Berlin, May 6. Germany will send seven self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine to increase shipments of heavy weapons to help Kyiv resist an invasion of Russia, the Defense Ministry said today. The latest weapons shipment will include seven self-propelled howitzer systems (Panzerhaubitze 2000).
Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht said Friday during a German soldier’s visit to Slovakia. German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht said on Friday (May 6) that Germany will provide Ukraine with seven self-propelled howitzers, as well as five that the Dutch government has already promised. German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht is due to meet her Dutch counterpart, Kaiser Olonggren, in Slyak later in the day, with both countries deploying Patriot air defenses to defend against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Germany has reached an agreement to supply Ukraine with seven 2,000 self-propelled armored howitzers, German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht said during a visit to Chirac in Slovakia on Friday. During a visit to Slovakia.
Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht said the seven self-propelled howitzers were the same as five other howitzers of the same model and that the Netherlands would supply Ukraine with these howitzers. The German army was armed with about 100 2000 howitzers, but only 40 were ready for battle.
In a significant change, Germany said it would start shipping arms and other supplies directly to Ukraine in February. Germany has come under repeated criticism, especially from its partners in Kyiv, for not doing enough to support Ukraine against a Russian invasion.
Chancellor Olaf Scholz has faced growing criticism that Germany did not do enough to help Ukraine during its invasion of Russia. Delivery times were not specified. Ukrainian soldiers are expected to start training in Germany from next week, using a Germany that has been targeted for the delay in arming Ukraine compared to other Western allies.
Germany is going to finally send needed heavy weapons to the Ukrainians. These self-propelled howitzers are supposed to be one of Germany’s go-to heavy weapons for its army. I’m certain President Zelenskyy appreciates everything the US and its allies are doing for them but is that going to be enough?
Berlin will start training Ukrainian soldiers on how to use the long-range artillery next week before it sends seven Panzerhaubitzen 2000 to Ukraine. Germany will supply Ukraine with seven self-propelled armored howitzers, Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht announced on Saturday.
The Panzerhaubitzen 2000 artillery system is a track-mounted vehicle with a cannon that can fire shells up to 40 kilometers (25 miles), according to the German military. Germany will also offer training on how to use the heavy artillery.
Lambrecht made the announcement during a trip to Slovakia to meet with German soldiers who have been deployed in the eastern European country that shares a small border with Ukraine. The German Defense Ministry did not give a time frame for the delivery of the howitzers, but the training of Ukrainian soldiers is set to begin next week. “msn.com“
The question still remains, what will the US and its NATO allies do if the war takes a turn to the bad side (God forbid) for the Ukrainians and they begin to lose the war? The US and its allies have been supplying Ukraine with weapons to fight off the invasion of Russia (Vladimir Putin), so to me, that is just about the same as being in the war.
Putin’s threats to use nuclear weapons are real. They defiantly should not be taken lightly. He is getting pushed further and further into his little corner and there really isn’t any way to be sure he wouldn’t do that. The only thing his threat really has done is pull NATO closer together. I’m sure the US and its NATO allies have done everything they can to prepare for the worse if it comes to that.

Anyone stupid enough to utter the threat of nuclear weapons is someone not worthy of the office he holds. That automatically includes the idiot we have in the White House on the Potomac. Biden may not say it, but he is doing absolutely nothing to discourage the proximity of a nuclear weapon, in Europe, or even the US. Pay close attention to the game the Biden administration is playing. Every chance they get, it slips out that they want a war with Russia, and they got what they want, while everyone is stuck on the idea that this is a proxy war. Proxy is just a nuance.
Like you said, it is so close to funding and supplying Ukraine, that we are essentially at war with Russia. The big difference is that we are acting like cowards and risking the lives of Ukrainian citizens, instead of our military, which is why this looks to be a good war to be part of.
That’s just so screwed up that it makes me sick to write it.
We are being dragged into a very potential nuclear war with Russia, all because that old fool in the White House has destroyed everything else he has touched, and needs something to bolster his party’s chances in an upcoming election. Just how sick can it get?
Joe “Nero” Biden, doesn’t have a clue what a fiddle is, but he licks a mean ice cream cone, just like he sniffs little girls’ hair. Some leader he is.
As to Germany finally stepping up and delivering on promises, you have to realize that when a socialist becomes chancellor of Germany, espousing all the supposed virtues of socialism, but realizes early on in his term that his socialism can’t survive if his country doesn’t survive, Germany actually elected someone with more of a brain than we thought.
I suspect that if the globalist leftist, who claimed to be a Christian Democrat, for the purpose of running Germany into the ground, globally, was still in power, in Germany, she would have not lifted a finger for a neighbor, because she was too busy sucking up to the Chinese, and importing middle eastern worker bees.
“The question still remains, what will the US and its NATO allies do if the war takes a turn to the bad side (God forbid) for the Ukrainians and they begin to lose the war?”
I’m at a loss to figure out why this kind of question needed to be asked when Ukraine is facing an existential threat.
We either help them or we don’t and even if we’re late to the help game, if they lose equipment or the war and we did our best to help them then what else can we do?
