Trump Warns Republicans: Don’t Touch Entitlements Swallowing Up Our Economy

Campaigning for the senior vote this month, Donald Trump publicly warned the GOP to not touch Entitlements.  So much for Donald Trump, “the manager.”  He had four years to make a significant impact in Washington.  And yes, Trump did provide generational change by appointing conservative justices to the Supreme Court.  Thank you, Donald.  But did he drain the swamp?  No.  Did he seal the border?  No.  Was he supposed to do those things in his second term?  Or as he become a person we know “All Too Well.”  And no, that is not a very popular allusion to a Taylor Swift song/short film.  Has Donald become another politician “Gad Fly,” who swings into action when the debt and deficit debate presents itself…as it does EVERY EFFIN’ YEAR?

Given how his first term started, i.e. Russian Collusion Hoax, GOP leadership wary of his power, Main Steet Media Conspiracy AND Social Media Conspiracy against him, why did Donald think he was getting a second term?  I don’t get it.  But what I do get is all the current talk of the debt ceiling and balancing the budget.  Us veteran D.C. critics know this is all just window dressing to the big issue in our Capitol.  Draining the swamp does not mean letting the water run into the Potomac.  Because if you don’t know, the alligators that consume our tax dollars know how to swim AND WALK.

To some, draining the swamp means removing members of Congress who love to tax and spend us to death.  I am all for it, but that means we all go big game hunting for both GOP and DNC PIGS.  After my close, see this year’s Earmark/Oinker awards.

To others, draining the swamp means getting K Street Lobbyists out of the legislative process.  In other words, members of Congress who are voting on bills, will do so without the assistance (financial persuasion) of a lobbyist delivering talking points or recommending voting strategies, i.e. “please decline this smaller bill and pass this larger bill…and when you do, I will contribute to your re-election campaign.”

To the critics MOST IN THE KNOW, the people we have to remove from Washington are the SENIOR BUREAUCRAT LIFERS, GS12 and higher.  Members of the SENIOR EXECUTIVE SERVICE (GS 16+) have lived on the government teet for decades and have yet to deliver an honest days work to the U.S. taxpayer.  These bureaucrats have been promoted over the years not because they are any good at what they do.  They get promoted because they do what they are told to do and not tell the truth about their bosses…who also haven’t worked a day in their lives.

If you don’t know the pay scale in the federal government, GS 16’s can make $165,000 a year.  But members of the SES can make $195,000 a year…or more, i.e. Anthony Fauci.  To put that in perspective, that is about the same as a Member of the House of Representatives!  And every single member of the SES Fraternity can impact the government and effect who gets and keeps their jobs in, wait for it…THE WHITE HOUSE!

Think DOJ executives from six administrations ago…who are aligned with those who keep the CABAL going.  The loyal Democrat FBI agents who shield a Democratic President from legal scrutiny.  Think CIA executives who ferment war all over the world to justify their budgets.  Think DOD executives who continue to build $94,000 Humvees and $940,000 MRAPS only to leave them in Afghanistan.  All that said, those DEEP STATE personnel are only part of the problem.

All of you who think School Boards, Teacher Unions, Earmarks, Lobbyists and Contractors are killing our country, you are only partially right.  The BIG problem in Washington is not the SWAMP.  The BIG problem in Washington is the PLANTATION.  We need to reduce the CENSUS of federal workers in every agency/department in D.C., the fifty states and the territories.  Why?  We simply cannot afford to pay bureaucrats their salary and benefits.  Further, we cannot afford the individual consultants working on government contracts.  To be sure, our government is TOO BIG to succeed.

Today our Federal Government is a whole lot like Ford, GM and Chrysler back in the 1970’s.  For three decades, Detroit could build whatever car they wanted and sell them…all over the world.  American Car companies built factories in Europe, South America and Asia.  Car companies were quite literally FAT and HAPPY.  After all, the US Military, with the assistance of the car companies, built the biggest war machine the world had ever seen.  In World War II, we invaded Africa, Europe and Asia.  We destroyed two of the world’s biggest economies, so we were the last man standing.  We then proceeded to rebuild the German and Japanese economies, so they would be our trading partners and not the partners of rising Russia or China.  And that was a pretty good idea.  But in Japan’s story, we were a little TOO GOOD.

The rebuild in Japan was failing.  Process Engineer Ed Deming brought statistical analysis to the war weary Japanese.  First Japanese industries to rebuild were cameras and electronics.  Then small engines.  Then larger engines and automobiles.  And when the OPEC Oil Embargo hit in 1973, oil prices quadrupled.

On Oct. 19, 1973, Nixon requested $2.2 billion from Congress in emergency military aid for Israel. The Arab members of OPEC responded by halting oil exports to the United States and other Israeli allies. Egypt, Syria, and Israel declared a truce on Oct. 25, 1973. OPEC continued the embargo until March 1974. By then, oil prices had skyrocketed from $2.90 per barrel to $11.65 per barrel.

When the price of gas went up, suddenly everyone wanted a smaller car.  Toyota was ready to deliver.  Honda followed, then Mazda.  The South Koreans followed with Kia and Hyundai.  You get the picture.  Then both German and Japanese auto companies followed the U.S. model and built factories where the most affluent consumers were… in the United States.

Volkswagen built Rabbits in Pennsylvania.  Toyota built Camrys in Tennessee.  Mercedes builds SUVs in Alabama.  If you didn’t know it, Elon Musk got his start in the car business when he bought a shuttered Toyota factory in California.  And he did it with a low/no interest loan from YOUR federal government!  The guy had a couple billion dollars from his Pay Pal sale, yet he borrowed $400M…FROM US?  Yup!

When you grease the right Presidential Candidate running for the White House, you too can buy a ROBOTIC automobile plant, start a car company and make a killing.  But The Green Bank of Obama is such a big story, I will save that for another day.  And then, those foreign car company jobs went quite literally “South.”

When Bill Clinton came to office, he got Congress to pass the North American Free Trade bill.  Cross border tariffs with Canada and Mexico were dropped.  And just as Ross Perot predicted, NAFTA drove U.S. manufacturers into Mexico, chasing cheaper labor costs.  All that said, how do WE TAX PAYERS chase cheaper labor costs for our government workers?  Answer…we can’t.

The unions for the government workers are pretty strong.  If true, then we must figure out a way to cut the head count.  And just for you, my readers, I introduce the RELEASE, RE-HAT, RETIRE strategy.  FYI, I have introduced this strategy to every Presidential Candidate for the past twenty years!  But Bush, Gore, Obama, McCain, Romney and Clinton are all members of The Swamp.  Trump (“The Manager”) was the one guy I thought had a shot at Right Sizing the government and balancing the budget.  But no!  But before I tell you how to Right Size our federal government, maybe one of my fellow columnists and/or readers…knows someone who knows someone who is on the fledging campaign of one Nikki Haley.

In the name of the late and great Senator from Oklahoma, Tom Coburn, I will deliver the Three R’s next week…when I’m over the Eagles loss to the Chiefs.  Stick with me now, and you will see where I am going with this.

I think we all saw the end of that game…as clear as day.  Chief’s Quarterback Patrick Mahomes throws an uncatchable ball in the endzone and immediately protests his receiver was held. Then and ONLY THEN did the Back Judge throw a flag.  The Back Judge’s job is to look at the defender and the receiver and make HIS OWN judgement about what happened during the play.  To be sure, the Back Judge ALREADY decided what had transpired WAS NOT HOLDING…especially on a critical drive, in the most important game of the year.

In other words, there is a degree of holding on every NFL play at every NFL position.  And that is why there are SEVEN officials to oversee every NFL play.  But the degree of the hold determines if the Back Judge decides to throw the flag and discuss the call with his Crew Chief…the Referee.  If there is some debate about the call…the officials gather and the Crew Chief/Referee makes a judgement to enforce the flag or “wave the call off.”

Since enforcing the flag would give the Chiefs a first down inside the ten yard line and new downs available to run out the clock and win the game with a short field goal, the Crew Chief/Referee should have “waved the call off.”  His decision would still allow the Chiefs to kick their field goal and gain the advantage in the game.  Moreover, the Referee’s decision to pick up the flag would ALSO allow the Eagles a chance to tie or win the game in the remaining 1:53.  But reason/judgement is clearly skewed in any human endeavor with BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars wagered on the biggest game of the year.

Did you know the groundskeeper for the Super Bowl is in the Ring of Honor for wait for it…the Kansas City Chiefs!  While Eagle edge rushers, ball carriers and speedy receivers were slipping all over the “custom grown” field, the Chiefs had few problems.  To be sure the Eagles had to change their cleats and the Chiefs did not.  Why would they?  The Chiefs knew all about the field!  I guess if I knew the condition of the field ahead of time, I would have made several proprietary, in-game bets (parlay wagers) that favor the Chiefs…right?

But this year’s Super Bowl competition is a whole lot like other large competitive events in our country, i.e. Presidential Elections.  We won’t know all about what actually happened for a year or two.  Sure you can trace guilty parties through financial investigations, i.e. the very specific option calls/bets that were placed on United and American Airlines, after their planes crashed into the Trade Towers and the Pentagon on 9/11/01.  Remember that?  But who is going  to do the work to discover the relationship between individual gamblers and the NFL Back Judge who threw the game changing flag?  Who will investigate the 94 year old groundskeeper with the close and personal affiliation with the winning team?  The same is true when we talk about our federal government.

When we talk about our government excess…I AM THROWING THE FLAG.  And next week I will tell you why I threw the flag and why I won’t pick it up.  Call me a “Crazy Conspiracy Nut,” but I am pretty sure we cannot survive as a country if our annual Government expenses are TWO TRILLION MORE than our annual tax revenue.  Can someone tell me how THAT works?

Again, someone get a hold of Nikki Haley, so I can give her a plank in her campaign that will WORK and get her 75 million votes…right from the jump.  Say it with me, “Release, Re Hat, Retire, Release, Re Hat, Retire, Release, Re Hat, Retire.”  And click your ruby slippers together and maybe Nikki Haley can save our country.
