I have often said that as a company commander I kicked people out of the Army who are better people and better citizens than more than half the people I meet every day in civilian life. I have seen commanders relieved for cause for a variety of purposes. Yet stories I hear from today’s Army amaze me at the poor leadership that is tolerated – and perhaps encouraged – by the feckless sycophants who are running (not leading) our military. I recently heard a story about a drunken party in a foreign country. When I asked where the commander and first sergeant were, I was told, they were the worst offenders, one of whom was puking his guts out in front of foreign nationals. That’s a terrific impression to leave of the US Army, isn’t it? That’s called “poor command climate” and not modeling proper behavior, discipline, and decorum. But that is okay in today’s Army, it seems.
That poor command climate starts at the top. Austin and Millie are political animals cosplaying as military leaders. Let’s not forget Mille’s treason letter telling subordinates not to obey the orders of Commander-in-Chief Trump. Both men should be court marshaled for either treason or criminal incompetence and locked in solitary confinement like the January 6th political prisoners. Capital punishment is too good for them. They need to rot in prison.
Those are strong statements, but they are not intended as hyperbole. Court marshaling these two and a host of other incompetent officers who have violated their oaths of office is a serious recommendation.
Other than rampant fuel prices and inflation, the only accomplishment of the Biden junta has been to expose the blatant lies of the government. Biden and his sycophants are like a two-year-old caught with his hand in the cookie jar who nonetheless asserts he didn’t take a cookie while wiping chocolate off his face. Biden’s minions are poor leaders and managers. They are even worse liars.
The lie ignored by the media of “I don’t know anything about Hunter’s business deals” has been proven false. The lie that the laptop was Russian disinformation has been exposed (but barely reported by the media). The lie that Biden only had a handful of classified documents is being exposed daily as more documents are found in more insecure locations. The administration lies about job creation, inflation when Biden took office (the Bureau of labor statistics confirmed it was 1.4% under Trump), the disgraceful retreat from Afghanistan, that the US blew up the Nord Stream pipelines, the COVID vaccine lies and censorship, censoring conservatives, raids on conservatives’ homes, everything about January 6th, FBI involvement in the plot to kidnap Governor Whitmer of Michigan, the FBI involvement on January 6th, storage of classified documents, financial dealings with foreign corporations at the expense of US taxpayers, and on and on and on. The only thing you can believe from the regime and its media propaganda arm is that whatever they say is at best wrong and typically a bald-faced lie.
(By the way, how incompetent are Biden’s puppet masters? They were told the FBI would search his Rehoboth Beach home “in a couple of days,” but they were too stupid or lazy to get rid of the classified documents after this politically-biased advanced notice.)
The Biden playbook only has just five plays:
1) Lie and deny.
2) Blame everyone else.
3) Assert it’s racist, homophobic, and/or transphobic to question/complain.
4) Claim it’s no big deal. Use your media propaganda arm to help tell that story.
5) If that fails, blame Trump, the guy who has been out of office for more than two years. When does the fascist regime pull up its big-boy pants and take responsibility for its own failures?
Then there was the balloon. You can’t believe anything coming from the Pentagon or the Biden junta. And I don’t believe any of the Congressmen privy to classified information who came out of the briefing saying they think the DoD and Biden cabal handled it properly. The ruling class was prepared to ignore the balloon and let it spy on US military bases and personal communications until farmers in Montana publicized pictures. Then, forced to turn their attention from the war on non-existent white rage and racism, the military reportedly disobeyed Biden’s order to shoot down the balloon over Montana. I don’t remember it that way, but I guess the Constitution – that document our ruling class has never read – described the President as the “suggester in chief,” not the commander in chief. It was a legal order, and they should have been court marshaled for refusing.
So right from the playbook. 1) They lied about the balloon. “We didn’t know there was a balloon in the sky so large it was visible with the naked eye.” 2) It’s the Republican’s fault because we haven’t wasted enough money on an apparently incompetent NORAD. It’s the Pentagon’s fault because they didn’t want to risk downing the balloon in a million acres of mostly empty prairie. 3) You’re some kind of -ist if you think the regime is lying to you. 4) Biden still claims that the Chinese didn’t get any useful information, even though the Pentagon differs, saying they had to curtail communications during the balloon’s flight.
Here is the one that is yet another indictment of Millie and Austin. 5) Claim that three balloons transited parts of the US during Trump’s administration. Here is where they started to lie like a two-year-old. Somehow because the balloon briefly passed over Florida, that excused the Biden junta for letting the balloon hover over missile silos and other sensitive military sights for a week. How did they know this? Well, they went back through old data and in a couple of hours conveniently found evidence years later when they thought that story would hide their incompetence. You mean three balloons traveled over the US and you didn’t notice it? They must be idiots! Do blind, epileptic monkeys populate NORAD? To try to hide their incompetence further, they then claimed that they had detected them, despite some undefined “domain awareness gap” (that’s politician speak for “we don’t know what the Hell we’re doing”) but only got around to identifying them as balloons when they were caught lying — again.
So why didn’t they report this to ANYONE in the administration at the time? It appears that Millie, the traitorous, bloviating, disaster, decided that Trump and his administration were too volatile to be given this information. Was this about the time that Millie called China and told them that if the commander-in-chief decided to attack, Millie would commit the treasonous act if giving them advanced notice? How many Americans might have died because of this early warning?! Remember that the Joint Chiefs of Staff are not in the chain of command. They are advisors to the Commander in Chief, responsible for training and preparing the military to carry out its missions. (They did a great job during the retreat from Afghanistan!)
Austin and Millie have repeatedly shown themselves to be at best utterly incompetent and at worst traitors. Their mismanagement is of epic, Biblical proportions. Military people have been court marshaled for significantly less egregious transgressions. Yet, it seems incompetents and traitors are what the Biden junta likes in its military “leaders.” The Russian Army suffered the first two years in WWII due to Stalin’s purges of competent but politically “unreliable” generals. The first year of Russia’s “special military operation” in Ukraine has demonstrated that Russia still prefers reliability over competence. The US military is suffering from the same sweeping, if non-bloody, purges of the officer corps under Obama and Biden, which have resulted in a leadership and competence void. Every day we see evidence of the decay of our once-vaunted military. Will we need the first three years of war with China to purge the political animals and find real military leaders?!
General officers are predicting war with China as early as 2025. (Somehow denuding our military to feed weapons to Ukraine is helping us prepare for war with Biden’s puppet masters in China.) Let us hope their predictions are about as accurate as decades of apocalyptic predictions by climate alarmists. The military needs to be healed quickly. Making someone a Lieutenant General (three stars) or General (four stars) is not a promotion. It’s an appointment. No rule says the President cannot take a Brigadier General (one star) and appoint him or her to Lieutenant General, skipping Major General (two stars). This is uncommon, but not without precedent. General Pershing skipped a few ranks even in hide-bound seniority rather than a merit-based promotion system before WWI. It just must be approved by Congress. When the Biden junta is kicked out of office, the next Commander in Chief needs to dig deep in the pool of available junior general officers and find the handful who still value professionalism, valor, patriotism, and competence over politics and wokeness. A purge of wokeness from the military may improve enlistment and retention, which have suffered under the Biden junta.
Millie and Austin have done much more than simple disobeying an oath. They became political ideologues and have left the ranks of the military, as far as I’m concerned. Whether or not that is treason, someone else will have to say, but they are not acting in any good faith, except to tow the line of an idiot ideologue. Maybe it is desertion.
Their Commander-in-Chief, on the other hand, should be charged with treason and murder, simply due to the policies he has implemented that fall very short of everything he swore to in his oath. I’m not talking about a political cure to use against Biden. Impeachment is too good for him. Biden has caused the implementation of policies that have absolutely harmed thousands of children, through the use of the education system and the medical profession(used to be a profession), and all the policies concerning hydrocarbons that no sane individual could rebuke, has killed many.
The fact that he does that with that evil smug face tells me that he is enjoying causing harm to the American citizen, and that should end in the most severe punishment he could receive. He knows very well what he is and has done. This excusing him because of a mental deficit is as evil as the man causing the evil to happen.
I agree!
Excellent post sir. A mutual friend of Mike Ford, Sam Pearson and I is a reserve battalion commander in the Northeast. Speaking with him a few months ago he told me about one of his greatest recent accomplishments was slow rolling the approval of a sex change of one of hid soldiers, wanting to go from “male” to “shim.” And have us pay for it, and the shim nondeployable for two years.
When I deployed back in 05 I was speaking to an officer over lunch. I mentioned to him a mutual friend of ours had a “sex change“ and he was shocked. I explain to him that was a slang term for a branch transfer, as I recall from the engineer to logistics. I can’t make that joke anymore.
Good God Almighty.
Is it “court marshaling” as John “Buck” Surdu wrote..or “court-martialing”?
