A war has been raging since Barack Obama promised to fundamentally change America. It turns out “fundamental change” meant advancing the cause of communism by freeing the federal government from even acting like it servers the American public. It has now become a clear danger to our form of self-governance – a domestic threat.
After the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Chief of Naval Operations Ernest Joseph King reportedly said, “When they get in trouble, they send for the sons-of-bitches.” After the disastrous administration of Joe Biden, the American public has awakened to the fact that we are in big-time trouble. Hence, we heeded Admiral King’s advice, and sent for Donald Trump. He and his MAGA forces will be engaging the enemy next month. His attack needs to be long on strategy, because he isn’t going to have the element of surprise.
Strategically speaking, there is a lesson to be learned from the recent Israel/Iran conflict. On October 1, Iran attacked Israel with over 200 ballistic missiles. It was a childish attack, with no overarching strategy beyond to “break things and kill people.” As it happened, very little damage was done, making the attack long on bluster and short on target impact. But it still called for an Israeli response.
The Israeli Air Force responded on October 25, with a massive air assault – based on considerably more strategic forethought than the Iranians had used. The IDF destroyed key elements of the Iranian missile manufacturing infrastructure, and air defenses protecting Iran’s oil assets. The Israeli objective wasn’t to inflict a mass casualty event, it was to show that they can strike anywhere in Iran at will, and to degrade the enemy’s ability to mount a defense. Should additional military actions be required, IDF forces will face considerably less risk than before.
As President Trump prepares his forces to engage our domestic enemy, priority-one should be degrading the enemy’s ability to mount a defense – because they are much too dangerous to be left with their fangs. His first target must be the Department of Justice – the primary defensive force for the radical left, deep state, and the Democrat party which represents them.
The DoJ is now fully weaponized and has ceased defending the Constitution. It may prosecute crimes as convenient, but its primary mission is now to protect those subverting our republic, using the law enforcement powers which we have given it. The DoJ accomplishes its mission by
- Working to control the political narrative via leaks to friendly media and censorship of everything else,
- Using legal processes to harass those seeking to expose corruption (James O’Keefe),
- Leveraging national security powers to surveil political opponents (Kash Patel, George Papadopoulos, and Carter Page),
- Declining legal protection for whistleblowers exposing government corruption (Steve Friend, Kyle Seraphin, Gary Shapley and Joe Ziegler),
- Excusing criminal perjury, if done in the furtherance of preferred narratives (i.e. Christine Blasey Ford),
- Prosecuting Republicans, who defy Congress, to the fullest extent of the law (Peter Narro and Steve Bannon), while excusing Democrats who do the same (Eric Holder, Merrick Garland, and Alejandro Mayorkas)
- Overcharging the crimes of conservatives (January 6 vandals and trespassers) while undercharging those of the left (George Floyd rioters and murderers), and
- Engaging in lawfare, using rumor and creative interpretation of statutes to imprison political opponents (Donald Trump).
The DoJ has become the secret police of the Democrat party and those it represents. It shamelessly uses sweeping law enforcement authorities to advance the cause of the left by aggressively attacking its opponents while excusing the crimes of its allies. The forces of MAGA face grave personal risk if the DoJ is left at full strength as the war against our domestic-threats rages. Hence the Department of Justice must draw first fire with terminations and prosecutions.
Once an example is made of the DoJ, whistleblowers will be empowered to come forward, fighting congressional oversight will come with consequences, and bad actors throughout the deep state will realize that accountability is their new reality.
