  1. “When you take something you did not earn, it affects the psyche and self-esteem.”
Because there was no value exchanged, so the psyche is relying on falsehoods dreamed up and the lack of earning it on merit makes it all a fantasy. Which makes me wonder why the left has been using race and gender games to try to make their gains, and with successes for such a long time. It must be the ones who are fooled by the game that allow it value, through their own guilt.
The social justice crowd doesn’t understand that replacing one way of justice, one with laws, with another, based on classes and groups that essentially has no law structure, until someone gets mad, can’t work. I think the social justice crowd is just too shallow to understand that, until they see it fail, and it will fail.
That’s the first time I saw this Confucius quote. Sharp fellow!

It’s also interesting that there is that quote “Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord”. Warning to not take the matter into your own hands, that God will take care of that.

    • Mark, I suspect that the term “social justice” is just a fig leaf for revenge and power shift. The social justice movement’s actions fly in the face of the word “justice” unless we twist it into some form of connotative meaning far different than its denotative meaning. But that is consistent with the methodology of the social justice movement. They have a tradition of creating labels (microaggressions, while privilege, etc) and twisting the connotative meaning of words to cover their intent and to show their supporters they are fighting to right past and present wrongs.

Star Trek II, The Wrath of Kahn, 1982: Kirk, old friend, do you know the Klingon proverb, “Revenge is a dish best served cold”?

      • I was thinking of that quote, also. I just forgot where I heard it. That movie had several quotes I liked.
I like the way you blend the old and the new. It adds.
