Recently overheard at a restaurant in rural Georgia, “Both Democrats and Republicans cheat. I vote for the person.” Ugh. Really? In Georgia? The speaker must be a closet liberal or open idiot. Yes, an idiot. Mouthing such platitudes today has moved any such speaker from being banal to seriously batty stupid.
Politics isn’t the same blood sport intramural of competing political parties. Success in running for elected office still requires the nomination from a political party and the winner edge of candidate, issues, and campaign. So, while it may look the same, it’s very different.
Here’s the what’s what on the changing divide for every candidate, issue, and campaign.
- Establishment Democrat vs Establishment Republican. Politics actually remains business as usual for the ruling, chattering Class. It will continue as long as the career politicians can keep their offices for all the power and money they can acquire. The number of pols is diminishing slowly as MAGA, liberty, and Constitutionally-minded people get elected. Yet, both wings of the Establishment remain confident in their sole skill set – getting elected – in safe seats.
- Human Secular Totalitarianism vs. Constitutional Conservativism. This is the true battle of ideas. The ideas of the French Revolution are trying against the ideas of our American Revolution. Both sides may use the same words – like freedom, democracy, peace, prosperity, but they have opposing meanings. The battleground is the real Culture War since 1962. The
Left,Liberals,Progressives,Democrats,Commies include Critical Racist Theory (CRT) Marxists, Eco-Green Marxists, and old goat Socialists. The Right is Conservatives and Libertarians – on economic issues. - Elites and Slaves vs. Middle Class. This is the flip side of the battle of ideas. It is the most significant political realignment since FDR built the Democrat coalition in 1932. The elites rule, in general, across the institutions – Government, including the Military, big Business, Education, Media, Arts and Entertainment, which shape our culture to define American Civilization. Religion and the Family as institutions are still in contention. The lowest economic class dependent on government benefits are slaves to government largesse. The huge middle class of wage earners and small business owners – including professionals with advanced degrees – is transformational ruling majority. If their votes can overcome cheating in Blue States and Cities.
- Bogus Theories vs. Commonsense. Failed ideas and foolish new notions are embraced by the Commies. From no bail, de-fund the police, to CRT, equity outcomes for protected classes of persons, to tribal identity politics, to eliminating fossil fuels for Climate Change Cultism, to abortion on demand, to the absurdity of more than two genders, and kowtowing to all make- believe “Trans” theology. The opposing side, which includes so many who never would identify as Republicans or Conservatives, sees life through the simple lens of commonsense. Government – the Biden regime and their toadies in the states and cities – wrecked the economy in 18 months. Likewise, the angry Mother bears were enraged as the Covid cowardice of the public school educrats exposed their Ignorance Indoctrination over Education.
- Way of the World vs. Rule of Law. The conspirators of the World Economic Forum, the drug cartels, the rogue dictators, and global corporatists operate as the world has since the start of civilizations around 4000 BC. They use money, power, force, and influence to get their way – no matter what. America is in the bubble of the English-Speaking Peoples with a fragile history of individual freedom and opportunity. Of written rights over privileges in the Rule of Law over the Rule of Men. But outside dark money is at work in our elections.
- Evil vs. Judeo-Christian Ethics and Morality. This framework doesn’t fare well when the Commies mock it. Yet, Christians know there’s a theological and ontological overview of all the affairs of humans. Ultimately the Lord God wins. In the eons of time until then, the ebb and flow of good fortune for any Nation is a jump ball. But, clearly, one side embraces the traditional values taught in the Holy Bible explicitly. Opposition to the light, the truth, and the way comes only from the forces of evil.
Until one side or the other builds a transformative majority to deliver decisive victory in an election, it may look like it’s politics as usual. The same old same old isn’t what’s happening. It’s a true time for choosing

I used to hear that from the conductor, who I, all too often, had to put up stuck on a train for twelve hours with. Another of their favorites was “Ah believe that it is a woman’s right to choose to have an abortion”. I got stuck with some real “Dilberts”.
People who say things like that are only showing how programmed away they are from having any rational thought.
