This is the fourth post in the ongoing weekly feature that highlights news and commentary on important geopolitical, cultural, and economic issues that the Democrat-media complex buries because they expose the hypocrisies associated with the continuing Marxist-Democrat narrative. Everything is properly sourced and linked for follow-up reading, whether from legacy media, independent sources, or social media.

Woke Editor(s) at the Seattle Times. Breitbart reported that “Matt Calkins, sports columnist for the Seattle Times, resigned from the outlet after 11 years, claiming that editors spiked his op-ed defending Sophie Cunningham.”
Who is Sophie Cunningham? She is a Christian guard with the Indiana Fever in the WNBA and outspoken teammate of Caitlin Clark, who ignited intense backlash in mid-2026 after stating in an ESPN profile that she wants to “protect young girls in a locker room” and that they “shouldn’t have to go against biological men.” She doubled down days later, calling the position common sense and affirming her desire to love while standing for truth and the rights of biological women.
From a conservative Christian perspective grounded in the biblical understanding that God created humanity male and female as distinct and complementary (Genesis 1:27), her remarks simply restate observable biological reality and the importance of safeguarding fairness, privacy, and safety in women’s sports—spaces designed for those born female.
The resulting fury from progressive corners of the WNBA, including union statements decrying “hate,” opposing signs and shirts at games, booing of Cunningham, and even a Storm co-owner confronting teenage fans who supported her, reveals a cultural refusal to accept God’s design and an intolerance for women who refuse to yield truth to ideology.
Cunningham, who publicly recommitted to her faith through adult baptism and has spoken of wanting a husband who leads toward Christ, has consistently rejected hatred while insisting that genuine love includes honesty. Conservative Christians see her as a courageous voice refusing to bow to the “god of confusion” that seeks to erase sex-based categories, much as many believers view similar stands by figures like Riley Gaines.
The episode underscores a broader clash: one side prioritizes feelings and affirmation of gender identity over physical reality and women’s opportunities; the other upholds the created order, the integrity of female athletics, and the right of athletes and young girls to compete and change without the presence of biological males. In this light, the controversy is less about one player’s opinions and more about whether society will continue to honor the distinctions God established or punish those who still do.

Resurrecting the Monroe Doctrine. The Monroe Doctrine, announced by President James Monroe in his 1823 address to Congress, aimed to prevent further European colonization or political interference in the independent nations of the Western Hemisphere. Its core intent was to establish the Americas as a distinct sphere of U.S. interest, warning European powers that any such intervention would be viewed as a threat to American peace and security, while pledging that the United States would refrain from involvement in European conflicts.
Over the past century, the Monroe Doctrine has been eroded by the United States’ shift toward global priorities during the Cold War and beyond, the rise of multilateral institutions that emphasized collective rather than unilateral action, and the increasing economic and political penetration of the Western Hemisphere by extra-hemispheric powers such as China and Russia, a trend formalized when the Obama administration declared in 2013 that the doctrine’s era had ended.
Enter President Trump and the Donroe Doctrine aimed a restoring the original purpose and intent of the Monroe Doctrine.
Also called the Trump Corollary to the Monroe Doctrine, this is a foreign-policy framework associated with President Donald Trump’s second administration. It updates the 1823 Monroe Doctrine, which originally warned European powers against interfering in the Western Hemisphere, by asserting renewed U.S. predominance across the Americas. The administration’s 2025 National Security Strategy explicitly calls for reasserting and enforcing the Monroe Doctrine to restore American pre-eminence, protect the homeland from migration and drug flows, and counter growing influence from China, Russia, and other external actors. This is a necessary restoration of U.S. primacy and regional stability.
The Democrat-media complex have buried the positive results. Can’t have any media reports about Trump accomplishments before the midterms, don’t ya know? Democrat Money Spigot Drying Up. The article linked below contains extremely troubling news for the Democrat Party. “ActBlue co-founder Matt DeBergalis sat before the Committee on House Administration, the House Oversight Committee, and the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday and declined to answer a single substantive question during a closed-door deposition that reportedly lasted less than half an hour. DeBergalis invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination and left.”
What preceded this non-deposition were credible allegations that ActBlue—the primary online fundraising platform for Democrat candidates and causes—has enabled widespread fraud through inadequate donor verification and deliberately weakened safeguards. Investigations claim the platform processed straw or “dummy” donations (often attributed in large volumes to elderly individuals who later disputed the records), accepted contributions via prepaid cards and gift cards that obscure identity, and allowed illegal foreign donations, with internal data showing hundreds of transactions from foreign IP addresses using domestic prepaid cards and at least 22 significant fraud campaigns, nearly half with a foreign nexus. Critics further point to internal ActBlue guidance instructing staff to “look for reasons to accept contributions” even when suspicious, along with alleged misrepresentations to Congress about passport checks and other controls.
According to ActBlue’s own announcements, the platform has raised (collected and largely disbursed as a conduit) more than $19 billion in contributions since its founding in 2004, primarily for Democratic candidates, party committees, and progressive organizations and causes. This milestone was publicly celebrated by ActBlue in June 2026.
There have been reports of a mass exodus from the platform’s legal and compliance teams after the 2024 election as the above allegations began to surface, with several current and former employees, including the CEO and cofounder DeBergalis, invoking the Fifth Amendment during depositions as noted below (and ignored by the Democrat-media complex).
Democrats Collude with Another Foreign Government. Democrats have a history of colluding with foreign governments in opposition to policies of sitting Republican presidents (and against the American people). Some examples:
In 1970, John Kerry met in Paris with North Vietnamese and Viet Cong representatives during the ongoing Vietnam War during the Nixon administration. This included Madame Nguyen Thi Binh, the foreign minister of the Provisional Revolutionary Government (the Viet Cong’s political arm). This meeting with the enemy during wartime crossed legal and ethical lines, potentially violated the Logan Act spirit (barring private citizens from negotiating with foreign governments), and effectively amplified the communist position against a sitting U.S. president’s war policy while on foreign soil.
A highly classified 1983 KGB memorandum from head Viktor Chebrikov to Soviet leader Yuri Andropov described an overture from Sen. Ted Kennedy, relayed through his friend and former Sen. John Tunney. According to the memo, Kennedy expressed deep concern over U.S.-Soviet tensions (which he blamed primarily on President Reagan’s policies) and proposed steps to “counter the militaristic politics of Reagan.” This included suggestions that the Soviets improve their public messaging in the U.S., arrange television interviews with Andropov for American audiences, and potentially meet with Kennedy himself. Another Logan Act violation!
In 2018, John Kerry engaged in shadow diplomacy to try to preserve the Iran nuclear deal (the JCPOA), a major diplomatic achievement of his. According to CNN, he had been holding meetings and speaking with big players in the Iran nuclear agreement, who, like Kerry, did not want President Trump to withdraw the U.S. from the deal.
At the 2026 Munich Security Conference in February, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) both spoke critically of President Trump’s foreign policy approach while in Germany. Ocasio-Cortez described Trump as seeking to withdraw the United States from global engagement in a way that risked an “age of authoritarianism.” Newsom similarly accused the administration of ushering in authoritarianism. Shameful.
Thus, it should come as no surprise that there are reports that the 2026 Democrats are colluding with the Canadian government for political gain (in their minds). As noted in the below linked article, “Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney appointed a long-time Democrat political operative [Maia Johnson, formerly Director of Scheduling for the failed Hillary Clinton presidential campaign] to a newly-created senior position in his government.”

Shade “National Security Action” Advocacy Organization Exposed. Analyst Jennica Pound (@DataRepublican on X) has performed another valuable service by exposing the leftwing Democrat advocacy group that has been focused on, among other things, “the final goal to rewrite the relationship between the military and the executive branch.” She lays bare the 8-year runup to the Seditious Six video released by six Democrat members of Congress in November 2025. That video was no accident!
National Security Action is a left-of-center advocacy organization focused on U.S. foreign policy and national security. It was founded in February 2018 primarily by former Obama administration officials Ben Rhodes (former deputy national security adviser) and Jake Sullivan (who later served as national security adviser to President Biden). It is structured as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit and is based in Washington, DC. It has been funded by George Soros and the Open Society Institute.
Read about the organization that placed dozens of people in the Biden regime’s national security and foreign policy apparatus, and one of its key players (Rosa Brooks) below. Definitely NOT something that the Democrat-media complex will ever report on honestly!
Democrat “Vote Machine” Exposed. Democrats have built a highly organized, data-driven electoral infrastructure (a “vote machine”) that combines advanced voter-file analytics, micro-targeting, and digital tools with large-scale small-dollar fundraising (primarily through ActBlue), coordinated grassroots and union canvassing, partnerships with progressive nonprofits for registration and turnout, and strong emphasis on ballot harvesting through early, mail-in, and absentee voting.
The Capital Research Center has just published a 64-page report that describes “a sprawling network of left-wing donors and organizations [that] poured roughly $638 million through tax-exempt voter-registration and get-out-the-vote groups during the 2024 election cycle as part of what researchers describe as a sophisticated, Democrat-favoring “vote machine” operating through the charitable sector and extending into future elections.”

“Nothing is Happening” (Sayeth the Blackpillers). Blackpillers on the political right are pessimistic social media influencers who argue the Trump administration has fallen short of its mass-deportation promises, treating current enforcement (hundreds of thousands of removals annually, sharp border drops) as inadequate against tens of millions of illegal immigrants and long-term demographic change. They frame the effort as too slow, too focused on criminals rather than broad removals, or compromised by pauses and selective targeting, concluding that meaningful reversal is unlikely and the situation remains effectively irreversible. A mediamatters.org +1notable example is Nick Fuentes, who has repeatedly called the pace and scope insufficient and overly restrained.
Despite near-continuous Democrat activist judge stays, DHS has deported ~600,000 illegals to date, with an estimated 2.2 million who have “self-deported” since January 2025. In addition, ICE’s non-detained docket stood at about 7.3 million as of late February 2026, including an estimated 1.6 million with final orders of removal while the congress.gov
immigration court backlog remains in the millions of pending cases. Yeah, “nothing is happening.”
The latest news is that “ICE has quietly carried out one of its most successful operations in agency history, resulting in the arrests of 1,328 illegal aliens in just a 14-day span in the states of Virginia & Maryland. Nearly 400 of the aliens had criminal convictions or pending criminal charges.”

California Democrats Crave Darkness to Hide Their Fraud and Corruption. Nick Shirley is a young American conservative YouTuber, content creator, and self-described independent journalist (born 2002) known for confrontational street interviews, on-the-ground videos, and investigations into alleged government waste and fraud. He rose to national prominence in late 2025 with viral videos alleging fraud at Somali-run childcare and healthcare providers in Minnesota, and has since expanded his focus to other states while testifying before Congress.
In California, Shirley has claimed to uncover widespread hospice, daycare, and healthcare fraud involving Medi-Cal/Medicaid billing, asserting he identified roughly $170 million in suspicious payments by visiting facilities that appeared empty, poorly marked (e.g., paper signs on doors), or unable to account for patients, along with anomalous spending data. He has also highlighted issues with voter rolls (such as registrations tied to deceased individuals or unusual addresses).
The Democrat-media complex can’t have any more of those embarrassing disclosures, particularly in an election year, because fraud is a topic that resonates with EVERYONE (except those in on it). Enter the California Democrats who rushed through a bill signed out by Gov. “Gruesome” Newsom (D) last Saturday the “imposes penalties on people who distribute information or images of covered immigration workers under circumstances the law defines as inciting violence or threats.”
As the below linked article reports, “Critics argue the language could discourage journalists from investigating nonprofit workers suspected of fraud or misconduct.”
Is the LGBTQ Movement Cracking Up? The modern LGBTQI movement is a rejection of biblical teaching on God’s design for human sexuality—limited to the complementary union of man and woman in marriage—and as an aggressive ideology that redefines sex itself as fluid rather than binary and immutable. Critics argue it prioritizes adult desires and contested gender identity claims over children’s safeguarding, parental authority, women’s single-sex spaces, and religious liberty, often using institutional power in schools, corporations, and government to enforce affirmation and silence dissent.
While framed as a civil-rights cause, many Christian conservatives view its rapid cultural dominance and medicalization of minors as a form of social engineering that has produced measurable harm and invites divine judgment. As a result, there has been measurable public and legislative resistance amid concerns about rapid social change and contested scientific claims pushed in particular by progressive elements in the Democrat Party.
The below think piece speculates that the movement may be “cracking up” a bit based on a recent vote by the Log Cabin Republicans: “Log Cabin Republicans, a major LGB group on the Right that will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year, voted to remove the ‘T’ from its advocacy.” That’s a big deal since the transgender craze has been the “next big frontier” to be conquered by the movement – at least during the Biden years. Italy-based Digital Infrastructure Network Identified that Support Antifa Groups in the U.S. The Democrat-media complex has been bleating for years that “Antifa is just an idea (there is no real organization).” In reality, Antifa (short for “anti-fascist”) is a decentralized, far-left movement and ideology rather than a single hierarchical organization, with roots in interwar European anti-fascism and later U.S. anti-racist networks. Adherents—often drawing from anarchist, socialist, or communist views—aim to prevent what they broadly define as fascism, white supremacy, and related right-wing organizing. Typical tactics include black-bloc anonymity (all-black clothing and masks), doxxing, counter-protests, vandalism and property damage, and, among a militant subset, violent physical assaults or clashes with perceived opponents and police, often coordinated via encrypted apps and small trusted cells.
Some of that coordination has been exposed in recent days, as noted in the article linked below. “[O]ne Italy-based group was providing digital infrastructure to the violent far-left [Antifa] networks operating in the United States and overseas. It’s called Autistici/Inventati, or the A/I Collective. And the United States just designated this group a Specially Designated Global Terrorist… They supplied the digital tools that allowed violent groups to communicate and operate like a terror network.”
The Democrats have benefited politically by their tacit support for street protestors during the Trump years, and Antifa has provided the coordination, bodies, and muscle behind numerous protests across the U.S., especially violent actions in the Pacific Northwest. Naturally, Democrats are silent on this breaking news. Read more below:
Sham Study Used by Greenies in Lawsuits Against Hydrocarbon Fuel Companies. Lastly, the green edifice has exhibited yet another crack in its façade. Green new deal activists have been shouting “trust the science” in their efforts to cram green energy projects down America’s throat for decades now. “Trust” means trust the experts, and particularly the models that have been predicting climate catastrophes for years. Actually, the climate-model ensembles that underpinned much activist messaging have repeatedly run hotter than observed warming, undercutting claims that the most alarming projections were the scientifically expected outcome. The IPCC itself has had to down-weight those “hot models” rather than treat the raw multi-model mean as “policy-ready” on which governments should act.
Now comes news that a “trusted expert group” (the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine – NASEM) has allegedly produced a biased climate report that was designed to support lawsuits against hydrocarbon (a/k/a fossil) fuel companies. The below linked report also notes that “the Bezos Earth Fund, […] helped fund the NASEM report and previously announced a $100 million grant to the Natural Resources Defense Council and $15 million to the Union of Concerned Scientists.” That’s your basic leftwing conflict of interest in a supposedly independent report. And mum’s the word from all the greenies in the Democrat-media complex who have been grifting the Green New Deal in recent years!
