[An open letter to James “The Ragin Cajun” Carville.]
Hi James. I saw you on Fox News’ The Sunday Briefing the other day. I was surprised to see that you’re a bit peeved at the current direction of the Democrat party. You said:
I am not going to be in the same party with Hasan Piker. If he becomes a force in a Democratic Party, I’m out of here. I have no intention of ever being in the same political party with that guy.
I giggled when I heard that, because you remind me of the good doctor whom Mary Shelley wrote about. You know, the guy who couldn’t live with what he had created. You see James, Hasan Piker is where you helped take the Democrat party.
I’m no Gen Z robot, programmed by the academic commies to burn down my house and blame it on the privileged. I learned to look at things objectively. Well objectively, I’ve been watching the political winds for over 70 years, and you’ve been a significant influence for at least 40 of them. I can think of no single person who has coarsened American politics more than yourself. I think it’s rich that you don’t like the product of your life’s work.
When President “Slick Willy” Clinton was shtupping interns in the West Wing, I don’t recall you demanding his impeachment – you know, out of principle. I do recall you calling his victims “trailer trash” – proving that the occupants of manufactured homes have far more class than you do.
When Secretary “Mao-Jackets” Clinton handed control of our uranium to Russia, you didn’t demand that President “Fundamentally Transform America” Obama fire her. You endorsed her to be his successor.
When Joe “10 Percent for the Big Guy” Biden ran his cash for influence syndicate, you didn’t advise America to keep him as far away from the Oval Office as possible. You urged the Democrat party to rally behind him.
When Congresswoman Sandy Cortez went on her Fighting the Oligarchy tour, you didn’t advise us that socialist bartenders don’t understand the difference between wealth creators and wealth takers. You said you’d vote for her if she got the presidential nomination.
Now that credible evidence has emerged of Congresswoman “Brotherly Love” Omar’s involvement in the biggest fraud on American taxpayers in history, you haven’t called for a full investigation. You’ve suggested that Ilhan Omar resign, for the good of the party – notably, not the good of the country. How very patriotic of you.
When Congresswoman Tlaib expressed her solidarity with the Hamas murderers and rapists by displaying a Palestinian flag outside her office, you didn’t call for her censure. That would have been a principled position – not yours.
I will admit that you demanded Maine’s Nazi womanizing antisemite candidate for the Senate, drop out of the campaign – but only after his polling went south. I’m trying to figure out what principle that timing was serving.
You backed all of that, but now Hasan Piker is your red line? Don’t you see he’s a product of a party with no core values – a party which you helped to mold in your own image?
James, you have backed every Democrat crook, radical, or pervert who looked like they might be able to win. Your message to the Democrat party has been that “principles” are for chumps. Screw America, winning is all that matters. Now you’re upset that your leadership has led to Hasam Piker – what irony.
But what exactly is the difference between the two of you? You backed anyone intent on destroying America who had a “D” behind his name, and Piker says he’s backing anyone intent on destroying America with a “DSA” behind his name. Do you resent being the party’s next Boomer “has been,” or does being around honesty just give you a rash? Regardless, it looks to me like you’re only pitching a hissy fit now because Hasan Piker is emerging as “James Carville 2.0” in the Democrat party – the guy willing to sell his soul to Satan for a few votes.
So, go ahead James – stamp your feet and leave the party. You’ll be the tenant who trashes a property, and then bitches about the squalor as he moves out. You can leave the party which you helped to create, but you can’t change what you leave behind for someone else to clean up. You have been every bit as destructive to America, as that Piker guy will be — the guy you refuse to share your toys with.
