Democrat Culture: There Is No Resolving To A Reasonable Position Or Accommodation When Every Position Is Crazy-Town
I was recently struck by the faux outrage and pearl clutching backlash when NY Giants Quarterback Jaxson Dart committed the “outrageous act” of introducing the leader of the free world, the President of the United States of America. Dart spoke for barely 30 seconds, the actual simple act of introducing President Trump.
The offended class had an immediate, visceral, ridiculous reaction that provided a sad commentary on the state of America and freedom of speech. The LSMBTGANF reaction was “aghast,” with this extract typical: This sort of situation is one that new head coach John Harbaugh likely doesn’t want to have to deal with as he attempts to lay the foundation of his program with the Giants. That’s what happens when you have a young quarterback leading the way, though, as they make mistakes on and off the field.
The standard apparently obvious to many: how dare a National Felons League (NFL) quarterback who plays in the host state introduce the President of the United States in the state he is best associated with Memorial Day weekend honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.
Never mind traditions of the past, conventions of the present or the notion that our President is someone to look up to as the leader of this nation and the free world. How dare this be allowed to happen-supported-and by a white guy playing in a league that is a huge ANTIFA and Buy Large Mansions/Black Liberation Revival Movement, LGBTQ2SPIRITMOUSE advocate, notwithstanding the violence and professed support for organizations that advocate the undermining of the black nuclear family while promoting the cause and lunacy of butchering perfectly healthy-but dysphoric-mentally addled and confused children.
The over-the-top reaction is best summarized by Track’s teammate Dumb Schtick Jones. A second-year football player who was apparently inspired by the simple, somewhat honorific act to show us his fuzzy arse and make the following statement that reveals the ridiculous, petty, perennially offended and aggrieved, delusional righteous indignation of the pampered American sports hero persona typifying what has become common in the 21st century.
Where we have elevated largely overpaid athletes-many who have never pursued a serious thought in their life–into quasi and actual role models for youth via the arena in which they participate, the marketing selling the games they play and the merch they wear, video games and the like. A deification of athletes way beyond their true worth or value to society, who most often have straws in their own bath water, basking in the glow of their reflection in the mirror during their average 3.3 years of fame, fortune, glitter and delusion that is often-due to the nature of the sport-unfortunately interrupted and curtailed by injuries.
I’m painting with a fairly wide brush here, but check out this Jones quote. Abdul Carter on Jaxson Dart: ‘If He Chooses to Align with Trump, It’s My Responsibility to Show the World that I Stand Against It’. Oh, my and la di dah! He explained himself further by stating “Some things are bigger than football, and this is one of them.”
Dude, get over yourself: it’s not. Unless you mean the occasion where a president will speak about how we came to be a free nation in which a people can pursue any manner of vocation they desire. Whatever you have lapped up or cherry-picked from the LSMBTGANF propaganda is not of interest to those gathering for a Memorial Day speech that celebrates the sacrifices of those who gave their all for this nation.
The good news is that Dart made a clarifying statement highlighting his love for this country and the service of his family and did not apologize: cause there was nothing to apologize for, whereas Carter came across as a bit of a foo.
Dart has since refused to take the bait that his actions were political. Not every act has to be because of the pundits.
Memorial Weekend and a man with a family history of military service had a chance to stand up, lead a cheer for your football team and introduce the President of the United States: what is not to like? Tell us you are confused about what it means to be a team player without saying a word about it.
Provide some insight on why it has suddenly–in the minds of some of these pampered, light brained athletes–become “political” for athletes and sports teams to enjoy national recognition through the privilege of visiting the White House and the President because athletes-sports players-aren’t smart enough to separate out symbolism from privilege from rights from dogma and propaganda.
In truth it is the equivalent of silly season for football, where the marketing geniuses in the front office of the NFL work to promote stories of interest 24x7x365. Which often exposes the sordid underbelly of newfound fame meeting immature brains colliding with society exposing the danger of newfound wealth. An entire mansion industry (much larger than mere “cottage”) has grown up and around the NFL to keep the interest and reach fans in the off-season. Often representing a double-edged sword when the headlines aren’t so good, typified by the hype of the draft fever and the latest word on those multi-million-dollar contracts and the shenanigans ongoing behind the scenes where teams vie to get the upper hand.
I’m not sure what’s worse here, the fact that Jones felt such righteous indignation over the act sufficient to come public with it rather than simply discussing it with his quarterback if it bothered him so much (his social media commentary indicated that his first reaction was the belief that it must be AI-so apparently foreign to his beliefs this act of introducing the President of the United States of America.)
Or the fact that it became a story-a thing-in the first place, during a time when this great nation was paying tribute to the fallen-American military-who made the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives for this country-a tribute led by our President to ensure that our nation never forgets the men and women who made this life we live today possible.
There is a comedy routine by Rob Schneider that perhaps says it best (spicy Army language alert, this video might be a bit much for some) from many Veterans viewpoint-there is Memorial Day Weekend and there is Veteran’s Day. Memorial Day is inexplicably followed by a month dedicated to people suffering from sexual dysphoria: dedicated to the celebration of a quasi-mental illness or sexual delusion or confusion that somehow merits an entire month in the view of our political class who makes things like this happen.
Raw analysis indicates our leaders care more about-and therefore showcase-aberrant lifestyles over our sons and daughters who gave their lives for our freedom.
Which makes sense in the context of this incident when you consider that the marketing arm of the NFL as represented by the LSMBTGANF thought it was a great idea to fan the “controversy” as if it is a thing: and therefore, made it so. Unwittingly embracing the genius of the focus of their ire-Trump-whose marketing acumen often results in dominating the news and enjoying the coverage-whether good or bad.
Then there are those who are posers and suck ups and pretenders like the NYC mayor, who expose themselves with every action they take and those they don’t. A NYC mayor skipping the Israel Parade is a first since 1964.
Our culture is exposed through these little vignettes of societal lamebrainery that have become increasingly criminal-and lethal-in the era of Trump. Nearly every day you see some mindless twit numbnuts losing their schtick because some citizen-in America-wears a red hat or offers support of our nation or president or makes a statement as an expression of the right to free speech. That must be countered by some dim wit or ignorant thin skinned dumb arse who is confused about such rights to the point where they lack any cogent or informed rebuttal, often reduced to resort to anger, profanity, spittle and violence. Throwing drinks, sandwiches, accosting people engaged in civil discourse, ripping up signs and posters, and in extreme cases, killing people.
This most recent example of Army veteran Kerry Sheron, 69 being attacked and killed for expressing his patriotic beliefs and support for our President says a lot about the state of culture and values in America. The perp is apparently a Navy Vet who has mental issues, with the tragic irony being police reportedly puzzled over the motive.
I almost prefer to believe there is a mental disorder at play than believe any veteran would lack the basic common decency that a 32-year-old should not attack a 69-year old man celebrating America and showing patriotism, with such malice, hatred and ferocity that it results in murder. Such an act flies in the face of everything taught in the military-with the exception of the anomalous period under Biden where there was an attack on the historic value system undergirding military service to this nation-which may explain why he is former military, but time will tell.
Leaders and the LSMBTGANF are to blame at all levels, but particularly politicians-who are leading the righteous indignation theater drum beat as a flailing-and failing-feckless effort to message while out of power. People like Senator Tim Kaine, a man who-in defiance of common sense, logic and his position-believes that our rights come from government. Notwithstanding his oath of office to serve as a Senator and abide by the constitution, with fealty to the rights described therein, including life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. As expressed in those binding documents he took an oath to uphold that among other things endow the right to free speech and bear arms.
The propaganda play being that if rights come from government, then the government-at all levels-can curtail those rights. And people of all stripes and the LSMBTGANF can support the effort to limit and restrict those rights as free speech when exercised in opposition to their opinion. Which is a good tactic and message for places like Russia and North Korea that suffer under dictators, but every American should know that such thoughts, tactics and actions are anathema to America’s founding principles and the ideals that every citizen should subscribe and strive to achieve and live by.
Memorial Day honors those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in pursuit of those rights on this earth.
If we as a people subscribe to and abide by people who believe that violence is an appropriate response to someone expressing an opinion we don’t support, or wearing political emblems or badges, or an opposing teams’ colors, or the wrong gang colors or whatever, that will always end in tragedy.
Might does not make right in the final analysis, particularly in a constitutional republic.
We need leaders to step up and speak up about these egregious acts that undermine our values. But you must have values in the first place in order to recognize and call out these problems.
Which is problematic from a political standpoint that seeks power as a means to an end, and emblematic of where we find ourselves in the 21st century where common sense ain’t so common and politicians well understand that one has to be in power to wield power.
Which increasingly justifies the means to obtain it (power.) Under conditions where we can have the most anomalous election in American history and be so incurious to remedy such results as to be revealing. While identifying the underlying issues that resulted in this travesty 6 years later when it is too late to do anything about it but wring our hands and lament the ensuing disaster that unfolded on our country.
AG Barr said at one point that the “victors write the history.” Another historian wrote that “nobody writes about treason if it is successful, by definition.”
This recent Federalist article by Brianna Lymon explains how this century in particular explains why many of the usual suspects question what there is to celebrate about America’s Semiquincentennial. From the piece:
MS Now’s Ali Velshi said Sunday he feels a “deep unease” about celebrating America’s 250th birthday because America “has never actually fully reckoned with its racist past and its original founding sin of slavery.”
“I feel a deep unease about the celebrations to which I am invited to mark the 250th anniversary of our so-called democracy,” the Kenyan-born, Canadian raised, now-American-citizen said.
Perhaps a Kenyan-born, Canadian raised now American is unfamiliar with-never heard of-or learned about the Civil War. Maybe he could do some research on such topics before spouting off about a personal opinion that probably sounds erudite and sophisticated in lefty land but truly shows enormous ignorance about the state of the world writ large today.
Meanwhile we already have the delusional left working to fulfill their own prophesy of a lack of excitement for the event by undermining the celebration through plans for disruption and actual criminal acts against ongoing celebration planning. Because-it would not be a celebration without the pesky and delusional left cabal of protestors throwing tantrums, spouting inanities, howling at the clouds and disparaging the loss of their freedom and rights while they abuse the privilege of freedom and rights to ruin the celebration for any and all who would dare to celebrate the greatest country in the world.
Not to mention the freedom that allows them to be as childish, idjiotic, loud and obnoxious as they desire while showing the world how it is done when you are a spoiled, entitled, insufferable simpleton in a free country.
