Fight By Our Rules or Theirs?

I took another ride in the country, today, and heard an interesting comment made to the talk show personality on the radio. It’s one I am proud to say I share. The subject of impeachment came up, and assumed Republicans take control over the Senate and House, in January, next year. A caller made the suggestion that Biden and Harris be impeached together. The host got to stammering and harrumphing, which is what I expected. The caller was serious, as I have been, when talking about the idea. The host said that “We should not play by their rules,” along with more harrumphing and added that “We are better than that! We shouldn’t be having this discussion.” I had some words for the radio. Let’s just say I thought they were best kept in the cab of my truck.

What are their rules? Why can’t the two be impeached, together, since they were both elected on the same ticket, are part of the same administration, represent the same ideals and are both responsible for executive decisions made by this administration, which have practically destroyed everything that was going well before either began taking part in the governance of our country? I realize impeachment is serious business, and shouldn’t be used as a political tool to get rid of your opponents, but this isn’t blatantly political. It is the survival of our republic, at this point.

Did this administration, all of it, not cancel most everything that the previous administration did, which really got the economy heading in the right direction? Is the intentional damage done to the economy not an impeachable offense, when peoples’ lives are at risk, when it now costs more to live, feed the children, pay the rent/mortgage, and my goodness, fill up the gas tank? Is this what the idiot Occupier-in-Chief was elected to do?

Maybe there is something in the Constitution that says impeachment can only be one at a time, but I haven’t seen it, and the crimes against the people of the United States are more than mere “High Crimes and Misdemeanors.” They are intentional acts of treason against a way of life that has been around a lot longer than Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and their ideology has.  Until this administration took control, everything was doing quite well. It was this current administration that everything and turned in on its head.

Personally, what I think this administration has done is commit treason against the people of the United States, and I would love to hear more people say that out loud, like that radio caller told that personality. Last I heard, there wasn’t a valid reason for an administration to go and kill an economy, jack up gas prices, let transgender guys beat up on girls in athletic competition, talk about foxes biting politicians to keep from talking about abortionist criminals caught killing more babies.

An ideology is what is running this country, when it is supposed to be the US Constitution. Is that acceptable? I don’t think so.

Thank God there is at least one person who thinks the way I do, about impeachment. That was a very pleasant surprise hearing him say it, too.

The only people playing by some version of rules are us. The left sure aren’t. All they are doing is throwing everything up against the taxpayer and making us pay for everything they screw up. Some rules they are! We need to quit saying stuff, like “We are better than this,” or “We need to play by our rules,” or some other nonsense. What we need to do is quit letting leftists kill people, from the unborn baby to the more challenged in the lowest income bracket, who can’t buy food for their kids.

We already have rules. They are embodied in the US Constitution.  One of them mentions something about dealing with politicians who are committing crimes against the state.

The Heck with their rules!

  1. I agree we should seriously investigate those who need investigation. They would include Hunter Biden and the 50+ “spies”’who said the laptop was Russian Disinformation. I would also agree that the top DOJ and most of the Senior FBI officials be investigated and fired. Impeachment, however is not a game. If the Hunter Biden investigation shows corruption (and it very well may), then Impeachment may be the correct path. My guess is that by the time it clearly does we have a Presidential Election and we can just “throw the bums out”. As for Harris, on any rational scale, she is completely unqualified to serve. That however is not an impeachable offense. She isn’t dirty, she is a broken wedge. That is not a crime, though the depths of her incompetence could reach 25th Amendment Standards. As for me, I don’t want to find that part out. In summary, I agree we play be their Rules, but while Investigations are a game both sides can play Impeachment should not be treated as such. It is a core principal of our Republic and should be be a mere Political tool.
