Chip Roy demands that Kamala Harris remove Joe Biden through the twenty-fifth amendment, which states that if the President is removed from office, by death or resignation, the Vice President will become President.
Chip Roy is an attorney and representative to the United States Congress for the Republican Party of the 21st district in the House of Representatives.
He alleges what even a blind man could see at this point, the current president of the United States Joe Biden, has repeatedly demonstrated that he is not fit to lead the country.
Roy has not been the first to demand this, at least publicly. Other influential voices such as Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green have also expressed it. The curious thing (to me) is that none of those who have proposed various ways to remove Biden from the presidency have gone beyond making some noise in the media or social media.
Zero serious steps to do so. Noticeably, there has been no citizen supervision with this or any other issue.
This step, although it seems simple, takes time, but it would also bring important consequences and that is why I want to focus on this.
It is not the same to call the devil as to see him coming.
Among the possible replacements for Joe Biden if this demand materializes are:
- Andy Beshear, a 46-year-old attorney who has been governor of Kentucky since 2009.
- Gretchen Whitmer, attorney, and former prosecutor, was a representative and senator in the Michigan legislature. She is the governor of this state.
- Jennifer Granholm, is a 65-year-old lawyer. She was the first female governor of Michigan. She is currently the federal secretary of energy.
- Gavin Newson, 56 years old. He was mayor of San Francisco and is currently governor of California.
- Michelle Obama, 60-year-old lawyer, former first lady. He has held several management positions at the University of Chicago and collaborated with several NGOs.
- Kamala Harris, a 59-year-old lawyer, was California’s attorney general and senator, currently the first female vice president of the United States.
Although in this short list, everyone has the academic preparation to -at least- be part of a potential replacement for the president of the United States in his current term, in reality, everyone’s administrative feats leave much to be desired.
Before considering this list of candidates, let’s stop to ponder the most delicate issue of this matter: Kamala Harris.
The woman who sold herself as the expected messiah to solve all the country’s problems with her running mate, has simply been the facilitator and propellant to a perverse agenda that has weakened the most powerful nation in the world to the brink of destruction.
The indignation caused by every one of the erratic feats that Joe Biden has presented as president of the United States during this administration has made too much noise, making us forget –at times– that she is a co-participant and complicit in absolutely everything, author in other cases, such as the issue of abortion.
There are too many issues, and mistakes that are not a coincidence anymore, nothing but actions made by people that do not love their country or their people.
All limits have been crossed and the entire structure and strength of the nation, which is until now, a fundamental pillar of freedom and security in the world, has been violated and broken.
What corresponds to any of the options that are on the table to remove Joe Biden from power is to put the vice president in his place. It is for this main reason that it is vitally important who is the running partner of whoever is president of the United States since he or she will be the one who is in charge.
Kamala Harris is a political hyena, who has shown that she will do whatever it takes to be in power. One of the many public displays of it, was when she made a fuss by calling Joe Biden a racist, before the presidential campaign of this term, and then ended up as his presidential running mate, sealing it with that nefarious “We did it Joe!” that the naive average citizen never could not understand at the moment.
On a personal side, what she did in Puerto Rico recently, is something I will never forget…
Joseph Biden is in no position for absolutely anything at the moment. I find it shameful that he is being subjected to abuse by being exposed in these conditions at his age, quite apart from criminal issues that he must face and my personal opinion about him, what is wrong must always be said, even if it is you alone against the world. Jill Biden is committing what is known as elderly abuse and no one is talking about this either. She is the first enabler of this situation.
However, to erase him from the picture, at least in administrative terms and from the public eye, would be a tragedy to the United States. To remove all obstacles from Kamala Harris so she can do what she wants is not very smart, to say the least. In five months, the damage that can be done is considerable.
The time that some invest in continuing to feed this idea, should rather be invested in educating the voting population. To date, even after seeing the pathetic show that the presidential debate turned out to be, some people will give a second chance to a man who could not even go down the steps of the stage where the debate event took place, a man who disappointed his voters and don´t deserve to be called American.
Four years in the office have been truly disastrous, but four more years would be deadly, and the inmature voters who plan to trust him along with Harris as a presidential duo, will not be responsible for the damage that a vote made from the emotions will do to the nation, to his fellow citizens and the world.
