The Problem With Father’s Day

This Father’s Day 2024, the problem is fathers.  Not enough of them married to the mothers and not enough of them selflessly serving as good husbands and fathers.  Every social pathology in America comes back to the family.  The family is founded on fathers’ leadership and mothers’ nurturing love.

Every absurd attack on men being men as good husbands and fathers is based on the Human Secular Totalitarian ideology – commonly called “Cultural Marxism.”  This ideology runs five of seven institutions in America.  It’s competing for Family and Religion.  Most Americans don’t ascribe to it, but the ruling elites do.

That’s why there’s an uproar when a professional football player gives a commencement speech honoring marriage and women as mothers.  As is the case with men, every real attack on women, like letting men pretend to be women to dominate their sports and invade their privacy in bathrooms and locker rooms, comes from the same perverted ideology.

The Cultural Marxists must de-construct the family to destroy Christianity and Western Civilization.  They imagine they then can create a utopia on earth with people made more perfect by their control of government and all other institutions.

Admittedly, every institution has flaws.  Everything touched by human hands is flawed.  Even the best of things go wrong, because people are people, sinfully evil by nature even when they pretend not to be.  Selfishly prideful, greedy – and envy is a a resentful greed – when they pretend to be altruistic.  All those bad behaviors are written in the Bible.  As lessons on how to avoid them, not guidance for “how to” do them.  Every way a family can go wrong is revealed.

Which is precisely why the good examples and great teaching on good marriages with great families matter so much.

The best of families can have a prodigal son or daughter.  A mentally ill person.  Criminal kin.  Humans have free will.  Many in every generation will exercise free will for evil.

But the empirical evidence is clear that how marriage and family matter the most to limit social pathologies.  Drug use, alcohol abuse, crime, school success, lack of work ethic, even mental illness are mitigated by strong, Biblically based “good” families.

Culture Commands.

Nothing shapes Culture as much as the institutions of Religion and Family working in the home.  Not discounting the influence Education has in reinforcing or counter-acting Culture lived at home but looking at the fundamental shaping of personhood. Families matter, and good fathers are essential to families.

The bitter taunt, “A woman without a man is like a fish without a bicycle”, is an absurd lie just as is the notion of toxic masculinity.  Men and women were created for each other.  To be married.  To have children and raise families.  The individuals who choose not to do so have the freedom not to do it, but they lack moral authority to mock, criticize, and condemn those who have normal, traditional marriages and families.  Especially those who give it another effort after a marriage ends.

Again, every social pathology is mitigated or exacerbated by the family.  Every family is shaped by its religion – including the neo-pagan religions of “no-religion” or Human Secular Totalitarianism.  The State uses the government’s taxes, laws, policies, and spending to deal with symptoms of social pathologies.

The instruments of government never cure the causes from the human condition.  The State can make it worse.  Case in point: the Great Society’s destruction of Black families and institutionalizing the racial ghetto.

The Black “hood” cesspools of suffering and deprivation in America will go away when Black churches and families make it so.  The same is true for every family of every ethnicity seeking a better and more abundant life of opportunities over welfare.

There are millions of good fathers across America.  All Americans need to encourage many, many more millions to step up.  To strive for Biblical excellence by observing Biblical truths and living as strong Christian and Jewish men.

Let “Father knows best” ring true.

It’s not just that men and women were created for each other, it’s that men and women are incomplete without each other, and that notion just wholly offends those who are homosexual. We see queers — they are calling themselves that now, so I can as well — trying to couple up, because they instinctively realize that coupling up is part of our innate human nature, but it’s a sad and shallow mockery of what we are really meant to be. Even the heterosexual feminists, the ones who are completed with a husband, don’t like the facts, because those facts make them different from men, and in their minds, that also makes them inferior to men. Yeah, they married, but they didn’t have to, it was their free choice, don’t you know?
