Donald Trump Jr. Slams Media for Coverage of Assassination Attempt on His Father

Donald Trump Jr. took to “Fox & Friends” with a fiery critique of MSNBC’s coverage after an assassination attempt on his father, former President Donald Trump. Despite President Joe Biden’s call to “lower the temperature,” media sensationalism seemed to ramp up, turning into a whirlwind of speculation.

After the terrifying rally incident, where a shooter nearly killed Trump and a supporter was fatally wounded, MSNBC’s narrative raised eyebrows. Trump Jr., visibly angry, accused the network of downplaying the severity of his father’s injury and spinning conspiracy theories.

On MSNBC, former RNC chair Michael Steele questioned the injury’s extent, calling it a “spectacle” Trump might exploit for political gain. Host Ari Melber suggested that the handling of Trump’s injury could sway voter opinions.

Trump Jr. didn’t hold back, slamming what he called “Trump Derangement Syndrome” and painting a vivid picture of the bloody, close-call incident in Butler, Pennsylvania. He emphasized the seriousness of the attack, noting how close his father came to death.

Actor Mark Hamill added fuel to the fire, mocking Trump’s bandage on social media, which led to a significant backlash. Trump Jr. defended his father fiercely, reminding critics of the grim reality and dismantling leftist narratives with sharp remarks. Skywalker really needs to keep to science fiction, in my opinion.

This isn’t Trump Jr.’s first battle with the media. He has previously confronted misleading stories, like the debunked “kids in cages” claim, pointing to its origins in the Obama administration. His spirited rebuttals highlight an ongoing struggle against what he sees as biased media attacks.  The media attacks Trump with their fake stories on almost a daily basis, so there will always be more nonsense to debunk.
