I saw a Venn diagram last week. The circles were labeled Fahrenheit 451, 1984, and Brave New World. Where they overlapped was labeled, “You Are Here,” AKA, the Biden Zone.
“Here” must be the shadowy tip of reality—the swamp. “Here” is the land of the different, the bizarre, the unexplainable. Wander as far as you like but it won’t get any better until the swamp you’re traveling is drained of all the people who inhabit it. However, for that to happen you’ll have to break through to another dimension. A dimension of common sense, morality, and ethical behavior.

What’s happening in the DC Circus always gets worked out after much wailing and gnashing of teeth often not to our benefit. But let’s look at another part of the swamp— Ukraine.
The issue that may have resolved it—Crimea seceding as they voted 3 times to do–is long past. So, is it about saving face? Will Zelensky suffer the ravaging of his people to save his reputation at his country’s expense? Will Putin continue with the destruction of civilian targets—a sociopathic attempt to show Russia is still a force in the world?
If neither is willing to back down, the only people who truly suffer are Ukrainians. At this rate there will come a time when Zelensky has no people left. Putin should be punished, but what does Zelensky see as his moral and ethical duty? If it is to arrive at an agreement to stop the bloodshed, will Putin accept it? Will Putin simply accept the word of NATO not to absorb Ukraine? Will Crimea be allowed to secede? Will Putin press for more? Where/what are the bargaining chips? Europe expects us to do the heavy lifting and we try to purchase salvation for a nickel. But what constitutes victory?
In our swamp, POTUS seemingly exhibits signs of senility. Congress seems incapable of functioning coherently. Our national security/diplomatic bunch seem staffed by kids who got policies wrong under Obama. Our government fails us but Zelensky demands and gets our help? Go figure.

As I’ve written elsewhere, Joe Biden is that point in space, that moment in time where Pure Evil and Abject Stupidity overlap, much as your Venn diagram depicts. His administration is one uninterrupted string of acts, orders and behaviors that demonstrates this. Though possessed of an above average IQ (That is to say his IQ is greater than 100 although, probably, not much greater), a decent level of education and having spent his entire life living in the greatest country in history, he, stubbornly, refuses to learn ANY of the lessons of its rich history or of the larger world.
His administration, via one of its agencies, has finally acknowledged, though grudgingly and with much hedging, hemming and hawing, the staggering damage that his flat-out IDIOTIC war on the Petroleum industry had caused. One cannot help but wonder if another such epiphany is forthcoming regarding his even more STUPID Southern Border policies. Since he is convinced that the overwhelming majority of these invaders will, themselves, or their descendants who are born here and granted birthright citizenship, manage to become and vote for Democrats, he is unlikely to ever acknowledge the horrific damage he has done and continues to do to this nation. We may, truly, have already seen the last free and fair election to ever be held in this country.
It is tragic how one, single and singularly STUPID individual can destroy what it took hundreds or even THOUSDANDS of years and hundreds or thousands of brilliant men and women to create. Perhaps Joe Biden doesn’t deserve ALL of the credit for its destruction, if it comes to that but he has richly earned, in record time, the title of The Worst POTUS in the History of this Great Republic. If we ever regain control of the Congress, in sufficient numbers to matter, we must ensure that such malfeasance can never again be able to range and roam so freely over the rights of the citizens of this country.

One thing I gave up trying to understand is that mess in Ukraine. Now, that part being the swamp, that’s an easy one to understand, and can be summed up with one word: Bureaucracies. Bureaucracies, from Washington DC to the local Driver’s License agency, or the Clerk’s office, wherever one lives, they all seem to have a way of making people get in line, get a number, then take a nap waking. That’s just the early part. Then they get a bit more power, get infested with a union or two, then become something out of Orwell, only to end up as an enemy of the people they once served.
Then, they get weaponized. I can’t wait to see myself get audited by the new and improved IRS, once all those thieves come to take my retirement from me.
Biden? All I can say is that since he was always a political animal and a two bit actor, and extensive liar, only a stolen election could put such an animal in the White House. Yes, we are a banana republic, now.
