News items and commentary that need some serious sunshine
This is the twelfth post in the ongoing weekly feature that highlights news and commentary on important geopolitical, cultural, and economic issues that the Democrat-media complex buries because they expose the hypocrisies associated with the continuing Marxist-Democrat narrative. Everything is properly sourced and linked for follow-up reading, whether from legacy media, independent sources, or social media.
Here we go!
The Deeper Stakes of the Mid-Term Elections. Victor Davis Hanson is an American classicist, military historian, and conservative political commentator who currently serves as the Martin and Illie Anderson Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, and is a well-known columnist for publications like the National Review, New York Times, and Wall Street Journal. In the article linked below, Hanson argues that the 2026 midterms are “deep” or existential, going beyond typical issues like gas prices (~$4.33/gallon), Trump’s low approval ratings (38–40%), or the Iran war.
Historically the White House party loses seats about 88% of the time, yet he notes strong economic indicators (Atlanta Fed ~5% Q4 growth, record energy output, high incomes, low poverty, inflation better than under Biden). The real stakes, he says, are a Democrat Party he describes as a “democratic socialist-Islamist” coalition far outside American norms—pushing defund-the-police, open borders, mass amnesty, anti-fossil-fuel policies, and favoring certain Middle Eastern positions over Israel. This is driving a massive, ongoing exodus of 4–5 million people from blue states (larger than the Dust Bowl or Great Migration), creating a geographic-ideological split reminiscent of the 1850s, with worse outcomes on taxes, crime, housing, and other metrics in those states. Hanson highlights candidates’ prior statements (e.g., calling the U.S. the worst country, excusing terrorism, or targeting “white” neighborhoods/homeownership) that they do not genuinely disavow, framing the election as a choice about the country’s fundamental future rather than peripheral fixes.
The Democrat-media complex wants nothing to do with VDH’s excellent analysis, of course. Read the whole thing here:
Chaos, Inc. in France. The imagery of the burning 19th century city hall building in Limoges, France, has shocked the world. The Democrat-media complex (including international legacy media) has been doing their damnedest to portray the violent riots in France and other French cities as “student protests about underfunded schools.” Fortunately, there are a few real journalists out there who have discovered that the student narrative is just a cover for the real perpetrators. As described in the below-linked article, a Fox News investigation by Asra Nomani identified 54 organizations in the protest ecosystem, of which only about one-third were genuine student or youth groups while the remaining 38 were adult-led communist parties, revolutionary socialists, labor unions (such as the CGT), political movements including La France Insoumise and the Gilets jaunes, Islamist elements, and international propaganda outlets.
The unrest is portrayed as part of a transnational “Chaos Inc” franchise model linked to Neville Roy Singham’s network (via Tricontinental, CodePink, and BreakThrough News), which seizes local grievances, frames them as systemic oppression, amplifies them globally, and promotes a red-green alliance of communists and Islamists (evident in hammer-and-sickle flags alongside Palestinian keffiyehs). The same networks are already organizing a coordinated strike across 12 European countries on November 20 under the slogan “Fight for Our Future, Not Their Wars!”, involving 28 communist and socialist youth organizations, treating the French events as the latest local franchise of a project aimed at weakening ordered Western societies rather than organic student discontent.
No wonder the Democrats are trying to spin the French riots as “student protests”; these same groups are Democrat/DSA political allies in the U.S. Read the whole thing here:
The French Just Blew Up the Democrats’ Antifa Narrative. Antifa (short for anti-fascist) is a decentralized, leaderless political movement composed of autonomous local groups and individuals who oppose fascism, white supremacy, and far-right extremism. It is not a single organization with a central hierarchy, membership list, or formal leadership, but rather an ideology and loose network of activists who share goals of anti-racism, anti-authoritarianism, and often anti-capitalism. Many prominent Democrats have characterized Antifa as an ideology or movement rather than a structured group. Well, the French police just blew up that argument as they continue to unravel who is behind the Paris riots. As reported by Jonathan Turley, French police have identified Antifa as the largest of three “ideologically distinct groups” responsible for the recent violent riots in France—linked to a banned Antifa faction involved in a murder, with Antifa and communist flags prominent in the protests and a Belgian minister also blaming the group—exposing the long-standing Democratic myth that Antifa does not exist.
Turley compares the denials by figures such as Rep. Dan Goldman, former Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler, and others (who have called it a “myth,” “chupacabra,” or nonexistent idea) to the “greatest trick the devil ever pulled” of convincing the world it does not exist, akin to Keyser Söze, even as members have been charged with crimes including terrorism, self-identified in attacks, elected to French and European parliaments, and described in works like Mark Bray’s Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook as opposed to free speech. Turley notes prior Democratic praise or associations (e.g., Keith Ellison) and concludes that authorities in France, Belgium, and elsewhere either are delusional or the American left’s denial strategy has been unmasked.
What lies will the Democrats tell us about Antifa now? Read the whole thing here:
The Biggest Bombshell Yet! Leftist activists and Democrat operatives (pretty much synonymous) have been planning the destruction and reordering of our constitutional republic, unbeknownst to most of us. Jennica Pounds has performed an amazing public service in exposing the details. As laid out in the below-linked post, her primer on the “Illegitimacy Playbook / Democracy Files” explains that after DOGE shut down USAID, its former Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG) office staff formed the Democracy Renewal Group (same initials) and Renew American Democracy to apply the color-revolution model—previously used via USAID in Serbia, Georgia, Ukraine, and elsewhere—to the United States itself.
Using a “4 B’s” framework (Block via lawfare and protests, Bridge & Belong through dialogue control, and Build by redesigning government), they aim to leverage a crisis (such as an “election meltdown” or Insurrection Act response to protests) for a “refounding” structural reform by 2028, including ideas discussed with DSA that go beyond the Constitution. The United Democracy Alliance (UDA), a secretive “galaxy” of groups including Indivisible, 50501, MoveOn, and No Kings (linked to Erica Chenoweth’s 3.5% rule), handles blocking operations under Rear Admiral Mike Smith’s National Security Leaders for America (NSL4A, ~1,600 ex-officers), which monitors privately defined “red lines” that would deem the federal government illegitimate and trigger responses like states withholding resources or a “Third Continental Congress.” Drawing on accidentally published Renew to Thrive recordings and documents, the post argues that career regime-change specialists have privately written legitimacy tests for America and planned post-crisis governance, involving thousands of NGOs and billions in funding.
This is the very essence of a seditious conspiracy and a “color revolution” (explained in the next item below) – here in America! The Democrat-media complex is frantic about keeping this buried until after 3 November. Read more about what she exposed here:
The Color Revolution in America Explained. Color revolutions are a series of often non-violent mass protests and political uprisings, primarily occurring in various countries aimed at replacing semi-autocratic governments through electoral disputes. The term originated from movements that adopted specific colors or flowers as symbols, such as the Orange Revolution in Ukraine (2004), the Rose Revolution in Georgia (2003), and the Tulip Revolution in Kyrgyzstan (2005). Critics contend that the Brazil 2022 election that brought in a communist president was a more recent example. There is no coincidence that 7 elections in Latin America since the Trump administration ended USAID funding in early 2025 resulted in 7 new conservative governments.
The below-linked article argues that the U.S. is currently experiencing a “color revolution” to delegitimize and ultimately overthrow the constitutional government under President Trump. Drawing on materials uncovered by DataRepublican (Jennica Pounds) noted above and involving ex-USAID officials and groups such as Indivisible, 50501, and National Security Leaders for America, the author outlines the classic six-stage playbook now being applied domestically: heavy funding (often linked to Soros networks), activist training, narrative/symbolism campaigns (e.g., “No Kings,” “Resistance,” media framing of election integrity as “baseless”), an electoral trigger centered on the midterms, elite pressure (including from Democrat governors), and efforts to induce defection among security forces and the military (referencing the “Seditious Six”). He contends the plotters’ goal is structural change by 2028 via an “election meltdown” or related crisis, and urges awareness, prayer, congressional pressure for investigations, and preparation, asserting the effort will ultimately fail because of patriotic elements in the military and broader public.
The Democrat-media complex is mum about this because the people working behind the scenes to orchestrate the activities that amount to an insurrection are all aligned with the Democrat Party. Read more about it here:
Undemocratic Changes to Our Republic Being Worked Behind the Scenes. Some of the goals of the color revolution, as well as how it all evolved, are summarized in the article linked below, which traces the “Our Common Purpose” project of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences—from its roots in a 2013 Rockefeller Brothers Fund initiative for a “National Purpose” of civic dialogue, through its failure after the 2016 election, to its 2018–2020 relaunch (with initial funding from Republican billionaire Stephen D. Bechtel Jr.) as a commission that produced a 31-recommendation blueprint for restructuring U.S. governance, including House expansion by at least 50 seats, 18-year Supreme Court term limits, nationwide ranked-choice voting, campaign-finance amendments, universal voting, and citizens’ assemblies, framed as a “fourth founding” timed to the nation’s 250th anniversary in 2026.
Subsequent funding from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Ford, and Hewlett foundations supported implementation; Rachel Kleinfeld’s 2022 Carnegie paper “Five Strategies to Support U.S. Democracy” operationalized related tactics (dismissing conventional election work as “insufficient” and emphasizing multi-stranded NGO movements, i.e., a coordinated color revolution); and groups like the Inter-Movement Impact Project provided coordination layers—all converging on unelected foundation-backed networks aiming to reshape American institutions outside normal democratic processes.
This overlaps almost completely with the radical DSA agenda, and thus the Democrat-media complex are desperate to bury this before the mid-terms. Read more about it here:
Key Actors in the Left’s Color Revolution Exposed. The below-linked article examines the primary-source materials released by DataRepublican (Jennica Pounds) showing a network of organizations preparing to treat a 2026 Democratic midterm sweep as the start of a sustained campaign (color revolution) against the Trump administration, involving coordinated “red-line” triggers, street mobilization paired with legal and media pressure, and contingency plans to declare the federal government illegitimate if force is used in response.
The article identifies ten key “persons of interest” at the junctions of research institutes, former national-security credentials, ex-USAID operators, and protest groups: Erica Chenoweth (Harvard, intellectual framework for nonviolent campaigns and the United Democracy Alliance); Rear Adm. Michael E. Smith (Ret.) (National Security Leaders for America, operationalizing the alliance and Insurrection Act working group); Danielle M. Reiff (ex-USAID/State, co-founder of Democracy Renewal Group and Renew to Thrive, focused on “election meltdown” scenarios and 2028 reforms); Dr. Paul Zeitz (UnifyUSA/Renew to Thrive, cohesion organizing and citizens’ assemblies); Maria J. Stephan and Julia Roig (Horizons Project, bridging academic theory to domestic organizing); Walt Roberts, Brendan Halloran, and Laura Adams (Renew to Thrive/Mediators Foundation, mapping, convening, and implementation); and Zoe Marks (Harvard, scenario planning for sustained pressure). These figures form the doctrine, connective tissue, and middle layer positioning groups like Indivisible, 50501, and others for activation after the midterms, rather than the street-level participants who they will coordinate and direct behind the scenes.

Injunctions from Leftwing Activist Judges and the Color Revolution. How do leftwing activist judges fit into the grand scheme of Democrat machinations? They are key players! The below-linked article connects the dots – shockingly so! Federal judges form a crucial “fourth pillar” enabling the network of former USAID operatives, national-security figures, and NGOs (mapped by DataRepublican/Jennica Pounds in the “Democracy Files”) by preserving their funding and neutralizing election-integrity tools ahead of a planned 2026 midterm “electoral trigger.”
Cross-referencing the archive against court dockets, the article highlights Judge Amir H. Ali’s orders forcing roughly $2 billion in past-due USAID/State contractor payments (with Democracy International, a partner of Danielle Reiff’s Democracy Renewal Group, as a named plaintiff), alongside injunctions by Judges Theodore Chuang, John McConnell Jr., Loren AliKhan, and Jeannette Vargas that blocked USAID dismantling, grant freezes, and DOGE audits of Treasury systems. In the months before November 2026, further rulings by Judges Sparkle Sooknanan (vacating bulk SAVE citizenship checks and DOJ voter-roll cleanups), Indira Talwani (blocking mail-in ballot security rules), Solomon Oliver Jr. (halting Ohio’s proof-of-citizenship motor-voter law), and Ali again (preventing DHS from withholding grants from sanctuary jurisdictions or localities allowing noncitizen voting) are presented as pre-positioning the field for street, legal, and media pressure once midterm results arrive, consistent with overseas color-revolution tactics.
The Democrat-media complex is completely ignoring this, for obvious reasons! Read more about it here:
Still More on the Importance of Leftwing Judges in the Democrats’ Post-Mid-Term Election Plans. Various actions by leftwing judges over the past two years have established casework foundation for what may come. The below-linked article argues that the endgame of the network mapped by DataRepublican—a 3 Nov–3Jan window to declare the federal government “illegitimate” (via an “election meltdown,” Insurrection Act response, or delayed seating) and shift authority to governors or a “cross-partisan board of governors”—has already been live-tested and written into federal precedent.
It highlights a Washington State convergence (original Renew to Thrive pilot, Secretary of State Steve Hobbs engaging with Danielle Reiff’s pitch that floated Obama/Bush as transitional figures, a recent judge’s block on DHS election investigations, and Gov. Bob Ferguson’s Election Day National Guard offer) and notes that Erica Chenoweth’s “3.5% rule” has been publicly invoked (including in an ABA article), requiring a federal judicial ruling for any “governor refusal” of federalized troops to have legal force under the Supremacy Clause. The post details three 2025 “dress-rehearsal” dockets—Judge Charles Breyer’s injunctions in California’s Newsom v. Trump, Judge Karin Immergut’s permanent injunction in Oregon, and Judge April Perry’s (ex-Kim Foxx deputy) National Guard block in Illinois for Gov. JB Pritzker—then maps a “Pritzker Judicial Machine” linking the governor (named in illegitimacy-memo discussions and co-chair of Governors Safeguarding Democracy), sister Penny Pritzker on NSL4A, cousin Rachel Pritzker chairing the Democracy Funders Network, plus related rulings protecting ICE trackers, a state Bivens Act, $233 million in sanctuary grants, and Illinois Supreme Court influence. Overall, it frames four judicial pillars (funding, midterm trigger, street/prosecutor shield, and governor handoff) as the operational architecture already in place.
This amounts to the deliberate planning process used by the U.S. military to plan future operations. The Democrats and their collection of Marxist radicals mean business. Read more about it here:
Democrats Shed Crocodile Tears Over a False Poll. The Democrat-media complex has created a cottage industry of fake media polling that they use to influence voters, as opposed to reflect reality. Funny how Democrat candidates are always “winning by double digits” in June of a given election year, but the polls magically tighten in the last few weeks so that they can attempt to maintain a tiny bit of credibility. Their goal is to depress Republican turnout and to raise money for Democrat candidates who “are sure to win” (according to the fake polls); a double whammy! Now comes breaking news of a fake poll that has been rolled into (and skewing) other media polls, and Democrats are suddenly outraged about it.
From the article linked below, Democrats are outraged after Wedgewood Polling admitted fabricating survey data as an “experimental project” to expose vulnerabilities and low oversight in the political polling industry, after its fake numbers boosted far-left candidates and were cited by outlets including The New York Times and Decision Desk HQ (which later removed them).
The polls were used by Abdul El-Sayed’s campaign in Michigan’s Democratic Senate primary against Mallory McMorrow and Haley Stevens, and showed socialist Francesca Hong leading in Wisconsin’s gubernatorial primary; McMorrow blamed the numbers for drying up donations and media pressure to drop out, while strategist Jennifer Holdsworth said a super PAC supporting her lost funding. Democratic figures including former Kamala Harris advisor Mike Nellis called the operators “absolute scumbags” and urged prosecution for fraud, Independent outlet FiftyPlusOne said it was already investigating and that the “social experiment” claim was a cover-up, and others labeled it lying and fraud, with Wedgewood insisting it was never meant to sway elections but to serve as a wake-up call on data integrity.
Yeah, right. They are trying to save the credibility of Democrat-media polls in the public mind’s eye. The polls are fake – and always have been! Read more here:
Minnesota Restaurant Finds Out How Capitalism Works. We’ll end this week’s summary on a good note. In recent years, several major U.S. companies that adopted progressive or “woke” marketing themes—particularly those involving LGBTQ+ advocacy, transgender representation, DEI initiatives, or perceived cultural modernization—faced significant consumer boycotts and measurable business losses, primarily from conservative customers.
The most prominent case was Bud Light’s 2023 partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, which triggered a sustained boycott that caused double-digit sales declines, the loss of its status as America’s top-selling beer, and billions in market value erosion, with volume still substantially depressed years later. Target’s 2023 Pride merchandise (including transgender-themed products for children) similarly drew backlash, threats, and sales pressure, while its later 2025 DEI rollback prompted progressive boycotts that correlated with comparable sales drops (e.g., –3.8% in Q1) and multi-week declines in store traffic. Cracker Barrel’s 2025 logo redesign, which removed its longtime traditional “Uncle Herschel” figure and was widely viewed as a “woke” rebrand, produced a sharp stock decline (over 10%) and revenue losses, forcing a rapid reversion. Parallel pressure campaigns by activists such as Robby Starbuck prompted preemptive DEI rollbacks at firms including Tractor Supply, Harley-Davidson, John Deere, Lowe’s, and Walmart to avoid similar boycotts, illustrating how ideologically charged marketing has repeatedly translated into lost market share, reduced foot traffic, and stock-price hits across retail, beverage, and consumer brands.
And so it is that a Minnesota restaurant has learned the hard way, too. As reported in the below-linked article, Modern Times Café in Minneapolis, which in January 2026 rebranded as Post Modern Times and switched to a free, donation-based model barring ICE agents in protest of federal immigration operations (citing the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti and declaring it was “done making money for the fascists”), has announced it will close permanently by the end of the year after owner Dylan Alverson said he had exhausted every option over six years without compromising the restaurant’s core values.
The Democrat-media complex hides all instances in which woke businesses FAFO. Read more about it here:
