News Ignored by the Legacy Liberal Media ; National television, radio, and newspapers have ceased to be widely respected sources of news in America. Most have relegated themselves to irrelevance.
Once-upon-a-time the five o’clock evening news on ABC, CBS and NBC were the audio-visual gold standard for what was happening, and the NYT and WaPo sourced the content.
The major radio stations took their lead from a cadre of news distributors like the Associated Press (AP) and the United Press International (UPI).
When I was 12-years old, my father would turn on our black and white TV, adjust the rabbit ears, and channel flip between the big three networks’ evening news. He’d sit by the box, pre-remote days, and flip between channels to illustrate how all the talking heads were reading nearly identical scripts. Not with the same words, but with the same key language.
The northeastern corridor of America drove the national narratives. And often still does. But their monopoly has eroded. Thanks to the internet.
The older generation still reads newspapers. The daily paper and coffee in the morning is, for some, a life-long habit and hard to break. But the big print media is circling the drain.
The good news is that the old news is dying.
The best news is that a new source has emerged that far eclipses the TV gibberish.
While the www isn’t all good news, it does offer true news for those with the interest to hunt for it.
The web is like a huge grocery store where you have to search for what you want, check the expiration date, and be alert to produce on the cusp of spoiling.
Its lead is YouTube.
Two examples of its value follow.
First, if you follow the Ukraine-Russia War, you’ll soon tire of watching Russian tanks burn. And small Ukrainian drones dropping grenade-sized ordinance into Russian trenches.
But if you want to understand how Russia is being impacted by Putin’s “special military operation” the Joe Blogs site documents the war’s growing negative impact on the Russian economy. And does so in clear and compelling detail.
A second example.
The widespread liberal prejudice of the Universities professoriates is generally acknowledged. Particularly in the soft humanities.
What isn’t widely acknowledged is that the liberal woke bias has spread into the K-12 Independent Public Schools (ISD). School teachers with Master’s degrees are following the Universities’ PhD lead.
A local TV news network may occasionally air a short segment where parents confront a school board with accusations illustrating how their children are being peppered with LGBTQAI+ and BLM propaganda. But the event seldom, if ever, makes it into the national news. But it does on YouTube.
On YouTube you see how parents are confronting school boards nationwide concerning teachers’ misuse of their classrooms as platforms to promote gender and race propaganda. The typical response from School Board members is to remain mute.
The picture above displays a High School student addressing his School Board. You can watch it here. It’s short.
The link here, dated over a year ago, is of a grade school girl addressing her school board over BLM signs in her school.

These parents are the people that the Biden Department of Justice says are national threats.
And, consequently, the legacy liberal media is ignoring this movement, hoping it will go away.
It isn’t going away. It’s growing.
