.” (CNN’s Jake Tappert has called ALL Trump supporters terrorist “minions.”  Reza Aslan a former host on CNN said, 

“There is no longer any room for nuance.  The President [Trump] is a white nationalist terror leader.  His supporters – ALL OF THE – are by definition white nationalist terror supporters.  The MAGA hat is a KKK hood.  And this evil, racist scourge must be eradicated from society.” 

  The Gateway Pundit has documented a vast array of vitriolic epithets spewed against Conservatives.  Keith Olbermann called President Trump and his supports “maggots” and said, 

“Terrorist Trump must be defeated, must be destroyed, must be devoured at the ballot box, and he and his enablers and his supporters and his collaborators… must be prosecuted and convicted and removed from our society while we try to rebuild it and to rebuild the world Trump has nearly destroyed by turning it over to a virus.”  

Olbermann has also called Trump a “pig” who is worse than Osama bin Laden.  (In the same article, Olbermann is quoting using the word “fight” which the recent impeachment farce said was incitement to violence – but only when used by Conservatives.

This kind of hate speech is common from corporate media outlets, Leftists, and Democrats.  This hate-filled rhetoric was once reserved for fringe, extremist groups (both left and right) but it is now mainstream language among the “axis of evil:” Hollywood, the media, Democrats, terrorist groups like Antifa and BLM, the Tech Tyrants, and Quisling Republicans.  Most importantly, these rants and accusations are not supported by facts.  If you ask a leftist to describe why they think Trump and his supporters are ___-ist de jure, they generally cannot site a specific example, and if they can, it can be debunked easily.  He did not, for instance, say that all Mexicans are rapists and murders.  Merely attempting to provide refuting facts makes you an ___-ist.

We are nearing a precipice in which secession or civil war are inevitable.  Generally civil wars occur when two sides become entrenched in their belief that those with opposing views are evil and the enemy.  While Conservatives have strong opinions about the policies of Leftists, Leftist and Democrats (but I am being redundant) HATE us.   We are no longer all Americans with much in common.  We are divided into two camps:  Leftist and EVIL Conservatives who must be stamped out, destroyed, re-educated, and expunged.

Texas is considering a study of possible secession, and other states have apparently expressed interest in joining.  I deeply mourn that I feel like secession might be a good thing.  I spent my entire adult life in the service of a nation whose days I think are numbered.  I am deeply saddened by the current state of affairs.  I don’t care about who is in the white house.  Since Regan’s second term, I have never voted FOR anyone for President but AGAINST the other person.  In this case, I didn’t vote FOR Trump as much as I voted against Leftism and fascism. And we are seeing that play out. I see the rapid move toward fascism – faster than even I predicted a couple months ago – and I worry that all the flyover deplorables need to secede while there is still something to salvage.  Secession does not mean war.  I think there can be an orderly process, like Brexit, by which links are severed that would take five or more years to resolve.  

I worry about our own government officials are becoming domestic enemies of the Constitution:

• When a political operative in Georgia brags about how she is proud of the large number of ballots that didn’t have validated signatures,
• When she can be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, and someone takes that seriously,
• When 7 months of rape, pillage, destruction (millions of dollars and thousands of businesses!), and murder (50+ directly associated with the rioting, “who said that protests must be peaceful”) (in a cause the media likes) is equated with an afternoon of violence (in a cause you don’t like – and whatever it was, it sure wasn’t insurrection),
• When members of Congress are proposing laws to silence or destroy the opposition or those who do not tow the party line,
• When Congressmen are accusing each other of insurrection and treason and proposing censure just because they don’t like their viewpoint or because they belong to the opposing party — and sometimes even the same party,
• When we no longer have a fourth estate,
• When the media is okay with Supreme Court packing,
• When the media is okay with adding two new states just to add four more Democrats to the Senate (we should give Puerto Rico independence and make Maryland take back DC),
• When companies that employ slave labor in China are okay, but small businesses that employ Americans legally in the US must be shut down,
• When governors are allowed to violate civil rights through capricious and provably ineffective fasicst lockdowns and closures,
• When “journalists” are advocating censorship,
• When DC has more troops than Afghanistan,
• When Congressmen are advocating loyalty checks on members of the National Guard (that is a first step toward political officers in units to guarantee ideological purity of officers and NCOs),
• When the FBI is performing those loyalty checks and behaving like the NKVD,
• When a politicized FBI behaves more like the secret police than law enforcement,
• When Congressmen are saying that all Trump supporters should have their security clearances revoked merely for supporting him for Present whether or not they participated in any illegal activity,
• When it is tantamount to treason to suggest that voting irregularities should be actively investigated in the interest of fair and transparent elections in the future,
• When an international commission judges the US to be the 60th most secure elections in the world,
• When Congressmen are talking about re-education camps for conservatives,
• When our own government is making noise about declaring that those who disagree with the government are “domestic terrorists,”
• When members of our own government (including ex-CIA directors) suggest that conservatives are more dangerous to the future of the nation than world-wide terrorist organizations, China, or Russian,
• When AOC is not censured for asking for lists of Trump supporters for retribution,
• When Forbes publicly states that they will persecute any companies that hire Trump supporters,
• When the courts refuse to hear evidence that is inconvenient regarding voting irregularities,
• When the military conducts a purge – as is going on today,
• When the service academies become institutions of political indoctrination,
• When general officers have become political hacks instead of warrior leaders and politicians feel they need to conduct a purge,
• When in one day the President issues more executive orders than the previous three presidents COMBINED,
• When tech tyrants are allowed – and encouraged – to de-platform and de-monitize views they don’t like,
• When winning an election means that the opposing party can rightfully be targeted for retribution like in some tinpot dictatorship,
• When a tech company has the genitalia to silence the President of the United States – by the way the two offending post were NOT offensive,
• When tech companies get away with de-platforming social media sites because they DON’T censor content,
• When Congressmen propose suspension of rights guaranteed under the Constitution,
• When Congressmen claim that religious people are enemies of the state,
• When the intelligence organizations of the nation are being used to spy on US citizens,
• When packing the Supreme Court is not universally condemned,
• When violence perpetrated by terrorist groups advocating the violent overthrow of the Government, like BLM and Antifa, are okay but pro-Trump rallies are evil,
• When the government endorses the LIES of institutional racism to make a case for abridging rights,
• When lies like Critical Race theory become official policy,
• When the government can force you to buy things you don’t want, like Obamacare,
• When the government can force you to get a vaccine you don’t want or you won’t be able to fly, get a job, enter a government building, etc.,
• When vandalism of statues of Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, and George Washington is endorses and approved by our elected “representatives,”
• When there are 45 genders and women’s athletics are going to be destroyed by letting boys pretend to be girls,
• When segregation is okay if it excludes white people,
• When our children are taught to focus on our mistakes as a nation rather than the consistent march toward introspection and self improvement that is the real American adventure,
• When the government official judges people by the color of their skin rather than their character and actions in blatant and overt racism gussied up in the guise of “anti-racism,”
• When our children are taught that America is hopefully flawed and burning down all our institutions is the only solution,
• When the majority of millennials believe that the Bill or Rights guarantees too much freedom of speech,
• When “journalists” can say with a straight face that freedom of speech is different from freedom of reach, despite legal precedent to the contrary,
• When Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Louis Farrakhan are held up as heroes and brilliant men like Thomas Sowell and Larry Elder are decried as “Uncle Toms,”
• When patriotism is considered an obscenity,
• When the elitists who run the country look down their noses at the working-class people who feather their nests for them,
• When real law enforcement is afraid to confront or detain black people for fear of being called racist and losing their jobs,
• When elected “representatives” no longer represent the people they are supposed to serve,
• When elected “representatives” feel like the people are here to serve them, rather than them being in a position to serve the people,
• When 85% of college deans and high school principals say they would never hire conservatives,
• When our “representatives” can vote with a clean conscience for $1.9T of pork where only a small fraction gets to the American people who most need assistance due to fascist Governor’s policies,
• When our “representatives” include in the $1.9T pork bill money to clean up blue cities that failed to contain months of rioting and the rest of us who did enforce law and order must bail them out,
• When our “representatives” support HR1 that provides Unconstitutional federal interference in the States conducting elections,
• When the President lies about election reform laws and ignores that in his home state the laws are more restrictive than those in Georiga,
• When the President encourages business to boycott states because he doesn’t like their policies,
• When heads of crime families who openly brag about illegal quid-pro-quos can still get elected to high office, and 
• When you can be fired without due process because of your personally held political or religious beliefs posted on social media…

…we cease to be the United States of America whose uniform I wore.  We are becoming a fascist police state like the one I joined the Army in the 1980s to defeat.

I would like to think that we can overcome this and come out stronger, but each day I become less and less hopeful.  I am sick to death of listening to people who have never done anything FOR this country spew a constant stream of hate and vitriol against it.  I would rather live in a portion of the US that believes in American exceptionalism, personal responsibility, and Jeffersonian liberalism.

Our last line of defense against an increasingly overreaching and tyrannical Federal government is the state governors.  Fortunately, I live in the Free State of Florida, and we are starting to see the Governors stand up to Washington.  Those handful of governors are protecting our liberties.  I worry, however, that pressure from Washington, the media, Hollywood, and corrupt Congressmen will actually accelerate the move by those governors to secede.

My oath is to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.  That oath does not end upon retirement from the military.  My oath is not to support enemies of the Constitution in high office or to silence myself to avoid confrontation or to ignore facts when I am being gaslighted by elitists, a failed media, a failed education system, and corrupt politicians.  As long as I remain in the US, I will honor and respect that oath.  I remain loyal to the Constitution, but I feel like a breakaway republic may better support the Constitution than the totalitarian regime in DC that we have become.
