“What is man, that Thou art mindful of him?” I think about this verse every time I read or hear something absolutely and completely stupid about Climate Change. People who spout this endless barrage of garbage have no idea of man’s place on Earth, much less in the Solar System or the Universe.
They remind me of people who used to spend their lives debating on the number of angels on the head of a pin. Worthless wastes of oxygen, non-redeemable, hopelessly clueless, narcissistic, mindless people who try to convince the reasonable, logical world that man can control the climate of the world.
Do you get the idea that I loathe these people who are teaching their skewed ideas to school children, scaring the kids into thinking that the world is going to be either burn up or be flooded or be covered by ice before they reach adulthood.
The people who preach this stupidity have no idea of man’s place on the earth; they do not realize the vastness of land and water on our planet. Their little world is centered around them, and that is all they know. Our pitiful actions as mankind do not even remotely compare to the forces of nature when it comes to any kind of changes on earth. Do you realize that an active volcano puts more CO2 in the air than all the vehicles on earth, on the land, the water, the skies combined?
If all this climate change is going to cause the seas to rise and swamp coastal cities and properties, why do people like obama and bill gates spend millions of dollars on oceanfront properties? Don’t they realize that the rising seas will get them, too? Or do they just plan on scaring the foolish into believing their nonsense so that it is easier to raise taxes to “combat global warming.’’ I vote for reason number 2.
Anyone with a mind knows that the climate does change, and it has for millions of years. That’s why we’ve had Ice Ages and great droughts that dried up the formerly green land that is now the Sahara Desert. Who is to say that there are more hurricanes now than when the Mayans ruled Central America, or the Aztecs were in Mexico, or the Five Tribes controlled the southern section of the present Eastern United States? They didn’t keep weather charts to prove anything; they just lived with whatever the weather was.
Go back even further. Any records of hurricanes and climate change on the caves in Lascaux, France? Nope, not a one. They lived with heat, cold, and temperatures in between. It was life, and any change came from the antics of the gods.
Only man in recent times considers his actions able to influence the workings of nature. It is a vain, self-aggrandizing opinion of pitiful creatures residing on this planet. We certainly can do damage to the earth as has been shown through the centuries, especially during the twentieth century. Mountains and valleys destroyed by coal companies, deforestation, draining valuable wetlands, not caring for the land: oh, yes, we can change our landscape. But our actions are relatively local compared to the vastness of the earth.
Nature has a way of reclaiming damaged land; while it may not be done in our lifetimes, the forces of nature are powerful, and cannot be controlled by pitiful humans.
People who worry about climate change must not have a lot to do otherwise. We might as well sit around and worry about volcanoes erupting and trying to stop them from sending gasses into the atmosphere and watching their lava covering the land. We can’t stop earthquakes or floods, or glaciers growing or melting either, no matter how many mindless fools march around and yell their heads off about pickup trucks and cows causing global warming.
When I was younger, I had a higher opinion of mankind as a reasonable, achieving species on the earth. When so many people now are taken in by global warming, faux covid pandemics, wearing useless masks, taking dangerous shots, believing a dementia patient was elected president of the United States, I take back my former opinion of mankind as a whole

They are the kind who have to go to extremes to sell people on their ideas, because it is their idea that makes no sense.
Like that movie that portrayed all the hurricanes, twisters and wave bombarding the New York city coast, the sales job had to include the graphics, just to sell the idea, and even that couldn’t make the idea stick, to us.
As I wrote, almost side by side to your article, I like to listen to people who don’t have to sell their ideas. Those climate worshipers are only worshiping to false gods, like the ones who came up with a scam, like Algore, aided by “Scientists” who would have been better at political science than real science. Real science requires truth to be in the equation. Political science is nothing, but lies.
