Alligator Auschwitz?

The liberals are back at their playbook, comparing law and order to Naziism. Some things never change.

Colonel Adolf Eichmann (Stanley Tucci): Now, last summer Reichsführer Himmler asked me to visit a camp up in Upper Silesia, called Auschwitz, which is very well isolated, and close to significant rail access. And we are turning that camp into a major center, solid structures. And here’s where your Jewish labor comes into play, Herr Neumann, the Jews haul the bricks and they build the buildings themselves. And when the structures are complete, we expect to be able to process 2500… an hour. Not a day, an hour.

General Reinhard Heydrich (Kenneth Branagh): And those numbers look a lot better…

Eichmann: At 24 hours a day, that is 60,000.

Friedrich Kritzinger (David Threlfall): 60,000 each day…

Conspiracy (2001)

The last two weeks of the left’s propaganda made me think of this movie. For those who have not seen it, the film covers the January 1942 Wannsee Conference outside of Berlin. Fifteen high NAZI officials make plans for the Final Solution, the elimination of all Jews in Europe. The left, always addicted to hyperbole, is back to the NAZIs and the Holocaust.

To expedite the deportation of thousands of illegal aliens, the Department of Homeland Security, in coordination with the DeSantis administration, constructed a temporary holding faculty in the Everglades. Built in a month, Alligator Alcatraz will hold up to 5,000 illegal aliens as they are processed for deportation. A major factor in its location was close intersection of three Interstate Highways (I-10, I-75 and I-95).

On Facebook, I posted a meme of a satirical Yelp Review of the new facility.

A screenshot of a review AI-generated content may be incorrect.

A comment, “Next season, Naked and Afraid: Alligator Alcatraz,” made me die laughing. But I’ve seen countless people call this center, “Alligator Auschwitz,” and a Facebook friend said, “This is just a step away from a concentration camp.” Concentration camp?

The Final Solution targeted not invaders of Germany, but German (and later other nation’s) citizens. The crime they committed was being Jewish (also Gypsies, gays, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and disabled people). The goal, after robbing them of everything, was to eliminate every Jew within German control. Work them to death and process the survivors in the gas chambers.

I saw a reporter concerned that there were only three toilets per cell holding 12 persons. I doubt this woman has ever worked a public jail, that is about the ratio, one toilet to three or four prisoners. I know she has never spent time in the service. I mobilized in 2005 at Ft Polk (aka Fort Puke) LA in 2005. I stayed in a WWII barracks with one latrine for 60 men, with four open toilets, i.e., no privacy. Of course we had no air conditioning in the Louisiana heat, but we did have Asbestos (a sign warned us to not sweep the floors because of the hazard). I (and countless other veterans) can remember digging a slit latrine to preform out bodily functions in the open.

An air-conditioned tent with permanent toilets or porta-johns sound like luxury compared to what our soldiers endured.

The Holocaust was conducted, to the greatest degree possible, out of the public arena. There is no photo of Hitler near one of the camps during their operation. Nor did he sign an order for its planning and execution. Hitler never had to, his men knew what he wanted and executed.

Donald Trump campaigned on conducting the greatest deportation operation in America history. Politicians (both parties) are horrified he is actually keeping that promise. Since January, an estimated one million illegal aliens have self-deported. For Fiscal Year 2025, the US has deported over 200,000 illegal aliens, and has effectively closed the Southern border.

The effort of the Trump administration is not to keep and process illegal aliens, but to remove them from the US as quickly as possible. These are not American citizens but peoples of other nations. And unlike generations of immigrants before, the latest wave of “migrants” does not want to become Americans. They resist assimilation, refuse to learn our language, and in many cases resist our laws. We’ve seen thousands of rioters in California, New York and other major cities carrying Mexican flags. However, they will take taxpayer funded benefits and vote for those who support this.

To put this facility into perspective, Alligator Alcatraz is a jail, not a prison. A jail is used for temporary housing of persons in a legal process (e.g., just arrested, awaiting trial, etc.) A prison is a long-term facility for those who have had their cases adjudicated and sentence put forth by the court. For example, in Texas, counties have jails and can house people for up to two years. Only the state has prisons, and they confine inmates for up to their natural life.

Alligator Alcatraz is used for temporary confinement of illegal aliens, pending their transport to their home countries. This relieves already overburdened state incarceration facilities and uses natural predators to discourage escape. But unlike Auschwitz, the inmates here will, at some point in the future, walk out. And be sent back to their homes.

Which is where they belong. Got it?
