Testing a 2022 Political Strategy: Gaslighting, Lies and Squirrels

The emergence of democrat strategery for election 2022 is going to be as entertaining as watching Seinfeld’s Kramer or George Castanza go about their “schtick” where anything can happen-and usually does-and none of it is good. The Biden administration invokes comparisons like this-the Three Stooges, Keystone Cops, the lying guy from Saturday Night Live, Shriners on their scooters in the 4th parade, inspector Clouseau, and increasingly SGT Schultz of Hogan’s Heroes fame: “I hear nothing, I see nothing, I know nothing.”

This is actually an extension of my Globalist Folly Back in Fashion in the Swamp series of articles, but after some 22 renditions-half of which focused on history as a prognostication of “evidence of doomage,” followed by another half that chronicled the fact of doomage, I heard a rumor that the articles have been slapped with a warning label by the good COL to warn against consumption by those with suicidal tendencies: the chronology is that bad.

In a recent article I provided a telling graphic of a Rasmussen poll that tells you all you need to know about how specifically the Biden administration, but increasingly democrat’s writ large, aided by the entirety of the LSMBTG* plan to gaslight and spin the narrative on the current state of the state of affairs.

To belabor a blinding flash of the obvious, there is a near 100% disconnect in the things likely American voters think are important in comparison to what the LMSBTG thinks: not only as evidenced in this poll, but more importantly reflected in the headlines du jour.

The original Clinton campaign came up with a winner in his election run through the simple statement that “It’s the economy, stupid!” The above is even clearer when you consider that gas prices and inflation are just the standouts from an increasingly troubled economy. Now what qualifies the above poll as evidence of an 100% disconnect? Here is the White House spokesperson-she’s gay you know-and has somewhat of a wife or husband who is female as well and works at one of the networks (I don’t want to exaggerate by adding “news” in front of that) and I offer that not in the spirit of being nettlesome or contrary, but just so you know why and how-and that she is-unquestionably qualified for this position per the Biden administration criterion-Karine-Jean Pierre-who claims “America is stronger economically than we have been in history under Biden:” I poop you not….

“Because … when you look at inflation, when we look at where we are economically, and we are in a strong, we are stronger economically than we have been in history, when you look at the unemployment numbers at 3.6%, when you look at the jobs numbers, more than 8.7 million of new jobs created,” she continued.

That is important, but we understand that gas prices are high and we understand that food costs are high, and that is because of a once-in-a-generation pandemic and also Putin’s war, and that’s just the facts!” Jean-Pierre concluded.

The pushback was immediate and pointed: “I mean, come on. Inflation is at a 40-year high, gas prices are averaging $5 a gallon nationwide, we still haven’t gotten back all the jobs we lost from the pandemic, and wages several percentage points behind inflation. Biden’s economy is historic, but not the way they’d like,” replied John Cooper of the Heritage Foundation.

She (I want to be sensitive and say I’m not sure of her pronouns, but I don’t give two schticks about that stupidity-I mean, if you go by they/them-conjugate that for me please-like they am, them are, they them (or it-hahahaha-that one fits) is, they are, them are oh forget it)) pretty much doubled down on the above shortly thereafter. While the spinning and gaslighting continues, here’s the thing-you know, the thing: It is going to get way, way, way worse long before it gets better.

Now I’m not an economics major but I do math when I track our monthly personal and ranch expenditures and balance our bank accounts and books. Not to make this too personal, but the things I consume in a day of the life of Max Dribbler consists of feeding animals-average and good hay, chicken feed, grain, livestock guardian dog food, barn cat food-etc., feeding humans, veterinary and doctor appointments for animals and humans (respectively) and stuff that requires maintenance on a ranch-like everything-fences, pond, barns, animals, tractor, truck, ATV, golf cart, implements, coops, sheds, tools, golf and shooting range and “stuff.” If I have to go to “town”-aka, the land of the big PX 26 miles away-more than twice a week-it’s a bad week.

When the truck I use-and need-to pull horse trailers, hay and the like takes nearly twice as much to fill up as it used to-like $150 vice $80-it is easy enough to say that we will cut down on the amount of money we spend in local restaurants and “stuff” accordingly, you know, tighten the proverbial belt. But we don’t routinely go out cause nobody cooks better than my wife and son. We already save a bunch on gas because of the exorbitant prices we are paying for groceries which typically translates into a $1 a gallon discount on gasoline (and I’m not showing off thriftiness here but pointing out that it costs that much even with this discount.)

The talking heads, pundits, WH spokesidjiot-the LSMBTG-can talk about how good the economy is, but how much gasoline has gone up-cause, Putin-but the books indicate my diesel bill is nearly 100% higher than the previous four-year average: I don’t need some economics professor or LMSBTG expert to explain to me the ramifications of US energy policy in terms of my Dave Ramsey Every Dollar comparison.

If that was the extent of the issue-that could easily be dealt with. The hay I buy has gone up some 30% in the last 3 years-most of it over the past 15 months-and it was expected because the trucks bringing hay in from Kansas and Wyoming have seen the same gas increases as everybody else. Similarly, food prices have gone up as has everything we consume. The bottom-line up front in this discussion is I don’t care what some talking-pointed-head on television says when I experience a doubling of my gasoline prices and at least a 30% increase in hay and feed bills and at least a 20% increase in consumables-food. Then there is propane (“only” 15% increase in our budget-yearly pay by the month plan,) kerosene-22% with no off-season pricing this year, and electric up 16% but less a worry with our solar setup. Did I mention that lumber both went up precipitously last year and was also short for quite some time-2x12x16s (went from $23 to couldn’t get them to $34 to 43,) 2x4s ($4.XX to 7.XX), fence posts ($9-11-13,) OSB ($11-15-18-23,) Dry Wall ($12-16-22,) Trex-couldn’t get it-then atmospheric price, no climb horse fence (100ft-$180 to 245,) T-posts ($5.xx to 7.xx,) PEX-electrical wire-electric panels-water hydrants-gates-welded wire….At one point last summer you couldn’t find a lawn mower to buy at the big box stores.

And here’s the thing-the other thing. When the LSMBTG continues focusing on the above poll issues, only the most ignorant among us-so the democrats and leftists who have been swilling this propaganda all along-at some point might wake up and smell the coffee and notice-to catch up with the rest of America-that they seem to be struggling to make ends meet and think through not only why that is, but also ponder why their friendly LSMBTG sources don’t seem to be talking about it, while their sympatico friends and political favs seem totally distracted by non-serious stuff that has nothing to do with their struggles and doesn’t really impact their lives-at all!

To show how this plays out in terms of news sources that a person chooses to consume-expose themselves to-information-wise like the LSMBTG, only a handful of people I’ve spoken to in the last several months or so have swallowed the notion that Putin is responsible for inflation and oil prices. It is hard to buy into a blame narrative for something (inflation) that started long before Ukraine began. I mean hate Putin and the Russia mentality for being vodka swilling, 3d world mentality not far removed from the Mongol hordes, but maintain some standard….

Regarding oil and gas prices, the few who think Putin was responsible give a total pass to Biden because a handful were very concerned about tremors and earthquakes stemming from fracking and the climate impacts of new pipelines, notwithstanding that rail transport is a much more damaging mode environmentally and climate-wise and several times more costly-which immediately shows up at the pump. And we don’t need to get too deep into the fracking myths, but earthquakes and tremors occur along the fault lines of continental tectonic plates and you likely get as much settling in your house, highway, roads, bridges etc., as they do from fracking and none of it is going to result anytime soon in a house or a car or a city disappearing into the fracking zone…

You can’t blame these folks who have bought into the narrative-truth, not facts-and are obviously also concerned about the remaining time we have left on this earth, as the clock is ticking, and we must be under 8 years at this point. I also sympathize with them over their fears of the boogey man under the bed, ghosts and meteors, as well as lightning, COVID booster numba 10, monkey pox, dengue fever, the fecklessness of the 6 Jan INSURRECTION propaganda committee, Bad Orange Man potential reunion tour, the 217 white supremacists in America and stuff.

Truth versus fact can be a fun discussion-like my friend opines: “they are not teaching Critical Racism Theory in schools or government.” Me: Really? Rachel tell you that? Cause I sat through the class with the misnomer of Unconscious Bias and I have the email and letters I sent to our agency head, IG and the DNI and DOD IGs complaining about it….big takeaway-our country was founded on white racism and there is no cure if you are white because you were born with it (whitey.) Hmmm, if my family came from Canada in the 30s-how does that work-cricket lady???

But more to the point on the economy with the ongoing Longshoreman’s Union contract issues come to a head having expired 1 July 2022, freight movement from the west coast is already front and center as an exacerbating element of the economy and could become much, much, much worse as the absolute clueless Biden administration point person-Pete Bootyguy-is on the case-and we are heading for a Bachman Turner Overdrive moment (You ain’t Seen Nothing Yet.) The ports system and container logistics are stretched to the breaking point with little to no relief in sight. Should the Longshoreman decide to continue playing hardball on negotiations that have somewhat been deferred since 2015 while working through the all-encompassing COVID era, American consumers are going to feel the pain on steroids in comparison to already experienced consumer shortfalls and rising prices seen in the past 16 months.

The Biden administration is focused on these issues like a person who lost their glasses subsequently giving up attempting to read the fine print warning label on a bottle of medicine (does it say it will kill me? Yes! OK, at least I know.) Recently Biden signed an Executive Order to address the topic on everybody’s mind-which one of the top issues from the above poll was it intended to mitigate? Well-actually-number 7-but not in a way that is going to make anybody happy. A bumper sticker like abortion rights can be related to the right to kill babies, or the increasing answer to the smarmy rejoinder about the decision being “between a woman, her doctor and her baby.”

Goal posts were originally moved but this is pure removal-the plank of “safe, legal and rare” Bravo Sierra from politicians but mostly democrats for nearly two decades finally fell victim to a breakage in the hypocrisy meter-removing “rare” from the schtick and beginning the major shift of the Overton window-which in truth had been dynamited apart in many states already-by socializing the idea of full-term abortion and post birth abortion. If it is not depraved enough to propagandize a baby in the womb as an unaware, unfeeling mass of cells and “stuff”-not a human-despite heartbeat and all the things that go with being a human, then think about those who deign to pontificate on the post birth discussion to take place between Dr. and mommy over whether to kill the baby-cause that inconvenient discussion takes place when we have an undeniable viable baby human to consider and the person responsible is somehow going to choose whether or not to have the Dr. murder that baby (I’m tempted to morbidly delve into the methodology but suffice it to say it is unthinkable): what a heinous scenario to subscribe to-for anyone. Virginia Gov Ralph Northam-pediatric Dr-describes the scenario.

It’s been pointed out that it is likely safe to assume what one of these votes would be-I would add we can stop pretending we are talking about an issue endangering the mother’s health or an at-risk baby for medical reasons-because there is near unanimous consensus on that issue-even among religious groups that do not support any aspect of the procedure. The two tragedies here are (1) the likelihood that we have lit the fuse on a time when there will be litigation on behalf of an unborn baby that is going to be a gut wrenching, made for LSMBTG drama-because you have to finish the equation here-the doctor is making medical recommendations that have to be decisioned-but are not dogma or binding, while the mother is making a final decision-so if the baby has a vote-it looks like a tie every time from my seat: (2) the absence of a father in this process-increasingly because of a shirking of personal responsibility and a lack of a father figure in many of these situations, but also societal influence that has made it all too common-and acceptable-in today’s society. Yet with all the information and technology-alcohol, drugs, education-the potential mothers who are obviously using abortion as birth control has increased every year Roe was in force to the tune of some 60M abortions since enacted.

There are certain things society should be wary of, for instance the day they perfect car safety to the point of something like a lunar capsule and eliminate the possibility of death-does anyone think that will correlate to an increase in automobile accidents-or less? Think of insurance rates, car prices, personal property and liability rates. Similar to marijuana and other drug legalization-the net effect on many communities has been a marked increase in fender benders and single car crashes that will result in overall higher insurance rates: the notion of a harmless recreational drug is nonsense. You know what else marijuana use exacerbates? Mental health issues-is there a correlation between promiscuous drug use-accidents, violence, untreated mental health issues-studies confirm this fact.

Just how much spin and propaganda can be expected as the economy worsens, Biden’s favorability continues to tank, and leftist policies continue to be exposed? This American Thinker article points out the growing plethora of propaganda, mythology and lies that continue to color the landscape for an audience and constituency that seems unable-or unwilling-to question these LMSBTG stories. A sample of these outright lies:

  • The border agents whipped illegal immigrants. The media, Justice Department and other Democrats knew this was a lie from day one but didn’t care.
  • Women are going to die because abortion is limited or prevented. This is a despicable lie meant to scare everyone. Not one state that restricts abortion prevents the termination of a pregnancy when the mother’s life is in danger.
  • What the Supreme Court did was unconstitutional. This is pure B.S. The court gave the lawmaking decision back to the legislative bodies where laws are supposed to be made. It is the court that ruled in 1973 that committed the unconstitutional act when they essentially made law with their Roe V Wade decision.
  • The “Hands up don’t shoot”. This lie was meant to gin up racial hate and division against white cops. How many cops have been injured or killed because so many in the media and others spread this lie?

We’ve already seen somewhat of the summit of stupidity in the rhetoric Olympics captured by this Townhall piece that walks through the poster child nirvana exemplar of dumb, desperate, hypocrisy in action by the LSMBTG-of course I am referring to what the headline touts as the liberal media talking point that the “Nonwhite White Supremacists are Coming.” Think the Dave Chappelle, Clayton Bigsby schtick about a blind black man-who thinks he is white-and is a hood (not that hood) wearing racist. It works as a comedy skit, but is silly in real life:

Rep. Mayra Flores (R-TX) special election win is historic not because she’s the first Republican to represent the district in 150 years. It’s also because she’s the first female Mexican-born House member. If she were a Democrat, she’d have multiple segments on her. Instead, she’s now the face of the Hispanic far-right. Winsome Sears is the first black woman ever to occupy Virginia’s lieutenant governor office. The media freaked out when she was pictured holding an AR-15 rifle. This is America.

Things will certainly get more desperate as the economy worsens, Biden favorability ratings continue to decline, the lies get bigger and bolder, and the 6 January propaganda drives toward an October crescendo blockbuster surprise-likely aided by the DOJ and White House propaganda-that is going to dash on the rocks.

I wanted to finish this article without mentioning Biden’s “stalwart” vice president, who looks like a dead certain cinch-Vegas took the odds line down-to win the “word salad, dissembler of the year award.” She’s averaging at least two decent ones a week and they are worse than the before clips from the Capital Speakers Club. You know you are killing it in the not good kind of kill’n-like dead, dying, loss (Kubler Ross style) when the LSMBTG and democrats alike start to call you out with descriptions like “word salad,” “incoherent,” and “What is with this administration and an aversion to basic speaking skills and grasp of the English language? (NewsBuster’s managing editor Curtis Houck wondered.)

It is going to be a sporty election season. Can we expect to see blue states start another pandemic run and lockdown in the 4th quarter as a hail Mary of sorts? Very likely, whether COVID redux or the dire threat of Monkey Pox-or maybe an Ebola scare or meteor shower-internet outage-Electro Magnetic Pulse-all ballot machines go on the fritz a week before the election-ballots mailed out to all 360 million Americans (all 330M plus~10% in the middle of a winky-winky-move,) federal voting extended to post Thanksgiving…
