Yet Another Biden Betrayal

On 20 December 22, Congress yet again broke faith with our allies. According to the Washington Post,

Congress dropped from its $1.7 billion omnibus spending bill an amendment that would have created a pathway to residency for Afghan refugees, dimming the hopes for tens of thousands of people rescued as Kabul fell in August 2021. Advocates of the legislation have described the move as a betrayal that would sour potential allies in future conflicts.

There are approximately 73,000 Afghans whose country we abandoned in one of our nation’s most disgusting military retreats.

To further cite the Washington Post,

The Afghan Adjustment Act, or AAA, would have eliminated the threat of deportation or joblessness for the nearly 73,000 evacuees who entered the United States under a temporary status known as “humanitarian parole” that will expire next summer. The legislation offered them the opportunity to receive green cards after undergoing additional vetting.

Yet this proposal, as part of the obscene $1.ridiculous omnibus budget bill, was tubed by Republican Sens. Charles E. Grassley (IA) and Mitch McConnell (KY). This again demonstrates what I have said frequently since October: Republicans stand for nothing! Their only platform is more investigations and “those other guys suck more than us.”

Congress and We the Sheeple are okay with 4 million un-vetted illegals pouring over the border that the sycophants and liars declare is NOT an open border, but not with the 73,000 Afghans who risked their lives and families and were driven from their homes supporting our stupid and misguided war. We the Sheeple must be okay with this and other betrayals because we reelected these poltroons to Congress and even put one more Democrat in the Senate.

Unless you are delusional, like the America-haters who identify as military leaders and the proletariat that voted for more America-hating policies, to believe that our abandonment of Afghanistan and subsequent betrayal of those who supported the US, you know that these actions will hamper future military operations and put our military men and women at risk. Only an idiot can trust the United States to meet its commitments. We have an almost unbroken record of betraying our allies and our military personnel. The level of disgust I feel knows no bounds.

This announcement by Congressmen comes on the heels of yet another betrayal by the Biden Junta. Deseret News reported that,

Sen. Mike Lee called out Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin for cutting off the pay of Navy Lt. Ridge Alkonis while he serves a three-year prison sentence in Japan.

“Secretary Austin callously informed me that day that the request for the exception to policy would not be granted. I asked him why. He believed it wasn’t appropriate for the department to do that,” the Utah Republican said last week in a Senate floor speech, referring to a Nov. 29 phone call with the secretary.

The Department of Defense’s decision to not extend Alkonis’ pay and benefits while he serves his sentence amounts to having his wife, Brittany, and three children “kicked to the curb” at Christmas time, Lee said…

Alkonis was convicted of negligent driving in the deaths of an 85-year-old Japanese woman and her 54-year-old son-in-law on May 29, 2021, while the family was driving down Mount Fuji after a day trip.

A Japanese judge determined that Alkonis had fallen asleep at the wheel and lost control of his vehicle, which plowed into pedestrians and parked cars in a restaurant parking lot two hours from Yokosuka Naval Base, where he was serving as an anti-submarine warfare officer.

But U.S. Navy investigators determined that Alkonis suffered from acute mountain sickness and lost consciousness. His wife and children said that he was not sleepy and appeared to black out. They said that once he passed out, he was unresponsive to their screams and one daughter’s kicks. He remained unconscious even during the crash itself.

Alkois suffered from a medical condition that caused his accident. No matter. It might be different to Austin and Byden if Alkois was in dereliction of duty, such as DUI. It would certainly be different if Alkois was a woke, America-hating, lesbian basketball player and criminal!

In the meantime, TaskAndPurpose reported that,

Multiple soldiers are under investigation for indiscreet activity while in uniform. Specifically, posting photos of themselves wearing dog-themed bondage masks while in uniform.

As reported by USA Today, the images — many of which first appeared on social media on Dec. 9 — depict “male soldiers in uniform, or parts of uniforms, wearing dog masks, leather, and chains. Some of the photos depict poses of submission and sexual acts. Another photo shows a soldier in combat fatigues wearing the dog mask on an airfield.”

Those soldiers are NOT forfeiting their pay due to their misconduct by a sailor who suffered from a medical condition must do so. Disgusting is too nice a word.

The priorities and values of the woke, Leftists cosplaying as general officers and military leaders are incredibly out of whack. “Betrayal” seems to be the only consistent value of the Biden Junta. His agenda seems to be to betray working Americans, betray victims of crime, betray the Constitution, betray our allies, and betray our military men and women.
