Betwixt and Between

America is betwixt and between more things than you can shake a stick at.  The conflict with Iran is on the front burner.  Every election cycle at every level is another contest worth winning.  Every institution – Government, Business, Education, Media, Arts and Entertainment, Religion, and Family is caught in the crossfire of a No Mans Lands in the Great U.S. Culture War.  That’s the struggle against Cultural Marxism and it’s new, best ally – Islamist Totalitarianism.

Jesus’s Church in 2026!

After the 50th Wedding Anniversary celebrations for a Classmate and his wife in Florida, another Classmate and I went to church with them before we left for home.  It was another Evangelical church on fire for the Lord Jesus Christ!  So much so that they are planting another church about 15 minutes away.  On their own.  No help from any church hierarchy or authority.

Happy Easter 2026!

Usually, Sunday is when I pen (actually peck out) my weekly Op Ed.  What else should be written on Easter, other than Easter?  It’s the singularly greatest event since the creation of the Universe.  The point in time and space when the Creator of the Universe reconciled His created beings to Himself.  The Creator becoming one of his creations in the Incarnation is huge, but not as big as the Resurrection.

Good News for American Evangelical Protestants

Church

There’s always good news for Bible-based Evangelicals in the Good News of Lord Jesus Christ.  His Resurrection is celebrated every Sunday.  And, there’s good news in numbers, despite the gloom and doom data painting a Post-Christian America and death spiral for Western Civilization.  Bible-based Evangelical Protestants are growing – not as much as non-Believers and way less than possible, but growing.  Growing is good.

Virginia, Don’t Despair

In Virginia, the Democrats have all the levers of power at the state level for at least 2 years. A Muslim took her oath of office on the Koran. The Democrats – I prefer to more accurately name them as the Bolsheviks they are – have a statewide majority. Ugh. But, despair not, Virginians. It’ll be a rough go, but we must never, never, never, never quit.
