Please, Sir, I Want Some More Punishment

Oliver Twist, the poverty-stricken orphan boy of 19th century London is the subject and title of Charles Dickens’ second novel.  Oliver grows up performing slave labor at a workhouse and is fed gruel by his taskmaster, Mr. Bumble.  Oliver and his fellow orphan boys are starving but all they have for nourishment is gruel.  Oliver draws straws with the other boys and loses.  He is tasked with asking for more gruel, “Please, sir, I want some more”.

Democrat voters across the country essentially parroted Oliver Twist.  Despite two years of utter misery under the Bumble Brandon regime and the Democrat Congress, voters asked for more gruel.  With record inflation, crime, stagnant 401(k)’s and attempts to drag us into a European war, the punishment wasn’t enough for Democrats.  Facts be damned.  Party politics above all else – über alles.

Democrat voters in Pennsylvania elected a braindead Senator, John Fetterman, to that most august of deliberative bodies.  Not a surprise, since these same voters reelected a dead man on Tuesday as well.  Yes, they really elected an actual dead man.

Fox News reported Wednesday:

“Democrat Anthony “Tony” DeLuca died Oct. 9 “after a brief battle with lymphoma, a disease he twice previously beat. He was 85,” the Pennsylvania House Democratic Caucus wrote.

DeLuca was Pennsylvania’s longest-serving state rep, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

“While we’re incredibly saddened by the loss of Representative Tony DeLuca, we are proud to see the voters to continue to show their confidence in him and his commitment to Democratic values by re-electing him posthumously. A special election will follow soon,” Pennsylvania House Democrats said in a tweet.”

Weekend at Tony’s.  You can’t make this stuff up.  An 85 year old representative in office since 1983 doesn’t represent the people, he represents government.  He was just following the example of his party’s top 3 leaders in the U.S. House, Pelosi, Hoyer and Clyburn, whose combined age (247) is greater than that of the country (246).  Term limits, anyone?  Pennsylvania Democrats are so blindly loyal to that party, they decided to reelect a dead man in a landslide and elect a braindead man as Senator.  Not just dumb, stupid.  I guess it’s true, voters get what they deserve.  And not just in PA but across the fruited plain.

Kathy Hochul (D–NY) basically said, “Let ‘em eat crime” and she won.  Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) got away with locking down her economy, holding kids back from learning and doing absolutely nothing about crime, except encouraging it, and that performance got her reelected.  Today’s Democrat voters apparently don’t care about issues or personalities or even the ability to breathe and speak.  They care about having a (D) after your name, and nothing else.  You can’t reason with people like that because you’re assuming they have reasoning ability.  They don’t.  The only thing you can do is run over them, politically.  (apparently, you can run over them literally too, and get away with it – let ‘em eat crime)

Don’t depend on pollsters.  Pollsters have become the new weathermen.  When was the last time their predictions were right?  I can’t remember.  If one has been right lately, it’s only because of the blind squirrel rule.  Pollsters, weathermen, and climate alarmists have as much credibility as alchemists – none.  Never believe polls. Republicans must learn this.

Republicans must also adapt to the new way of cheating voting.  In most states, we no longer have election day.  Instead, we have election weeks, month, or season.  Like their abortions, Democrats love voting early, often, and late.  Republicans have to begin get out the vote campaigns earlier than the week before election day.  Hundreds of thousands of early Democrat votes were already cast before the world was horrified to learn that John Fetterwoman couldn’t think or speak in coherent sentences.  Too late to make a difference in the election outcome.  But he’ll fit right in with Chuckie Schumer’s other Democrat Senators.

Republicans must fix election tabulation systems.  Democrats won’t.  As far as I can tell, simple addition skills are the most important needed to count votes.  What’s so complicated about that?  There is no excuse for not knowing who won and lost elections by the close of what used to be known as election day.  Yet two years after the debacle of 2020, we do a repeat and still don’t know the outcomes of Arizona, Nevada and two dozen House races for days after the election.  The incompetent boob running the elections in Maricopa county AZ proudly states that we won’t know who won the governor and Senate races until early next week!

Most respectable banana republics have higher standards and are embarrassed by AZ.  This doesn’t even rise to the level of 3rd world.  Who’s the brainiac that came up with the great idea of printing ballots to order at the polling place on election day?  Even fast-food joints know you can’t serve quickly if you make everything to order.  Printers are notorious for not working.  Add to that unreliable vote tabulation machines and a shortage of ink and voilà, chaos.  Were they not expecting to conduct this election?  Made to order ballots = made to order disaster.  Democracy wasn’t on those ballots, confusion was.  The real danger to democracy is not Mega MAGA Republicans, it is incompetent election officials unable and unwilling to conduct proper elections, thus sowing doubts on election integrity.  If election results can’t be trusted, conspiracy theories will rightfully abound.  Maybe that’s what they want?  Don’t make election results doubtful and then blame us for doubting election results.

After the 2000 election “hanging chad” disgrace, Florida fixed its election system.  With over 7 million votes cast, we knew Florida’s election results Tuesday night.  Arizona has a fraction of the voting population of FL, but apparently an overwhelmingly larger and disproportionate number of deaf, dumb, and blind election staff.  Am I being “ableist”?  So be it.  Fix it, Arizona!!

As of this writing, there are 23 outstanding House seats still undecided.  Eleven of those undecided seats are in California.  The Pelosi state is notorious for dragging out House race results until votes are “found” for the Democrat.  California no longer uses precinct voting.  It uses vote centers that any voter in the county can utilize.  What does this do?  It allows for anonymity and easier voter fraud.  Precinct voting at schools, community centers, etc. were smaller and neighborly.  Democrat fraudsters don’t want to be recognized and vote centers allow for that.  AZ also uses vote centers rather than precinct voting.  Surprise!  Surprise!  Democrats have no standing to criticize Putin for getting 96% of the vote.  Dems are shameless and proud of it.

So, we are in a state of limbo, chaos really, as we await the results of election season.  And you thought there were only four seasons.  We have no idea if we have united government, divided government or just confused government.  Only the party currently in power benefits from this situation.  Anything to take our minds off the suffering and misery of the worst presidency since Jimmy Carter is a Godsend for Democrats.  President Brandon proudly stated that he will change nothing as a result of the elections.  The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Something is wrong with our elections.  When a recession, record high inflation, record high gas prices, an upcoming winter heating oil shortage, lack of baby formula, a horrible stock market turning 401(k)’s into 201(k)’s and our children under sexual attack from teachers and their unions isn’t enough to oust the incumbent party out on its keister, something is wrong, terribly wrong.  The question remains, will Republicans learn from this election or not?  That remains to be answered, but if they don’t, 2024 isn’t looking as good as it should, and neither is our country. Please, sir, I want some more gruel.
