The Left is Done with Democracy

Regardless of their claims, leftists are done with self-governance – what they call democracy. They don’t give a wit about the will of the people. They want

• Narrative enforcement rather than law enforcement,
• Indoctrination rather than education,
• Taxation and regulation for enslavement rather than service, and
• Religious faith viewed as ignorant superstition rather than moral guidance.

Now the radicals are telling us that our time is up. It’s time to pick a side – their side … or else.

Americans are a peaceful lot, and most prefer comity over conflict. You know: Let’s all just get along, even if we have to accept a bit of insanity to keep the peace. Unfortunately, this desire for domestic tranquility has caused us to moderate our liberty, and empowered the radicals to chip away at our constitutional order … for decades.

But the radicals are done with the slow train to communism. They want us to board the bullet train, and they’re prepared to make war if necessary to achieve that.

The propagandists of the left call the current blue city unrest “mostly peaceful protest.” Observers on the political right call it “rioting.” Both fail to accurately describe the conflict. The violence spreading across the nation, is organized open warfare against the rule of law. It is a revolution against our form of government – the radicals declaring that the laws passed by our elected representatives are now null and void, by their determination.

Assassination and vandalism are now approved forms of political expression by the left. Intentionally damage a vehicle and a Soros DA will drop the charges – if the car was a Tesla. Murder a CEO in cold blood and California will name a bill in your honor – if the victim worked for a profit-based company.

Activist judges have corrupted the supposedly non-political branch of government. They have declared their fealty to the collectivists – issuing orders on demand, even without jurisdiction or legal debate. Courts are no longer places of justice and judges are no longer arbiters of fairness. The building with the blindfolded lady out front is just another battlefield in the war between collectivists and individualists.

Hostile governments are providing covert assistance to the radicals. They are sending saboteurs into America to steal technology and sew social unrest. These moles are quaintly called students with F-1 Visas.

This is all an outright assault on our self-governance, and Democrat politicians – the useful idiots of the radicals – are enabling and even cheering it on. Gavin Newsom claims the fact that not all of LA has burned down on his watch is cause for celebration, and proof that he should be trusted to only burn down part of America if given the chance. Tim Walz says that “communism is just folks helping each other,” which proves that he’s an idiot – though the 2024 election showed that he’s a bit lacking in the “useful” part of his job description.

The leftists are making it clear that they will no longer accept any middle ground. With their actions they are giving us their “best and final” offer. If we accept servitude, they will give us social order – albeit as subjects of a police state. However, if we insist on freedom, they will give us violence. We are at a decision point: Do we value freedom enough to fight for it?
